Puzzles are a mainstay of classic fantasy adventures, and when you can include one in your own adventure, your players face another challenge to enjoy and overcome. Unfortunately, not everyone has the ability or time to create their own puzzles and many commercial adventures simply don't include them.
On the pages within, you'll find a familiar puzzle that has been modified into a fantasy-style brainteaser for your player's gaming pleasure. You can drop this into your game or campaign with very little effort, or create your own unique puzzle using the helpful guidelines.
Note that this puzzle was created with the Pathfinder Roleplaying Game in mind, but it can just as easily be used in virtually any fantasy game setting or game system. Please enjoy it with our compliments!

Will be looking for an interesting way to incorporate this puzzle into an arc, I'm thinking something that will take them multiple sessions. Perhaps the board itself resides in a tavern, magically anchored to a table, whilst the pieces were dispersed amongst a group to force them to be loyal to each other, with the pieces being the only way to unlock the board, which in turn is the only way to unlock....map?...vault?..not sure yet, but I'm liking the idea of using the board as a way to introduce a group with a pact, now I just need to decide upon the group, and the pact, lol.
