Ill put the game thread up after Ive had a chance to actually do more than glance at the characters. Expect it within a day or two.
Once its up, as characters are approved you can start posting. The idea is to have all the party together and beginning by the 4th of July....but theres no reason some 'role playing' prior as Mirt gathers the characters cant occur in the interim.
This thread will be for discussion. Feel free to ask anything. I consider myself a 'players DM' and not just a hard and fast rules guy...you want to do something odd and buckle a few swashes...feel free.
I prefer to do the majority of dice rolling, unless someone has a particular desire to do it themselves.

however much you wish to do. Im easy that way. I realize some folks get more into the role playing than others. If this was a 1st level start and I was looking to run something lengthy, Id ask for a bit more...but basicly this is something to introduce myself to the gaming community on the boards....how we progress after this scenario depends on the players.
I will be starting up a pathfinder Adventure when I have the Beta Book in my hot little hands....but for now.....

You can combine up to 4 of those spells onto a single scroll...as many times as you have scroll spells.

Yes we are off to a good start. Thanks for the excellent posting all. I like that we have a group of role players here.
Just a word on dice rolling. It is my like to do all the die rolling if you do not mind. It keeps things moving and you can focus on 'playing' If anyone is adverse to this, then let me know.
I wont require a dice roller if you want to make your own. The honor system is fine. After all if we were sitting around a table i wouldnt be asking to see your dice rolls to make sure you weren't fudging them...so why should I here.
I have lots of little house rules that will gradually come up...but nothing so drastic that needs attention now
for the spellcasters, one of my houserules is it takes 1 hand to cast 1st - 3rd level spells...anything above that needs 2...as I said, small things.

Yeah i saw it..I do not have a MIC so if when you use the item (or before) you want to post here what it does, then Ill know ;) but i cant see it as being game disruptive so....

Ok. I will make a new persona for Eremus and pick a pic too.
Also, if there is any posting going on this weekend, I wont be around to respond until Sunday afternoon.
Eremus is easy-going to most anything and if negotiations involve any sort of malfeasance or evil, he won't likely want to be involved. Also, There will have to be a strong motivation to convince him to do something illegal.

The character is a ghostwise halfling. Per the FRCS...
"Speak without sound" (SU) A Ghostwise halfling may speak telepathically with any creature within 20' just as if speaking to them. The Halfling can only speak to one person at a time and must share a common language or the telepathic link fails.

How do you feel the game is progressing?
Are there any subplots within the context of your characters you'd like to see me develop?

As I think I mentioned before, I am a players DM...to me the games are all about making it as enjoyable as possible to you....thats how I get my enjoyment..
So if theres something you want to bring up...do so whenever you want.

Dusk has enemies that may be motivated enough to come to the surface looking for her, or possibly send agents after her. The theft of the Warriors items would eventually be found out(by now I'm sure it has.) and it wont be hard to know who did it.

I think the game is going well so far. PbP is defacto slow, that's just all there is to it. But everyone seems to be trying to get in there an mide thier characters part of the discussion.
I don't feel as though I need any custom sub-plots because I designed Vergor with the main-plot in mind.
I can't think of anything offhandedly that you aren't doing or are doing that I hate. I'm having a lovely time.

A quick note on how I keep you abreast of damage.
I dont just say 'Eremus has taken 8 damage from the arrow'. I think that suspends the role playing aspect a bit....
Instead Ill let you know about how much damage you've taken with a descriptor.
Here's the breakdown...
Minor Damage: 1-5
Light Damage: 6-10
Moderate Damage: 11-20
Serious Damage: 21-30
Critical Damage: 31-40
Grave Damage: 41+
I have others for higher, but it is unlikely they will come into play in the scope of our mini-campaign at this point.
So that same arrow strike on Eremus would look something like...The Arrow slices across Eremus' Forearm doing Light damage to the cleric.
I will also post a running Tally of damage taken in a combat stat block that looks something like this...also alerting who is next by the bold name

Just FYI, if a player is due to take an action and no post is made, I will make an 'obvious move for the player...if there is one'. (such as attacking someone adjacent...or healing someone that is need...) but if there isnt an obvious move and no post is made in 24 hours...the character will delay his action as the next character or bad guy goes...until we get to the end of the combat round...then the character will refocus and move to the front of initiative round the following round...and begin to move down the list again until we get to the bottom again..The player may act at any time during the combat round after Ive indicated its there turn...Initiative will be adjusted to when they post.
