Journey to the Shrine of the Risen, an ancient holy site to the Ascended God. Though the Risen himself has perished his temples and shrines remain. It is at the Shrine of the Risen that the demon Tenzekel seeks the knowledge to ascend to divinity himself.

Roadside Encounter Anyone

5/5

This PDF consists of 6 pages
- Cover (complete with creepy demon face)
- Product Identity/Compatibility Page
- 1 page Encounter Details
- 1 page Statblock for Villain and summoned creatures
- 1 page full color map (with permission to print)
- 1 page OGL

Artwork consists of the demon face used as both the cover image, and the artwork for the statblock page, and the wickedly cool logo for the company gracing the product identity page as well as backgrounds through out. Text formatting is dual column, with a "read aloud" box on the encounter details page. The overall feel of the product is very crisp, very professional, and slightly gothic in it's overall color schemes.

The 1 page map, although not labeled as such, I believe would print with little to no alteration into a battlemat easily. The look of the map's design lends me to believe it was created with a Dunjinni style mapmaking program. The overall feel of the map is one of cleanliness, it has the details it needs, with only a small amount of additional decoration, leaving it uncluttered.

Our villain for the encounter, Tenzekel a Shabriri demon, is presented with a logical reason for being at the location, as opposed to the constant wave of "Monster-in-the-room" we usually see plaguing RPG products. This villain has a reason to be there other than so that the "hero's" can find him. With only one page of text defining the entire encounter the author does an excellent job of defining tactics, motives, and fluff.

Overall I'm giving this PDF a 5 star rating, and would encourage any GM/DM to slide this into their campaign. If this is an accurate example of what to expect from Krome Dragon Games, I will be picking up several more products.

Thank you sir! If you're fighting a demon, I doubt it will be too pretty :)

Just a quick note, but your description above seems to be missing a word.

"Journey to the Shrine of the???"

I assume it should be Risen, but thought you should know.
