There are bandits in the hills, and GameMastery Flip-Mat: Bandit Outpost lets heroes take the fight to the enemy's lair! From the look-out tower to the prison cells to quarters for the goons, the Bandit Outpost is a perfect set-piece for any campaign, and easily doubles as a suitable home for the heroes after they have rescued it from evil.
This portable, affordable map measures 24" x 30" unfolded, and 8" x 10" folded. Its coated surface can handle any dry erase, wet erase, or even permanent marker. Usable by experienced GMs and novices alike, GameMastery Flip-Mats fit perfectly into any Game Master's arsenal!
On tabletops across the world, the Flip-Mat Revolution is changing the way players run their fantasy roleplaying games! Why take the time to sketch out ugly scenery on a smudgy plastic mat when dynamic encounters and easy clean-up is just a Flip away?
I used the outpost side of the map for a really long session involving role playing rather than combat. If you have another map with grass and a road, you could have a pretty decent siege encounter. GameMastery continues to provide DMs with great tools for whatever edition of the game you play.
Just a thought for these maps [any and all] Why dont the map-pack descriptions list what module or adventure the maps fit? A reviewer notes that the Bandit Outpost map equals Olegs in Kingmaker...should that not be on the product page? I recall another map pack being the dungeon for another module [ist level??] Are there any others?
With the upcoming "KINGMAKER" computer game & "Pathfinder Battles" miniatures set, it would make a lot of sense to add this to the "Flip-Mat Classics" line! ;-)
Personally i would like a "Bandit Outpost" reprint, because Kingmaker is en vogue with the computer game & minis set and "Pirate Island", because there is no other beach map.
"Mountain Pass" also is the only option for a snow/ice-covered plains.
