Why did I like #7 so much? I have a letter to the editors that was published in this issue, 'Speaking With Authority'. I was putting the kaposh on a tirade by a parent a couple issues before who complained about bad guys being featured in that issue. He worried his kid would be corrupted by the Dark Side, apparently. I was a teacher at that time and needed to say something about how good and evil have been handled in literature since time immemorial.
But, as they always say, I digress.
Star Wars Gamer did not survive to an 11th issue, and went out of publication. I was truly disappointed. I had seen several of my favorite gaming magazines die in my time, and this one made me particularly sad.
This one's on clearance. Buy it, and read my letter. :)
