Six brave stick-figure adventurers embark on a semi-epic journey to overcome hardship, villainy, and the rules of their favorite fantasy roleplaying game in The Order of the Stick.

And now you can own the first 121 strips of Rich Burlew’s ridiculously popular webcomic epic in easy-to-read-in-the-bathroom book format! Time and again, you’ll be able to read as Roy, Elan, Belkar, and the rest of the OOTS cast face off against power-mad liches, snippy goblin's henchmen, rebellious teenagers, clown puppets, and their own crushing incompetence.

The Order of the Stick: Dungeon Crawlin’ Fools features 160 pages of full-color comics, including 18 all-new, never-seen-on-the-web bonus strips. Plus, commentary by the author, prefaces by James Wyatt and Belkar Bitterleaf, and scads of random extras we crammed in wherever there was a gap in the page count. This is THE definitive version of the early OOTS adventures, and you like being definitive, don’t you? Of course you do.

NOTE: Copies sold as "Non-Mint" have been dinged or bent during the course of shipment, or have some markings on the cover, so we're making them available at a discounted price. While they have some cosmetic damage, they'll make great second reading copies or companions for your gaming table. There will be no refunds on these non-mint copies.

One of the best

5/5

The Order of the Stick always made me happy when I read it online, but I never stopped to sit and sort through all the entries to follow the storyline all the way through.

I was very happy to get this first collection. It's a treat to read, cover to cover. Wound up buying the rest of the books the day after I finished this one. Heck, I even picked up the board game too. ;)

If you are a fan of "gamer comics" give this a try, you won't be disappointed.

No, they're paperback. Pretty good quality printing, though; mine is still in great shape after being passed around to all my friends.

Any reason there's no "add to cart" button, or even a backorder or currently unavailable tag on this page?

Yeah, we've been told by a fairly informed source that Rich Burlew has no plans to reprint this book any longer. Once we found out about this, we removed the ability to backorder this book. If we hear that he has changed his mind, we will make it orderable again.

OK! Time to order it from his site then! Thanks Lisa.

[Edit]Ack! Even on his own site it looks available but is not. Where oh where can I get a copy of this without paying $250 on Amazon?!

Yoda8myhead. A young man with a passion for Pathfinder. However, his procrastination with buying Order of the Stick: Dungeon Crawlin' Fools, has led him down the path to damnation, his soul whirling in the mire of second-hand collectible mark-ups. Will he cash out his 401k to buy the book he missed in all those paizo.com emails? Will he spend his time wandering online stores, futilely looking for this book? Or will he find his prize...in...the Twilight Zone?!?!

Hey, I have to get back at you for the pounds I added at lunch today chowing down all that great pizza!

A-ha! Order placed! If this comes through and isn't an inventory error, I will lease you my second-born child. (First born's already been claimed.)

No problem. I still owe you for that time, earlier this month, when I asked what Golarion books cover certain topics, and you sent me a complete list. (I still haven't gotten around to getting those yet, because I've been busy reading OTHER Golarion books, and Planet Stories, but I hope to get around to it soon.)

It's funny. There were many times when I've directed people on these messageboards to places to get old, out-of-print books... but usually at outrageously high prices. This is the first time my direction has actually been helpful!

Now, I'm expecting Lisa to put a piece of pizza crust to her upper lip, signifying a mustache, and say in a false baritone "Curses! Foiled again!"

I'm more of a Montgomery Burns maniacal dictator.

"Excellent, Mona! Excellent! We can bind all those Complete Encounters into a single book and sell it for a thousand dollars each! Those bumpkins won't see it coming! Now leave me alone while I book my corporate jet for the Caymans."

Hi again.

Just wonder were things are at with #1. I am keen to see if I can add it to this month's subscription.

It's in stock now! (A couple of non-mint copies are still available, too...)

Though I missed putting it with this month's subscription I am still happy.

I finally get to complete my collection. I missed this book the first time (or multiple prints).
