Thanks for your order! I think this book came out very cool; lots of fun ideas from the guys covering both some of the obvious tropes and some fairly inventive concepts.

If you have a few minutes to write a quick review, we would surely appreciate it!

Question about the Learning Helmet. Are the varied prices associated with it based off of the Ultimate Campaign retraining prices? Since those prices are partially based off of character level, how does one actually price any given Learning Helmet?

I have a proposed 'fix' for the Learning Helmet.

The learning helmet itself costs a set amount, but the 'skill training programs' are what cost the varied amounts. Lets say 10 x the desired number of skills x the desired number of skill ranks in gp.

Just a thought.

Reviewed first on endzeitgeist.com, then submitted to Nerdtrek and GMS magazine and posted here, on OBS and d20pfsrd.com's shop.

@Warhawk7: Your fix does sound reasonable - I read the item as an item that needs to be crafted for one specific retrain for a given individual, but I actually like your take better! :D

Rolling through this again and I have a question. Can nanoweave be used to created armors and if so what benefits does it impart to the wearer?

When I wrote nanoweave, I had in mind the type of lightweight, carbon fiber materials that provide lightweight, durable material to make items necessary to survival in hostile environments while taking up a minimum of space and carrying capacity. To be honest, it hadn't occurred to me to look at its use in armor.

While durable, nanoweave is meant to withstand environmental stress, rather than blades and focused blows. However, layering enough of it to serve as armor seems feasible. A quick way to do it would be to give it properties equivalent to mithral as a manufacturing material.
