Franchise creator Jason Anarchy brings you the first game in the Drinking Quest series!

Once in a while a game comes along where you face palm and say “Why didn’t somebody think of that before?” Drinking Quest is equal parts Table Top RPG and Drinking Game. You have Character sheets, Dice, Hit Points, and other RPG staples but when your character dies in the game you have to down your drink in real life! These are new stakes that have never before existed in an RPG.

As far as drinking games go, it’s actually pretty well paced so you only chug on average once per hour. This is a drinking game that you can actually finish!

Besides the Drinking Game meets RPG hook, the Drinking Quest games stand on their own as a comedy game which pokes fun at Sword & Sorcery, Absurdities of life and gaming culture. There are all kind of nerdy Easter Eggs that ensure the game continues to be funny with new jokes game after game.

While other games strive to have endless universal appeal, Drinking Quest takes pride being designed FOR YOU, the hardcore nerd.

This is without question the funniest game I have ever played...nothing can even compare. "Head Butt To Groin" has now taken on a whole new meaning....

Grand Lodge

So this peaked my curiosity when all 4 reviews had reviewed these two products within the same period of time. I don't normally do this type of questioning on reviews.

Are you a beta test group that has played this before the actual release? It's currently on preorder..

Some of the profile users only have these reviews and no board post.
Not that I doubt the reviews...but this seems kind of weird (shaddy?) without any explanation of the rule set or details.

I’ll take a gander at it when it goes on sale, but I hold some restraint due to the reviews within minutes of each other.

DQ is a year old (been available from their site and some conventions and stuff for some time.) DQ2 came out in August. It has developed a pretty dedicated fan base in a short amount of time.

Its super fun. My wife even enjoys playing it. Though it took a bit to wrap her head around the rpg stuff (what the hell is a saving throw?)

A great time!

Grand Lodge

Good to hear then. I retrack my questions then.

hey, it makes sense. Nothing worse than trusting a review that turns out to be bogus!

I'd still be skeptical. The only action on those accounts is those reviews. I will wait for a REAL person to review before buying.. Real as in has used these forums more than once.

Sovereign Court

Very sceptical, The amount of stuff with pure 5star reviews is pretty slim. The idea that 6 people signed up and reviewed this stuff very favourably with completely not-critical and vague reviews and then disappeared from the boards never to be seen again...

Pretty lame.

Hello, I'm the creator the Drinking Quest games. Yes I made some post like "Available on Paizo, please say nice things if you like the series"

The first game came out about a year ago and has been a great success. The second game is pretty recent but I've also heard nice things so far.

I'm pretty new to Paizo and Pathfinder. About a week after I got into Pathfinder I found out they were selling my games here! So I'm happy to be a part of the community.

Feel free to check out the official site www.DrinkingQuest.com or ask me any questions if you have them, Ill check back from time to time.

Cheers,

Jason Anarchy

????

Are you a seer who can predict things even YOU dont know yet? Or have you been playing too much of your own drinking game... :P

Shadow Lodge

The name of his game IS Drinking Quest. He's probably discovered Pathfinder about once a week since 2009.

There's also the fact that he might not have immediately associated Pathfinder the RPG with Paizo, the website that sells his game.

He also never specified WHEN he made the post saying "Available on Paizo, please say nice things if you like the series".

Thanks Kthulhu!

@dunebugg I don't play my games nearly as often as I'd like!
