Great, Even UNPAINTED!!!

5/5

This pewter miniature is one of the highest quality products I have ever purchased. It is beautiful and strong. The pewter shine is so pretty I have considered not painting it! If you love Ptolus or miniatures, Buy this.

Good details

5/5

Excellent design and good model. The swords is easy to modify into something else if you know your way around plastic putty.

What he said...

5/5

This mini is so much better than the Iron Wind Litorians, especially the head, as Benoist has noted.

It is a great sculpt with some nice detail, e.g., the braids in his mane.

The Litorian Lion-Man done Right

5/5

I have a bunch of Ironwind Metals Arcana Unearthed miniatures, including a group of Litorians, or lion men, and I can tell you for sure: THIS Litorian here is the one that has the best head sculpt of all the ones I have.

It will make a great encounter for your PCs, or a great miniature for a PC playing a litorian.

Hi all,

I am trying to find a figure for a character who is 8 foot tall. Could anyone who has this figure let me know how tall (in mm) this figure is??

Thanks

It's about the size of your standard fighter miniature in any 35 mm range. It's probably not perfect to show an 8-foot-tall guy, but it does look like a lion-dude.

Thanks Eric.

It is a very cool Lion-dude....

I would say that the figure also towers over the other figures, perhaps 7 feet tall. So it is pretty close to the 8 feet tall you are looking for.

Are you just looking for a 'hairy dude' for your concept, or are we talking about an 8' tall human here?

If you just want a tall human, a simple head-swap on this guy will give you a 7' (as others have stated), or you can just find an ogre figure for your human. I believe the Ogrun from IK would work for you, like the guy shown here (you'll have to scroll about half-way down).

If you like the 'furry look' of this figure, but need something larger, Reaper has a Sasquatch mini that is very cool (looks like Sabertooth from Marvel Comics). Another option would be to look through their Warlord line, which is 35mm IIRC - anything that size will look big compared to standard 25-30mm.

I love this Lion mini BTW, and will have to get it - every single campaign I have ever run had Lionmen in them, and I have high hopes we will find some in PF.

I am actually looking for a lion-man for a C&C camapign I play in. If the figure definately looks about 7 foot in the flesh (so to speak), I think you have a sale.

I do have a figure from the Age of Aegyptus, but it just isn't impressive enough....and this one has a great-sword....the perfect weapon.

The figure, not including the base, is about 36mm tall. However, he's got a wide stance, so the character is probably a little taller than that.

Age of Aegyptus is a gorgeus line - I have both the Harem special sets.

Something about Baast and catfolk/Lionmen is just too cool.

36mm should tower over most older minis - sounds perfect.

This figure inspires me to do a Wizard of Oz diorama (A dark version, of course).
