I rebuilt LGZ between sessions to be level 1 Barbarian dip and then start in fighter. Increased movement and HP is always fun.

I did a minor rebuild on Kasvot, swapping magic missile for shield. He'll eventually pick up a wand of magic missile, but can't until his Prestige is higher. Otherwise, leveled up and ready to get back into Gameplay!

Already bought a wand of mage armor; I'm pretty sure you're limited to one purchase with prestige points per chronicle.

Hmm... I don't think I ever really read that footnote to mean per chronicle, more so just to mean while playing the adventure and thus not being a limiting factor outside of the adventure during downtime. But now that I'm reading it more carefully, it certainly seems to indicate what Kasvot is saying.

The footnote from page 22 of the PFSRPGG when referencing the 150g and 750g prestige purchases...

3 - Once per session, you can acquire any single item of this cost or less from your faction by spending the appropriate number of Prestige Points. Items purchased this way are worth 0 gp and cannot be sold.

Does everyone agree that means a player can only do the 2PP free purchase once per chronicle? It certainly seems that the footnote is saying that, but I'm open to a discussion.

Well this does present a pickle. I see how that reads now (to be honest I never really paid much attentions to it). However, this does not really take into account the Module/AP. The chronicle counts as three 'sessions' for XP, so I could see how it could be ruled that a player could make up to three purchases during the duration of that chronicle sheet.

If we are limited to just the one, I have to dump a wand.

I totally agree that it would be a disadvantage for anyone playing modules or APs compared to regular scenarios, but am not finding anything even close to a ruling in the PC's favor. Anyone else find anything?

The only thing I could offer is that we could purchase one item at the end of the 1st Chronicle, then a second item at the beginning of the new scenario, before we've even seen the Chronicle for it. But, that would be it; there would be no additional PP purchases between 2 & 3.

I can actually agree with that, it doesn’t seem to restrict when during the scenario things are purchased and I’ve several times bought things right off the bat in a scenario.

Hey, the good news is I have figured out where to go with Dimple next level. I will take a dip into cleric. Round 1 = BLESS, Round 2 = IC. Travel and Luck domain means 30' move and Fortune 4x/day.

It is usually something many pathfinders don't even consider.

I like our vibe, but I can appreciate the position the player is in. I would be up for letting them join. Not that we would be doing it for the positive dicebot karma, but one never knows.

I definitely support helping this player out. It's easy enough to bring them in for just that session; there's no need to keep them around for the greater run post-Gallows if we like the makeup of the group now.

So I need to report this game per the guidelines found in Flaxseed Discussion (if needed, I can dredge up a link). It has to do with getting a snapshot of who all is playing so that free PF1 replays can be assigned to each account.

I'm assuming Fromagalli is taking this one slow progression so that he is able to join the group in part 3. Anyone else doing anything super crazy?

I actually stole a whole chunk of ideas from GM Poblano's slides about how to set up an SOP and re-did the top two pages of the slides. Put up where you all want to take your watches on the top page under marching order and let me know if you all want to change that order or do anything else with it.

Page two has all the initiative and perception blocks. I don't really roll perception for players anymore but I'm open to working them into the SOP, either take 10 or (taking much longer) take 20. Let me know how you all wish to set it up. If you want to all literally stomp along in a line in standard marching order without looking for anything or stealthing, no problem either!

We can even get down to nitty-gritty details like "Liet-Gar sneaks 25 ft ahead of the group, casually watching for dangers and traps (stealth and perception take 10). The rest of the group follows behind, everyone trying to keep their feet quiet (stealth take 10). Liet-Gar happens upon a closed door and he motions the group to stop while he carefully inspects it for dangers (take 20). Finding none, he declares it safe but locked. Dimple moves up and disables the tumblers (take 10 or roll if that fails). Dimple moves back and Liet-Gar steps up with his polearm ready with Niza/Fromagalli on either side of the door. Niza pulls it open and the half-elf steps in to see...
