[PFS] A Vision of Neb (Inactive)

Game Master Nebten

Dispatched on an envoy mission overland from Absalom to port city Escadar, you must weather the harsh wilderness of the Isle of Kortos before you can hope to meet with the representative of the elusive gillmen.

Luisila, yep - level 2 for Omrax. All of his missions to date have been bumpy - with him spending the final combats unconscious or sick or something. Hopefully a new level helps change his luck.

Cudos for Ben for running (have the chronicle, so thanks again!)

I have been learning alot from watching the different GM's on this PBP medium. I lost one of my players already on First Steps #1. He said PBP was not working for him. That is my first run...so I will probably run something again after the New Year once we wrap up. Maybe another first steps, maybe something else Level 1-5 so we can get a few 2nd level or higher going. Will PM you if I start a new one...

Cheers and Merry Christmas to all as well :-)

I would definitely be up for anything Tier 1-2, even the first two first steps, which I've never run. Anyway, Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays.

Ben, thank you for a great pace and a fun little adventure. I am really sorry that my job coupled with horrible holidays schedule prevented me from being more active at the end of the adventure - although I seriously doubt that I would have made any significant difference.

Ben - I guess I should PM you with my e-mail address. What about Day jobs - should we roll here or...?

Once again - thank you all guys for a nice game, I hope I will have the possibility of playing with you again sometime soon. Cheers and happy holidays everyone!

You are all welcome. I am happy each of you had a good time.

Luisila, I'm glad you learned more about PFS. I hope you continue to play and enjoy the game.

Yes, the brave adventurers beheaded the Bog Mother tendering her children (ie thistles & weeds). But she was wielding a Rake of ULTIMATE DOOM! Or something like that.

Omrax, I'm sorry a player left your game. Its better he told you instead of just dropping off while you are waiting for him to do something.

I find the First Steps series very difficult and #1 is hard to run over a PbP format. I would stick with dungeon crawls for the random PFS PbP get togethers until you feel comfortable with your own style. That's probably what I would do for my next game.

I hope your next time out will run smoother, Haraldir. BTW, you still need artisan tools or you are at -2 for your Craft check. Ha! No worries, you still get the same amount for that roll =v).

Merry Christmas all, and Good Gaming in the New Year.

@Omrax - Except for short PbPs, player attrition is almost guaranteed. Even then, we lost a player during FS I as well, and that's not a long game at all.

I was playing in a Feast of Ravenmoor game this summer. The GM's posts became less frequent, then he finally just vanished. No explanations and ignored my PMs. The game finally went inactive.

He's still actively playing and GMing on the boards here. He simply dropped us. Obviously, that was uncool. So, even GMs quit games; not just players.

When somebody quits, just try to find out why and wish them well. And if you post for a replacement, you'll get plenty of offers. Demand greatly exceeds supply here. People really want to play. And those that get in late are often so jazzed they give you 100%.
