I was updating my pdf's from my download page and I see that AP#88 is missing. I've had the ongoing AP subscription for quite some time now. Thought it was odd, then checked my bookshelf- I don't have the print version either. Not sure what happened. Maybe had a credit card expire at that time or something? Thanks in advance for looking into this! -Tim

Legacy of Pharaohs!
"In the heart of the Inner Sea region stretches one of the oldest human empires still standing today: the mighty and mysterious land of pharaohs and pyramids known as Osirion. Hosting as many accursed tombs and treasure-filled ruins beneath its shifting sands as above, Osirion offers no shortage of adventure for characters of all sorts. From the cosmopolitan capital city of Sothis, seat of the Ruby Prince, to the desolate wastelands of the Osirian Desert, discover the might and majesty that lifted humanity out of the Age of Darkness and could potentially usher in a new golden age if unearthed from the past."-Osiron, Legacy of Pharaohs, Pathfinder Campaign Setting Our prefered players are: 18+, non-smokers or the ability to play for 3-5 hours without smoking, have reliable transportation and could make it to weekly games on Saturday or Sunday in Milwaukie and/or Beaverton.

I just restarted my Pathfinder Campaign Setting subscription starting with the Wrath of the Righteous Poster Map Folio. I already had the Map Folio in my side cart before the subscription, I just wanted to make sure that I didn't receive 2 copies. Thanks!

One of the players in my current Pathfinder book is working with me on a custom race using the Race Builder rules in the Advanced Race Guide. We were wanting to create a 1 page layout of the race just like in the core rulebook (for our own personal gratification). I have not able to find just the right fonts and spacing. Is there a way we can get a list of the fonts/layout parameters for the race entries in the core rulebook? Now that I am thinking about it, is there an image (public) of the page backgrounds in core rulebook?

I have been a Paizo subscriber to various product lines since the Kingmaker Adventure Path. I have invested thousands of dollars in Paizo products over the years. Over that span of time I have changed my address close to 10 times. In that time I have had a few missing orders, trouble with the web site, incorrect orders, some damaged items shipped. The entire time Paizo Customer Service has been top notch in responding to what ever issue I had. Never have I been less than 100% satisfied with the personal service and attention that I have received and I just wanted to say to everyone on the customer service team- THANK YOU for all that you do day after day, year after year. You have made my relationship to Paizo products just as enjoyable as all the creative artists and writers who publish them.

I am looking to run a Pathfinder Campaign, maybe an Adventure Path. I live in Beaverton, OR and I am willing to travel if someone has a great gaming space better than my apartment. I am also willing to play a character in a number of gaming systems. Feel free to respond to this post or send me a PM.

I am planning on running all the scenarios involving the Blakros family/museum and wanted to make sure I have my list right (in chronological order of release date): Pathfinder Society Scenario #5: Mists of Mwangi (OGL/PFRPG)
Are there any other scenarios the directly or indirectly involve the Blakros Museum or Blakros family?

I am working to get some interest going in PFS games in Grand Junction, CO. There only seems to be one "gaming" store in town that specializes in Magic the Gathering-type card games. They have few Pathfinder products but the do run 4th Ed games weekly so there is some hope for finding role players here. I am planning to run PFS weekly if possible. Please contact me at pfsgm@fastmail.fm if you are somewhere in the Western Slope/ Grand Junction area and are interested in finding Society games.

The following refers to the Heavy crossbow p.145 and Inappropriately sized weapons p. 144 Medium sized character. Heavy Crossbow up-sized to Large (2d8 damage) with a -2 penalty on attack rolls. Assuming we are using 2 hands to shoot, character is proficient with crossbows. For the purposes of up-sizing a medium weapon to large, is the Heavy Crossbow a 2-handed weapon? I've seen several posts on these forums that suggest using a Large Heavy Crossbow. Since ranged weapons are not in the category for light, one-handed or 2-handed weapons for the purposes of using a different size category of weapon, do I assume they can't be used? Or do I go by the text description of the weapon? I assume that the heavy crossbow is a 2 handed weapon- it can't be used by a creature one size category smaller (medium character using a Large Heavy Crossbow). If I assume that the Heavy Crossbow is a 1-handed weapon I would have to shoot the Large version with both hands incurring a -6 (-4 for using the crossbow 1-handed as a medium, and -2 for the large size category). Is there an official ruling on this somewhere?

I have tried to create a character that closely represents a modern infantry soldier. Primary combat abilities revolve around the use of a ranged weapon that can be used at point blank range. The fighter class seems to be built around feat selection. What feats would you choose for the first 5 or so levels? Some assumptions I am going with: Human (for the extra feat at first level), using Pathfinder Society creation rules (20 point buy), STR 14, DEX 19, CON 13, INT 11, WIS 10, CHA 8, +2 to strength for human. Also assuming I will need prereq's for Crossbow Mastery [APG 157]. Using a Heavy Crossbow, buckler and light melee weapon (rapier?). Starting with Point Blank Shot, Rapid Reload (reload Heavy Crossbow as a move action) and Rapid Shot (to meet prereq for Crossbow Mastery which I will take at level 2). After level 2 the character will be able to make full attacks with the heavy crossbow (chosen weapon), reload the weapon as a free action and not provoke attacks of opportunity while attacking with the heavy crossbow in melee. Taking Precise Shot at 3rd level. All of the above can be done without using the Crossbowman alternate class features [APG 104] which sacrifice the fighter's Armor and Weapon training for crossbow-focused class features. Is this a good option? My thoughts are that since the character is more Dex than Str focused, heavier armor might be too limiting anyway. The idea is to have the heavy crossbow as the main all-purpose weapon with a light blade as a backup. Let me know what you think. |
