With your preparation done, the Shoanti points to a lower area. "That should be a good spot for you. We will be up that rocky hill over there. This way, Akram will be able to witness while staying out of danger." They turn and heads for the hill.

You make your way to the lower area and wander for a moment until the ground start shaking and the immense Cindermaw errupts out of the sand. The gargantic worms start making its way toward you.

@Seltyn. This is a unique monster. It was a purple worm that got infuse somehow with elemental fire.

Kyras manages to give one good slash at Cindermaw. In return, the giant worm fist tries to stab at Kyras with his stinger and then attack with its large mouth. The giant maw just slam to the ground where Kyras is standind. Seconds later, when Cindermaw raises his head, there is no trace left of the half-elf. You can only guess the the first part of the plan worked, Kyras got in.

Seltyn uses his SLA to summon a large ice elemental to attack the beast from behind.

It won't do much, he thinks, but it will occupy Cindermaw for a round or two, if we're lucky.

Kyras looses his 11 temp hit points and suffers 9 real damage but the fire damage does not bother him. He does not try to resist the grapple/swallow. As his turn starts he heals 4 damage from Alika's Greater Celestial Healing, so he is down 5 hp.

Once inside he begins to try to cut his way out with the Seltyn's loaned
enchanted dagger. Before he attacks he swift studies his target.

I think you are right. Seemed too quick. Let me retcon that.Also, Kyuras was reduced to half health from that less than average curshing damage. I think Alika would get that from the greater status spell

Seltyn knows the ice elemental will attack this round, but it won't be likely to do much damage or last very long. He casts a spell that's sure to damage Cindermaw but not Kyras.

After much work, Kyras finally cut himself free for the inside of the worm. He lands right next to Cindermaw. Luckely for him, the creature is currently too distracted by the lareg ice elemental to notice the half-elf. The summmon attack the giant fire worm, its fist create little clouds of vapor as it touch the fiery skin.

Cindermaw counterattack, almost destroying the ice elemental in two powerfull strike.

I think you still have fly active on you from Seltyn. You can save the elixir.


You start retreating and managed to get a good distance when the ground beneath shakes and cracks open. I would seem that Cindermaw isn't totaly done with you.

Reflex or Acrobatic DC 10 to stay standing, for those on the ground.

Slightly ahead, you see Cindermaw coming back out of the ground. He is about twenty feet in front of you.
