Unlike Pathfinder's balor, which had a vastly different look from the Dungeons & Dragons style, the pit fiend has a very similar look which I much prefer. This devil is gigantic for a large. The wingspan especially adds to its size. This is great when on the battlefield but a pain in the butt for storage.
I think he is the "must have" of this set. Nice touch to package the wing separately, just be careful when inserting it you don't break it. It fits very snugly. I pulled him in the first pack of my brick. He will terrorize my gamers for countless years.
GOOD:
The size is great, you actually have to insert the right wing into a socket (easily done and sturdy enough to remove again) to complete this big bad boy.
A good paint job and active pose, much better than the D&D version (which looks more classic but kind of inactive).
