You will still have the materials required so you can cast the spell and try again.

You only pay the movement cost for the square you enter

if its forcing a choice then it is altering that feature.

Throw Anything (Ex): All alchemists gain the Throw Anything feat as a bonus feat at 1st level. An alchemist adds his Intelligence modifier to damage done with splash weapons, including the splash damage if any. This bonus damage is already included in the bomb class feature.

the throw anything feature is where alch get the int to splash weapons(which bombs and healing bombs are) its already included in the bomb description but its is not FROM the bomb itself.

If it is something the player will know if he fails or succeeds his save either way just say what it is. It saves time rather than having them announce every save bonus they have

they reinforce rules in some abilities just to make sure people know you can use it that way. not because it is an exception. the rule for immediate actions is....

Immediate Action

An immediate action is very similar to a swift action, but can be performed at any time—even if it’s not your turn

however some people think you can't interrupt actions that have multiple parts, like attack rolls and then damage rolls, even though you can.

it is treated as a 1handed weapon for feats.

Jotungrip (Ex): At 2nd level, a titan mauler may choose to wield a two-handed melee weapon in one hand with a –2 penalty on attack rolls while doing so. The weapon must be appropriately sized for her, and it is treated as one-handed when determining the effect of Power Attack, Strength bonus to damage, and the like. This ability replaces uncanny dodge.

Does this FAQ mostly impact animal companion users or is this people blowing things significantly out of proportions by suggesting that magical enhancements are also multiplied? I can definitely see this being a pain for animal companion users, but I don't see literally anything to suggest it affects enhancements, because those are added after the items creation as an additional cost. But I mean, go ahead and call this the death of the game...jeez...kind of a strong reaction.

it doesn't seem like you read what the problems are

Nope rangers are racist

if you want to keep your hands free just get armor spikes put on your armor. they aren't expensive and you don't need a weapon in hand to threaten

Apologize to the GM for causing a disruption in the flow of the game as well. You are a new player and it would smooth things over.

"I'm sorry you f&+#ed me over."

Um no, this is definitely bad advice, don't apologize to other people being douchebags to you.

^ so much this

Wrong. Which is more important; being right all by yourself with no group or swallowing your pride and spreading a little good will at the cost of an apology?

Besides nobody was being a "douchebag". I read what the OP posted and it sounds like they just have VERY different takes on the paladin code. It was nothing more nasty than a bad GMing call, no personal attack at all. So the best thing is to avoid playing a paladin from now on.

i'd rather have a group where people are willing to talk and not f+~! my character over for a bull s$@% reason

1 person marked this as a favorite.

reason #1 I won't play a paladin. seriously tell that gm to go f!&& himself, if that doesn't work find a new group they sound like idiots and a@!&&##s.

no idea what your talking about. might want to explain it a bit more. but on the off chance your title means exactly what it sounds like then, its impossible to dual wield magic or even "wield" magic in your hand.

the first part says pick a weapon the second part says you get a free proficiency I don't see anything that says they must be the same weapon.

Critical Hits: When you make an attack roll and get a natural 20 (the d20 shows 20), you hit regardless of your target's Armor Class

A natural 20 is a hit, regardless of armor class. If your attack bonus is +1 and you attack a creature with an AC of 99, you still hit on a nat 20 even though the result of your attack roll is a 21 and that did not equal or beat the targets AC.

Opportune Parry and Riposte: The swashbuckler makes an attack roll as if she were making an attack of opportunity... If her result is greater than the attacking creature's result, the creature's attack automatically misses.

A miss from Parry is not a miss from armor class. Therefore a nat 20 is not an automatic hit regardless of Parry. So if your enemy rolls a nat 20, you can still cause the attack to miss if the result of your attack roll is higher. If the orc has an attack bonus of +3, and rolls a nat 20, the result of his attack roll is 23. If your attack bonus if +8, and you roll a 16, the result of your attack roll is 24. Since your roll is greater, the orc misses.

However, your attack roll is not opposed by armor class, so a nat 20 doesn't cause you to auto-parry or anything. If the ogre's attack bonus is +15, and he rolls a 14, the result of his attack roll is a 29. If your attack bonus is +8, and you roll a nat 20, the result of your attack roll is 28. In this case, you fail to parry.

Skill Focus (Perception) is uptyped and stacks with anything. it gives you the feat as a bonus feat. also "racial trait" bonuses stack. your thinking of "trait" bonuses that don't stack.

cast it on the planet :O

yes damage stacks just fine. to both of you.

I find it sad that he personally designed Thassilonian Specialist and intended for it to not allow sub schools yet it doesn't even mention that fact in there anywhere. I personally have never read a designer say that they ment for something to be used in some way or do something without any evidence of that in the ability itself.

by raw, sub school away imo. sub schools are still part of the over arching school.

does PFS have a ruling on thassilonian specialist and sub schools?

encountered this in todays game I am playing a psychic and was invisible. I cast a spell to close a door and the dm said that everyone would notice because casting a spell makes a visible magical disturbance as per this faq http://paizo.com/paizo/faq/v5748nruor1fm#v5748eaic9tza

can anyone tell me if being invisible would prevent the spell from being visible as I cast it and give me a link to where it says this?
