Since running the encounter in the Curse of the Crimson Throne adventure path involving the owlbear skeleton, I was wondering what I'd use to represent this creature because I had nothing that really worked. Sure I could have used a regular owlbear, but it wasn't very skeleton-like. Now I have a miniature to use. The brown fur/features could use a little more depth but otherwise it is not bad. I don't need more than one of these but I'm very happy it was made.

Sharp sculpt & clean paintjob, well placed on its Large base.

Thankfully, it's not ludicrously large, which could easily make it bigger than most of the owlbear minis from which it would theoretically have been derived.

2 to 4 are easily usable, and they are common enough to be reasonably priced.

Unimpressive because it´s too small.

GOOD:
The idea to make a skeletal owlbear is cool. The bones are clearly visible and the half-skeletal skull is horrifying.

BAD:
If i put this beside "Beaky" the owlbear from the "Rusty Dragon Inn" set, it´s only half it´s size.

UGLY:
I don´t need four half-decayed owlbears. This should have been bigger and a rare mini. It´s uncommon slot could have been given to one of the three rare Cavalry minis, none of which has a paintjob qualifying for a rare anyway.
