I think this miniature really failed to translate the artwork into a figure. Starting from the hat down to the boots it seems to miss on all counts. I wonder if, in this case, it might have been better to have done a different sculpt rather than try and duplicate the artwork.
This figure has numerous problems. The original artwork contains so much detail which his hard to deliver on a prepainted figure. The details on this sculpt are kind of mushed and the paintjob is splotchy. The way the face is painted makes Lirianne look more like a porcelain doll than a grizzled adventurer.
Unfortunately, on every Lirianne I've seen, there's only enough detail on her face to say that she's a burn victim. Which is kind of sad, because everything else about the mini is great.

I ordered a second one just so I could repaint it. I figure I can't butcher the face anymore than it already is :P
