Alithea woke up in her temple in Absalom, it had been some time since she'd returned to look over her followers. It seems word had spread since she set out on her last adventure, she noticed several new worshipers at the service when she arrived yesterday, though she teleported directly into her room.
It was an exhausting trip, more difficult than she expected. She had just returned from a month long outing to the River Kingdoms. Day after day spent in small towns seeking out petty tyrants in the making, those who would use lies to start their followings. Though rooting out deception required travel across not only the Cage, but all the planes, Alithea made a habit of passing through the River Kingdoms, as it was a breeding ground for those who would use deception to rule.
Exiting her room well rested, Alithea traveled to Bookworm's office. Her high priest was both one of the few things that tied her to her old life, but also, one of her few direct ties to regular people anymore. She greeted Bookworm, and after exchanging pleasantries, the two sat down to share the events of their past month. Alithea spoke of her triumphs in the River Kingdoms, though she also shared ideas on how she could have performed better. Bookworm shared news of the success of his evangelism and all the new members brought to the faith, but reflected on ways he failed to give the best advice to some devotees seeking guidance.
Reflecting on her guidance, Alithea made her way out of Bookworm's office to minister to the rest of her fledgling clergy before devotees would begin to show up later in the day.
