Jungle Motiff Items Aplenty!

5/5

If that's what you need, then this is the set for you! Contains what has become a standard across the board mix of weapons, armor and items - all sprinkled with the flavor of the jungle in design and appearance.

The art is gorgeous and the cardstock is strong. Worth picking up for those jungle adventures.

Good but 'special'

4/5

Ok, first of all, I don't play Pathfinder AP's, I play in my own home-made campaign in the world of Greyhawk. That being said, these cards are really good! I like the artwork, the descriptions, the style. Some 'weird' stuff in here like the parrot but overall, I can use many of the cards in a creative way! Really great to hand out! Love them :-)

Different is good

4/5

I really dig the primitive tribal thing going on in this set. I wouldn't mind seeing something similar on down the line. Am thinking about picking up a second copy of this one.

Nice Set

4/5

...of exotic items
actually I'm very happy to have some usual stuff in it, too, like the peg leg and waterskin

A good collection

3/5

I like the idea of cards like these for the game. I have one other deck and designed items stats for all 52. this deck how ever makes me wonder what to do with some of the cards. Examples include "A Parrot","Food",A Raft" and "A Patch of Fur".
I guess I could make up something but how many times are you going to give a raft as an item.... IMHO.

Serpent folk! Gorilla King!

Are there rules for blowguns in PFRPG? I could see a blowgun and maybe drums in this too, but maybe that's just my imagination running wild.

when do we get a preview?

I have been buying each of the equipment decks as they have become available at my LFGS (Local Friendly Gaming Store). However, after looking through up coming decks online. I wanted to take this time to make a suggestion for an equipment deck slightly out of the ordinary. I have noticed on the message boards a number of campaigns set in more advanced eras. Some such as pre-renaissance, Steam-punk Victorian, post-renaissance, and of course general science-fiction. How about a couple of equipment decks covering these eras. You could include such weapons as blunderbuss, flintlock pistol, dueling pistol, bayonet, hand cannon, musket, print press, Royal Ball attire, eye patch, treasure map, and even psionic themed "magic" items. Of course, I haven't even touched upon the science fiction themed equipment. Such as blaster, laser rifle, disruptor, force screen necklace, bionic arm, bionic eye, anti-gravity boots, jump pack, vibro blade, mono-whip.

I could go on and on. I think with Paizo's excellent job they have done on the fantasy equipment decks. You guys would do just as great a job on these other genres. Who knows perhaps with advent of the Pathfinder campaign and its new book out this Summer. Perhaps equipment decks based from each of the Inner-Sea Kingdoms would be cool too. Rather than totally different equipment (as suggested in the differnent era decks) to same equipment with different artis renditions for each of the Pathfinder Kingdoms or societys (Hellknight armor anyone). Just some suggestions from a long-time fan of all of your equipment decks.

I would fairly appreciate a steampunk deck, too

+1 again. That would be absolutely most excellent.

Really, I love these cards (nearly every set). I want Paizo to expand what they're making - branch out from "adventure path" support, to general RPG support for different themes and/or genres.

This looks great! I will have to order it for the monkey paw alone. ;-)

I'm a bit surprised the package changed, I thought the old one was the final product. But it looks nice!

Looking forward to the AP as well.

Never purchased or used any of the card decks. How are they used?

They're designed with flexibility in mind, so there's no one answer to that. In my campaign, players have cards for pretty much all of their equipment. (We don't bother with cards for stuff that the party plans to sell right away.)

There are no stats—the backs of the cards have an area where you can write notes. Typically, we use this space to record stats, so we might write "Natural Armor +2" on an amulet, or record the number of charges remaining on a wand; if it's an unusual item, we might jot down what book it's from, and what page number the full writeup is on.
