So my question is: If I choose to take a level of Sorcere (Undead bloodline), the arcana says that my mind-affecting spells work on corporeal undead that were once humanoid. Does it work only on my sorcerer spells or on all my classes mind affecting spells?

Hi everybody!
I just saw a few days ago the new bard archetype, Speaker of the Palatine Eye and fell immediately in love with the concept. A bard (because you don't lose anything of real value with this archetype) who casts psychic spells from the mesmerist spell list. And while it requires you to worship Pharasma, it doesn't prevent you from worshipping other deities as well.

I began to imagine a character for Carrion Crown. A nobleman, who presents himself as a diplomat and an erudite.
Oracle of Lore 1 for Cha instead of Dex to AC, Cha instead of Int for Knowledge checks and maybe later Focused Trance as an extra revelation. I like the idea that he learns everything in "Salons" and "dinners".
Then Speaker of the Palatine Eye for the rest.
He could fight and cast while in medium armor and wearing a shield and weapon!
Of course, Noble Scion(war) for Cha to Init, Steadfast personnality is along the way because I don't want to fail a will save.
The first question I have is, if I take 1 level of Sorcerer(Undead)bloodline, does the bloodline arcana works for my Bard spells too?
If so it could be very potent!
If you have feats ideas or other ideas for this kind build I would be really glad!

Hello everybody!
Some help needed!
I want to make a cavalier wielding a falcata(he's taldan), strength based and able to use precise strike.
What would be the easiest way to do that?
Maybe a swashbuckler dip(Rondolero swashbuckler)?

Hi everybody,
I was looking at the steelblood archetype for bloodrager and saw it got armor training. So I wondered if the steelblood archtype could benefit from the advanced armor training options?

Hello everybody,
I'm currently working with a dear player of mine on an inquisitor of Besmara for the skull and shackles AP(which is my favorite AP as a DM).
The results of our brainstorming so far is :

-female human inquisitor of Besmara with the heart of the fields alternative trait so that she would be a hell of a pilot.

-Sanctified slayer archetype for the roguish style and green faith marshall archetype for access to the aquatic terrain domain and spells and the ability to control aquatic creatures(cool and flavourful!.

-20pts buy: so far we go STR10,DEX16,CON14,INt10,WIS 14and CHA14.

-For feats we thought going fencing grace style, since Besmara's weapon is the rapier, the rest is open.

There are a lot of things we surely haven't thought about, and I hope you can help me find good ideas to make this scoundrel of the seas memorable!

Thanks in advance!

Hi everybody, I'm actually working on a funny build, a sacred huntmaster/Evangelist of Erastil.

And I was wondering, sacred huntmaster gives you an animal companion, lets you take a domain,so why not another companion with the animal domain (maybe the feather subdomain for the boost to perception),so why not take the druid variant multiclass, which if i'm correct(Pathfinder unchained hasn't shipped yet in France!) gives you another companion!

This would make 3 animal companions and the evangelist of Erastil is able to make a double of your strongest companion once per day for round/level!!!
I find that quite amazing and in the end you add your WIS modifier on attack and damage with bows!
So first, am I correct?
Is it viable?
And with so few feats, thanks to the wonderful VMC, what should I prioritize?

The case is simple, if you have lingering performance and use inspire courage then stop it to use a battle herald order, will the order and the bardic performance stack for the 2 rounds lingering performance work?

I've seen a lot of different opinions, and I would like a straight answer, it's not to bend the rules or to start an unproductive argument, so please, answer me!

I want to play a mage, and I have been really pleased by the Magaambyan arcanist prestige class!
So my intent is to play an elf mage, a summoner with the teleportation subschool(I just couldn't pass the 10ft teleportation as a swift action X times a day) and add the spellbiner archetype for more flexibility in spells.

So,for the moment, the build is:
Elf mage(summoner/spellbinder)5/ Magaambyan arcanist 10.
Attributes(20 points buy):
STR10,DEX16,CON12,INT18,WIS10,CHA10.

Any advice about feats?
I have the idea of making him an expert of summoning good monsters and wanted to know if it is any good, if the feats starlight summons and the like are any good.
Please feel free to give me any advice or comment.

Can half-elves qualify for elven racial archetypes?
I have the idea of an half-elven oracle of life with the ancient lorekeeper archtype,we're going to play the Carrion Crown AP and it looks like a good idea to have a character able to channel energy than lay waste on his enemies with fireballs!

We're going to play the Carrion crown AP, and one of my player is going to play an pharasmin oracle, we've been searching through all the mysteries and while Ancestor was interesting, Occultism took her fancy, she wants to be an occult investigator, not much into melee, more of a caster type.
So, here we are!
She doesn't know exactly which revelations are the best for her to take and the feats that are the best for a caster oracle, we've been looking at the Eldritch heritage(Arcane) chain, cause the idea of having a Nosoi as a familiar seems flavourful!
I heard of a feat that helped cast divinations without having to use costly material components, which would be good for augury, divination and the like!
If any of you had good ideas, feel free to help, me and my player would be grateful!

Has anyone here already played a skirmisher?
Is it any good?
What kind of hunter tricks would you recommend?
I have a player at my table who plays a ranger(freebooter) and who, for roleplay sake (which is fine for me) doesn't want to use spells (he's a superstitious former slave), so we went for the skirmisher and we would like to have some kind of back up on this archetype.
Thanks all!

SPOILERS INCLUDED
So,my players just got on the man's promise, all 6 of them.
Four of them were already sailors pressganged on the wormwood and the two others were prisonners on the man's promise the rahadoumi wanted to sell to Bloodcove slavers.
My players had already befriended a lot of the sailors of the wormwood, even Syl Lonegan and Tam Tate,so when they got on the Man's Promise they already had a numeric advantage Plugg and Scourge were not aware of!
Then they find Plugg is changing ways, the seasinger bard with a knowledge(geography) and knowledge(local) checks finds he's heading for Rickety's squibs.
So next morning the player's are assigned their day job and the pistolero, one of the 2 new players starts complaining about his job, feeling he doesn't get used at his fullest and should be a rigger instead of swabbing the deck. Plugg comesand taunts him, wanting to teach him a lesson, our samurai intervenes, trying to protect the gunslinger and as an honorable Tian declares a duel with Plugg. Plugg, overconfident(afterall,he's level 5 and the samurai is level 2) accepts.
Bad idea!
3 Rounds and a critical with a katana later, plugg lies in blood, the samurai unarmed and Scourge bludgeoned to death as the rest of the team took care of him and Sandara Quinn and the other allies of the group held Plugg's sympathisers.
Poor Plugg indead!

Just a little post to get your impressions on this prestige class.
Did you play any?
What's the most entertaining build you can make with it?
And so on...

I'm going to start the Ap next week and as I read once again the wormwood mutiny and scrolled through the wonderfully written NPCs I came across this sentence in fihguts's background saying that he was fired from the lobster's armor for inapropriate behaviour with his assistant and thought:
Ohohoh! Fishguts is gay!
Am I overlooking this or did you think the same?
Because in a way it would make sense, fishguts, hating himself is in a spiral of self-destruction,alcohol,bad hygiena...
And I was thinking about Captain Harrigan knowing it and using it against him just by making the information leak to Plugg and Scourge to make his life miserable, the captain has his own cruel amusements after all!
What do you think about it, does it make sense and does it add anything to this already wonderful story?

I'm preparing the skull and shackles campaign and as always I'm creating a few characters for my players to take if they don't want to build one, which sometimes happen!

Right now I have a concept:the easy smile swashbucling hero and three contenders for the role.
-The fighter(corsair)/rogue(pirate)heading towards duelist.
-The gunslinger(pistolero)switch hitter with dervish dance.
And finally the cavalier(musketeer/order of the cocatrickse)!
which one of these would you find the more efficient and/or the funniest to play?
Thanks for the replies!

I'm currently preparing the skull andshackles campaign and one of my players is eager to play a bonuwat ranger with the freebooter and skirmisher archetypes which suits well the pirate-theme of the campaign.
Is attributes are:
STR 16
DEX 14
CON 14
INT 10
WIS 12
CHA 10
And we would be both pleased to see what kind of feats you would advise him to take!
Oh! and he plans to go two-weapon fighting, hacking and slashing through hordes of ugly pirates!
I see tons of peg legs coming!

Looking at the rules for stacking archetypes I was wondering if I could add the sound striker archetype to a chelish diva since they have a class ability in common which both replace inspire competence?

I think the prima donna in armor who sings devastating arias can be quite efficient, don't you?
