I am definitely interested. I am thinking about a halfling ranger who is affiliated with the Emerald Enclave; if that doesn't work he could also have ties to the Harpers. I'll put something together as soon as I can.

Definitely interested! I am thinking a sorcerer might be fun for this. I'll start putting someone together.

1184: Regeneration Gap.

I was wondering if Rich was going to address this!

I'd be glad to draw up a replacement character if you'd like. If there are any parameters you'd like me to work within (crunch or fluff), just let me know.

1179: Indefinite Accommodations.

"...the occasional limping elf." Heh heh.

1178: Rock Opera.

1174: Fun for the Whole Family.

4d6 ⇒ (4, 3, 2, 2) = 11 9
4d6 ⇒ (5, 1, 5, 2) = 13 12
4d6 ⇒ (6, 4, 6, 6) = 22 18
4d6 ⇒ (2, 5, 3, 1) = 11 10
4d6 ⇒ (2, 4, 6, 4) = 16 10
4d6 ⇒ (6, 2, 1, 6) = 15 14

I am working on updating some characters for other campaigns, but when I finish that I'll see what I can do with that 18. :)

I'm working on a human wizard. Are there any recommendations on languages to take?

Silver 1d10 ⇒ 9. So, is the silver in addition to the 20gp he gets as a sage, or instead of?

Rolls:
4d6 ⇒ (5, 4, 1, 1) = 1110
4d6 ⇒ (3, 5, 2, 5) = 1513
4d6 ⇒ (3, 3, 4, 5) = 1512
4d6 ⇒ (5, 2, 1, 2) = 109
4d6 ⇒ (5, 4, 1, 4) = 1413
4d6 ⇒ (5, 5, 5, 2) = 1715
4d6 ⇒ (3, 2, 4, 1) = 109
4d6 ⇒ (5, 2, 6, 6) = 1917

Array would be 17, 15, 13, 13, 12, 10.

I am in a Pathfinder Rappan Athuk game, but I would love a chance to play a 5e character. If that doesn't concern you, I will see what I can come up with.

Stay safe! Also dang why is North America getting all the inclement and cold weather? Japan has been having the most mild winter in a looooonnnnnng time.

We had been too. (When I say we, I live in the Puget Sound region where Paizo is headquartered). In January, we had weeks of sunny days with temperatures in the 60's or 70's F. That was very unseasonable for us; it is usually much colder with plenty of rain and some light snow. Then we got this unusually heavy snowfall.

Or Durkon's player's younger sibling came to game night, and they had to give him something to play.

Well, I guess they were fired instead of lost.
“Fired,” get it? Fire damage? Ugh, not even a groan or an eye roll response...

I think this is just a clear case of "let he who is without sin cast the first stone." When it comes to cringe worthy jokes, I am in no position to be casting stones.

Hmm. Earlier depicts on Snarl included purple but not yellow. I wonder if Rich came up with this since those earlier strips.

Congratulations! Hello Baby Genevive, good bye Sleep! :)

New strip is up! 1135: OMG

I've downloaded it, but I haven't really looked at it yet. I'll be curious to see what other longtime players have to say about it. Unless one of my games here on the boards switches over, I probably won't. I have one game IRL, and that is D&D 5e. I will still read through it when I get a chance though. Just in case one of my games here does switch, and also out of curiosity about my favorite hobby.

Hilgya is probably a high enough level to bring Durkon back. I would say she counts as Durkon's personal rival, so she is at least as high a level of cleric as he is.

That got answered quick.

Sometimes I think Rich must read our comments here.

Awesome. Even greater reach. Yeah that's all we need. A giant with, like, 50' reach. Good times. :P

"I don't have to outrun the giant, I just have to outrun the dwarf!" :)

Yeah, Kriger's the one that convinced the paladin to put a brothel in their town. I don't see that happening.

But then, what's my excuse.

Greetings Navior.

Greetings markofbane.
I look forward to gaming with anyone recommended by Joana.

Thank you! I am working on Mahath, an evoker, to join the fray. I will get him posted here for review as soon as I can.

Edit: In his backstory, I have him tied to Agrit Staginsdar with the dwarf-trained trait.

Level 2 and 3 hit points 2d6 ⇒ (6, 6) = 12

Do you want us to use wealth by level, or another amount for gear?

Javell DeLeon wrote:
Wait a minute! Nobody said anything about bringing these scoundrels in here. Great, there goes the neighborhood. ;)

It's okay. The neighborhood was a bit dodgy to begin with. ;)

Hey, Navoir! Long time! Let me know if you end up going with the witch, and I'll work up something to round out the team. Thanks for the invitation!

Here's Tragershen, the build I had in mind for a wizard. He's an elven wizard (diviner, foresight). I'll flush out equipment and background when we nail down some of the other campaign details.

I'll work on the other build I had in mind as well.

I was thinking a wizard, or a investigator/magus (who would work a lot like a rogue). The beauty of having up to six players is a little more freedom to overlap in areas.

Lazyclownfish wrote:

I would definitely be up for this. I especially like the idea of cooperatively forming the group with synergy and possibly tied backstories if you guys are up for it.

I'm hoping to play a 9 level spell caster but otherwise I'm very flexible.

Were you thinking a common race or religion? Or a common home town/city? I am good going with either linked backgrounds or not.

Were you thinking divine or arcane for a caster?

If you have room, I would love to get in on a Rappan Athuk campaign!

Poncho ? Heading somewhere cold and North and close to Team X ?

I took it more that whatever the woman's host had it mind, it would be so gory that he'd want a poncho, like sitting in the front row of a Ghallager show.

Jocularity is always refreshing!

4d6 ⇒ (3, 5, 6, 6) = 20 = 17
4d6 ⇒ (6, 3, 4, 1) = 14 = 13
4d6 ⇒ (4, 4, 5, 5) = 18 = 14
4d6 ⇒ (6, 2, 4, 4) = 16 = 14
4d6 ⇒ (3, 3, 3, 6) = 15 = 11
4d6 ⇒ (4, 5, 5, 2) = 16 = 14

Hey, pretty good! Let me see what I can do with that.

That gives me: 18, 18, 16, 16, 13, 13.

So many possibilities! I think I'll look at an arcane caster of some sort. Would Dugmaren Brightmantle be available as a deity?

Working on an evoker wizard.

Hit points for second level 1d6 + 0 ⇒ (3) + 0 = 3

Would I be allowed to scribe scrolls before the start if picked for the game?

So, that means V is 17th level. Interesting.

When you described her as the "new" dwarf, it made me wonder if she'll be taking Durkon's place as a regular on the team.

I am PFS curious, but I haven't had time to look into it.

We talked to my sister-in-law yesterday (Fort Myers). Cell phone service has been spotty for them (we had dropped calls several times during the conversation). They are, of course, still without power from the grid, but my brother-in-law has a generator set up that is keeping the refrigerator going and a small AC window unit for one of the bedrooms. The house seems to have fared okay. The most significant thing was a tree falling and hitting one of their cars. They haven't been out to their places of employment to see how they fared.

I do miss some of the tree jokes. Those were more innocent times.

It sounds like my family in Fort Myers made it through okay so far. No one was hurt. All of their cars were damaged, one of which is probably totaled. Now we are waiting to see if the storm surge comes in tonight or tomorrow morning.

I'm glad it seems to be losing some intensity as it goes north.

Amby, love, I hope you and others on the Gulf coast have gotten the f%%! outta there.

I'm in Lee County about 20 miles inland from Sanibel, sheltering in place with my parents. We have the windows shuttered on the north and west sides of their house, plenty of necessities (food/water, candles/flashlights, first aid, generator, etc.). Getting a bit breezy out and sporadic raining now. Officials called for mandatory evacuations in their area just this morning, but it was too late (and expensive) to leave. My parents wouldn't leave anyway, and I won't leave them here alone.

Sounds like you are a bit inland from my brother-in-law, sister-in-law and nieces. They couldn't evacuate because one of my nieces was in the hospital until yesterday. They've got a half dozen pets they are sheltering in place with. They've done as much preparations as they could, but we are still worried sick.
We're all rooting for them to emerge unscathed!

Thank you. And I'll include my Paizo family in my prayers too.

We talked to my brother-in-law a little earlier, and they seem as ready as can be. He's the type of guy that's a little rough around the edges, but he's exactly the guy I'd want him at my back in an emergency. Now its about waiting to see what happens.

Yep, I just spent a while trying to think of what to type next. I'm speechless.
