I've got an Esoteric and just hit level 5. I am having a bit of trouble figuring out what to pick as my Tattooed Spell.

So far I have it narrowed down to a more utility spell over some sort of attack spell.

Shield
Blur
Invisibility

I can post the rest of my spell list if anyone needs/wants to see it.

Any help is appreciated.

I'm looking for templates/options for either PCs or NPCs for an upcoming campaign, and can't find exactly what I'm looking for. I can find a Lycanthrope for mammals and Entothrope for insects, but can't find rebuild rules or a template for birds. Anyone know of something that would fit, or should I just attempt to use a modified lycanthrope version?

I've searched high and low for an answer on this and can't find a conclusive ruling.

Does Wealthy Dabbler allow you to cast Arcane spells or does it function like a Spell-like Ability?

For reference:

Wealthy Dabbler (Regional): You study magic at one
of Taldor’s many social clubs, wowing your friends with
your expertise in the simplest of magical exploits. Select
two non-harmful arcane cantrips. You can cast these two
cantrips once per day each (caster level 1st). If you have
levels in a class that can cast these cantrips, your caster
level for these cantrips is equal to that class level.

I'm asking because I would like to know if this would qualify for Arcane Strike or not. If it does grant the ability to cast arcane spells, great, if not, just ok. Trying to find a solid resolution to this question.

I'm curious as to what level the spells the witchguard gains are at? does he gain them all at once and can cast them if prepared normally? What about spells that don't fall onto the ranger spell list? Are they cast at his current level? Or are they added as a 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th level spell to his list, in the order they appear?

I'm somewhat new to PF and want to wrap my head around this as I want to play this archetype.

Quoted for context.

Patron (Su)

A witchguard learns something of arcane magic from the witches he defends. At 4th level, when a witchguard gains the ability to cast spells, he must also select a patron, as the witch class feature. This patron is usually the same as the patron of the witch he is sworn to protect, but the witchguard may choose any patron. The witchguard adds the first four spells from his patron’s spell list to his ranger spell list. The witchguard cannot cast patron spells of a level he is unable to cast.
