Beautiful, but not perfect

4/5

The black and silver look great and are flavorful for the AP. While not as bright as the silver from Second Darkness they are still readable. The chain motif looks decent while the dripping from the numbers is great. Then there's the ravens. I LOVE the ravens on top of the numbers. They look great and are perfect for the AP. But the ravens are only on the d10 and d00. The rest of the dice only have the chain and dripping motifs. Overall, a solid set but the disappearance of the ravens keeps me from giving this set a 5.

Best Q-Workshop dice yet.

4/5

Just received these yesterday. Beautiful dice, the numbers are clear and easy to read. The D4 is a bit more difficult because of the designs in the centre of the face, but still not impossible.

I'm only giving 4 stars because I wish Q-workshop would sell a 10 dice set, and even better if it had a 'negative' d6 opposite of the others' colour, but still this is a great set to give a new gamer.

Did you find anything out?

I see the price has been reverted to $12.00. Are those of us that preordered when it was $21.60 still going to be charged that amount? I can't find a way to cancel the preorder from the orders screen and reorder with the (what I assume is the correct price) fixed price.

Price wonkiness will not be tolerated.

I've gone through and fixed every outstanding order for the dice. Everyone's getting the correct $12.00 price now. :)

Hopefully the burros will get there before September's books shipment.

BTW good job on halving the price, now to find something else to buy and give you more of my money...

So did the donkey's drown?

Maybe some dastardly villain hijacked the burros.

Perhaps I've said too much.

Indeed!

I've learned that Q-Workshop does sell individual dice at fairly reasonable prices for a number of their various lines, but they only seem to sell full sets of the Pathfinder lines.

Wonder why that is? I have considered just buying two sets, but being able to get at least 4d6 would be nice.

Is there a plan to do a Jade Regent set?

Contributor

I haven't gotten an update on this set yet from our distributor.
Walter, I'm not aware of what is upcoming in future sets, though a Jade Regent one would be super sweet! :D

Liz,

What about the Serpent's Skull dice? Q-Workshop had them at Gen Con (looked great, btw). I expected to be able to buy them here when I got home but they aren't even listed yet.

Contributor

Mandor, I was waiting for them to show back up from our GenCon stock, and it looks like they're now available here. :)

So the burros did make it!

So, any other AP's going to get dice? Surely Skull & Shackles has got to be ripe for pirate themed dice? Tell me that isn't all sorts of awesome........

Tomorrow morning I'm ordering this set of dice. I would have ordered the RotR dice first, but they are on backorder, so I'll get them when they return. I JUST discovered these dice sets too, cause I was thinking I might go ahead and order some dice and stick them in my sidecart, but now... man I need these dice NOW. Heh.

The reason I am of course telling you this is to say thank you and Q-Workshop for coming up with these truly amazing dice sets! :)

mmmm dice *gurgling noise*
