These little morons rock!

5/5

It was great to put these lil guys on the table for RothRL...sure I could have used my regular WH gobbos, but these were much sweeter.

only wish there was a mounted commando on his goblin dog, and a a few more regular goblins, I made two sets for my game, but who needs 2 goblin kings or 4 war chanters?

Excellent product and value!

5/5

Wonderful idea and well implemented! The art is great, they are easy to assemble and if you need more, you can always print more up. I really hope that Paizo continues this line of products!!!

You need these little psychos!

5/5

Awesome set based on the revised, pathfinderized look for goblins.

Basic torch-wielding goblins are so funny that you'll want to print at least two copies of them, as they make up a very good looking bunch of the classical menacing, psychotic critters.

Art is crisp, detailed, and shows great consistency both with other sets relative size, and with the art you'll see in PF products.

If you're about to run RotRL, this is a must have. In any other case, this is a must have. :)

Well, as promised, here are some pix of the minis in action.

The first set is from the Swallowtai Raid in Burnt Offerings. (The PCs are the plastic Minis and the three-sided purple robed witch. All of the others are bystander counters from PIGames...I have a lot of cardboard minis. As for the Dragon...well, one of my players was using the flat coin token for his rogue. When people complained, he swaped it out for the Dragon..because he has a dragon tattoo. When I (the GM) complained about that, he bought the green claoked archer and its been his mini ever since. The warforged dog is a pet dog the other rogue bought).

The red stones are the ever-growing fires in the town.

With 5-6 characters, I had a larger raiding party and had several encounters start at once on opposite sides of the squares, so you can see the Paladin (Viking figure) saving Aldern Foxglove while the others fight the bard and her minions in the center of the square while other goblins try to set fire and wreck wagons...

The later pix are from the Glassworks Battle and Catacombs of Wrath.

Anyway...

I printed the goblins in two sightly different scaes so that I could have big and little goblins. And so that, as you can see, you can slip a large goblin hound over a small gobin or a large goblin over the slightly smaller goblin hound to do mounted minis.

I find the "cut along the lines" thing to be a bit time consuming and frustrating, so I cut these out in the classic Steve Jackson Carboard Heroes "A Frame" style.

As you can see, it worked pretty well.

BTW: We used the DIVs as the Vargouilles and the Pugwupis showed up in my other PF campaign...great paper minis...

Better picture Link to see the goblins in action (you can see the "mounted goblins" in the Sandpoint Raid and Thistletop Bridge scenes:

Just added a new folder with pix of all the PF Paper minis I've put together so far. Including the assembled Goblin Horde!

First time using these and I must say: while they look lovely, they are markedly smaller than my metal/plastic minis.

Are they all like this?

Depends on how you print them.

They easily can be either letter or executive, which will give you two different sizes.

Or just scale up the minis in your print options. (I often make one or two sheets lightly larger or smaller to get a better variety).

These seem to be 25-35 mm depending on your print options, and they should end up about the same size as D&D minis goblins.

Games Workshop Minis are almost always larger because they are going for wargaming style, which tends to have larger, and often exaggerated features (but still can look good).

If you look at the above links, you can see how I put a number of these together at different sizes.

And you can see how big they ae by looking at the 1" squares in the game.

well i am going into a grave yard with skells and zombies hint hint

Are we going to see any more Paper Mini's available soon? I enjoy the concept and plan on buy some soon but i also noticed that the variety seemed to stop dead shortly after some of the Kingmaker series. Did these just stop being formatted altogether?

If you do a search for Pathfinder Paper Minis you'll find a horde of different sets of minis, including ALL of the encounters needed for LOF 1 and 2, ROTR 1-5, Most of KM 1-2, COnquest of Bloodsworne Vale, plus goblins, gnolls, ogres and Hellknights. Aweseome!

Do a search for Battle Studios and you'll see a great set of adventurers minis with character and action: 30 different characters with 2 color schemes and a third set of B&W to color however you want!

Ashton Sperry did three other sets of Paper Minis: Coluseum Morpheum (two groups of what I think are magical gladiators), Litorans (humanoid felines and Bullettes!) and Witch's Choice (an assortment of interesting monsters and characters). All very cool!

And super Genius Games did a set of Undead and a set of Giants (nice, though some of the female characters have comical anatomy...)

Any of these are excellent value and youg et some terriffic minis.

I have all of these sets and they're great.

I'll keep updating my photobucket link when I can to show some of these in action...
