The insidious nature of the spell buries into Gralls mind, threatening to freeze all of his muscles and rendering him helpless. His anger builds, thoughts of what Shiz will do to Haleen and his friends fills his mind. He pictures ice forming on his muscles and his will, his anger building against it.
The two forces fight for a split second before the ice shatters, freeing him from the hold of the magic!

The halfling Dren, who looks eerily like Nimpy, addresses the group, You should stop getting hit so much. Magister, perhaps you should stay out of harms reach instead of using you face as a shield. Grumbles, using your face as a shield is an acceptable defense, just try not to get hit!

I think the minium damage is 1 right so the save doesn't matter?

My master spoke of it once...he seemed to think of it as gift, the chance at powers beyond his control. You might as well let us end you now rather than some of the fates that can happen to you.

He looks specifically at Bref, You say you are the smartest Goblin in the world...prove it and show them that you are not the Deck's tool, it's magic will use you then throw you away when it is done with you. I will have nothing to do with...that...I see it is already tempting many of you.

He looks at Edmin, Using that thing potentially weakens the Knot, you should kill the first creature to try and use that deck!

@ Nim, I expected more from someone who is so attuned to nature. I merely wanted to make sure you were strong enough to survive before giving some information that you would want to know. Information that you would want to act on.

@ Anton, I was born here. The island brought me forth to protect it. I feel it's pain, it's life. We are connected in a way beyond standing on it.

@ Tragershen, The Chupacabra means nothing. It is a creature that is a pawn of it's own nature. The next time you encounter it you should set a trap for it and slay it. Throw a net over it then finish it and it will not bother you anymore. Let's just say it hates anything more powerful than it.
Your last question is an interesting one. There is one other that arrived the same day you did. I assume that this creature would also seek to use you in some way.

Mihai only:

You watch the creature as it speaks and interacts.
The first thing you pick up is that it almost did something to Nim when he took a step towards the tree, whatever it was thinking about doing was not going to be nice.
The other thing is her body language when she talks about the Chupacabra. You think she is lying about one or more of the things she just told you about it but you there is an undertone of hatred of it in her words.

Anton lands a solid blow and smashes a hole into the armored shell.

The crabs eyes twitch over to Wic as it gets up...this gives Nim the opening he has been looking for. With a mighty blow he cleaves the Crabs large claw cleanly off its body.

The blow is just too much for the Crab and it flounders to the ground, not knowing it is near death...Corbrius awakens in its claw still in pain lying on the ground.

The Tengu appears genuinely suprised you killed the Crab behemoth so easily...Screk...you handled that well. Hail fellow travelers. I am, Gluck, Pezcock.

The force missle flys unerringly to its target and hits the Cliff Crab in one of its beady eyes, burning it out. The Crab seems to have had enough and for a moment it trys to turn...but all of the hits are too much for it and it loses its grip on the cliff face, plunging 40' to the ground below almost crushing Mihai.

The impact is impressive as the shell gives way and you are splattered with Cliff Crab guts...

Nim peers over the ledge and a short distance away is a overhang where the beast has its lair. You find some shredded clothing, 22sp, 11gp, 3pp, a medium gem (50gp), and a shiny ring (Protection +1).

1. How many does the remaining tribe number?
I think there is at least this many again alive. Although some of our number are always out hunting for food.

2. Any notable members? Their specialized abilities?
Malikadna, she is the Witch of our village. She has always been. She is the one that gives new leader his power. You kill all three of our best warriors...she will probably lead until someone new claims the right to leadership. She has very bad magic...I have seen her wither someone who displeases her into a corpse with her magic. She also curse you if you displease her.

3. Location of the tribe's camp? Travel time from here to there?
Ort points South-SouthWest, Go that way for half a day until you get to the trail. Follow the trail in that direction, if you run for half a day you may just get there. It is on the coast at bottom end of Island. he looks at your group, You not know jungle or trails, it take you two days...most likely.

4. Defenses of the camp?
We have scout watching trail up to camp. Also Shiv Dragon watches the trail up and attack anyone who not one of us. Can smell the difference, you will not smell right.

5. What does he know of the "night visitor"?
What is a night visitor? Ort not understand???, Corbius describes the creature that he encountered, Ort grows fearful and starts babbling. It takes you a few minutes to calm him down, That the Red Mountain Devil. We sacrifice to him once per moon to keep him happy. If he grows dipleased with us, hunters disappear. We were going to give at least one of you to him...please not give Ort to Red Mountain Devil. We here the screams sometimes from his mountain if we grow too close, he eats very slow...

6. Other notable locations or inhabitants of the island?
Hmmm, we hear of the wood witch that way. he points more to the SW, If we go to close to her home, hunters also disappear.
Also crazy bird man lives over there
points more over to the west-southwest area, he probably good eating, but he is fast and smart. We not capture him yet for the table.

7. Is he aware of a way off of the island?
No way off, this our home, me not want to leave, you stay here long time, maybe you become chief? Life hard here but hunting good! You kill Klorak, you should claim title of Chieftain! I support your claim, what you think?

Having played the 13th level Barbarian with combat reflexes, 16 dex and "come and get me", my Barbarian could out damage any BBEG up to 16th level.

His normal damage per round was in the 150-200 point rage without a crit...it was sick. He had a +18 willpower save during rage, +14 reflex and a +21 Fort save.

I was able to finish off the BBEG in Legacy of Fire in 2 rounds....of course he almost dropped me in the exchange, thank god for HEAL at 17th (150hp's) level due to incense of mediation...

If you are lucky enough to get selected for one of Alex's game you will be in for a real treat...that is all I will say.

If I wasn't thinking about running my own game finally I would be all over this game with a character...although I have a Witch concept I have been wanting to try out...just kidding.

Bear is on the Seefood diet so he takes as many as he can eat, There better not be anny Gobbo meat in these Cookie, they ain't good eatin! Oh shiiit those are hot, but good.

The sausages hop from one hand to the next as the searing fat burns both. Fat drips and collects in his beard which he wipes with his big meaty hands. He walks over to the cart to grab one of the jugs of mead and proceeds to drink his fill, before walking back and throwing it to Hangman.

We still don't know that the women has done anything illegal...but I think she should be watched, unknown to her. We need to discover what she is up to, if anythng, and stop her and this cult, if it exists. Good work Sootscales. Between yourself, Mikmek, and Casimir we should be able to watch her activities don't you think? We should also put the items back in her home...she hasn't done anything yet that we know of.

When Malthir sees kip in the room and Ilya nods in the affirmative, Kip, maybe you can also help us look into this, from what Sootscales has told me, you appear to be able to sit in rooms and go quite un-noticed your self? What do you say, are you interested in helping us?

Mischievous Fey
Some local Fey become annoyed with all of the new humans traveling through their woods. They decide to take matters into their own hands by interfering with travel and trade. -2 to Economy until you make a successful stability check and increase unrest by 2 .

The Dead Rise Again
A Necromancer from another kingdom starts up shop in your city. If your city has a graveyard you lose the bonuses from the Graveyard until you make a successful stability check and unrest increases by 2 as the dead sometimes wonder out into the street. If no Graveyard is present in any of your cities unrest increases by 4 until you make a successful stability check to remove the villain.

The 2801-3600 was my understanding as well, but my party went above that anyways. The cleric set up a ward himself to help the infected along with several other low level clerics from his church. They then went to magnimar and bought a couple of wands of cure disease (to save the ones whom they couldn't help through their heal checks) as well as using the cure (they helped to get more alchemists working on it) when it was found to hundreds that came into his ward.

I would be interested to find out where other peoples parties located their base of operations and why?
For my group it was out of necessity. They thought about using Zellara's place (It is empty and I don't think Zellara would mind) but the Half-Orc fighter/wizard in the group was working as an enforcer for a group of criminals called the Velvet Hand (Yes kind of cheesy).
His boss found out that the group had the Queen's brooch (when they went to appraise it, the word got out on the street that they had it) and told him that he had to bring it to him or he would have him killed.
The group decided to take their chances and give it back to the Queen anyways. They are now targets and have already fought off one ambush. So they decided to move into the barracks for the short term as it offers them more protection and use it as their base of operations.
