The vile terrors of Pathfinder Roleplaying Game Bestiary 5 come alive on your tabletop with this boxbusting collection of more than 300 creature pawns for use with the Pathfinder Roleplaying Game or any tabletop fantasy RPG! Printed on sturdy cardstock, each pawn contains a beautiful full-color image of a monster from the fifth volume in the Pathfinder RPG's core monster reference series. Each cardboard pawn slots into a size-appropriate plastic base, making it easy to mix with traditional metal or plastic miniatures. With multiple pawns for commonly encountered monsters and over 200 distinct creature images, the Bestiary 5 Box is the best way to ensure you've got the perfect foes to make your Pathfinder campaign deadlier than ever!
Bestiary 5 is still new and shiny to players and gamemasters alike, so this set may not be seeing as much use at present as it will in the coming years. In my experience, campaigns slowly climb their way up through the Bestiary books from one to two to three and so on. Books four and five seem to be geared more toward epic monsters and the like.
Bestiary five includes the new psychic themed monsters to coincide with the Occult Adventures books. There are close to 300 pawns as usual with gorgeous art and the standard high quality pawn card stock. Whether or not you're currently using the Beasts in the Bestiary, you owe it to yourself to pick up this fantastic set for the times when your PCs need that extra level of challenge.
It is gargantuan sized (4x4) and all pawn sets only include small and medium pawns (for use on medium bases), large pawns (for use on large 2x2 bases) and huge pawns (for use on huge 3x3 bases).
A lot of people want gargantuan 4x4 crearures and colossal 6x6 creatures as pawns.
I purchased the box set yesterday and before punching out the pawns, I noticed that I had two identical sheets. Checking, I found that there were two sheets of #48 thru #64, but all of #65 thru #81 is missing. It looks like one sheet was doubled up when it was packaged. Is this in all the boxes or just the one I picked up? Should I return this one to the store or to Paizo directly?
