Silver Crusade

Hey all, here's a partial build that I put together to see how high of a perception score I could build with only the Paizo PRD. I call it a partial build because it only includes the important things to get the high score and a couple minor things to make life easier.

Here she is:
Pam the Perceptive
Half-elf Ranger 17/Fighter (Archer) 2/Druid 1 (Eagle Domain)

Starting abilites:

STR 10
DEX 13
CON 12
INT 12
WIS 18 +2 racial => 20
CHA 7

Eyes of the city trait:
perception is CS, +1 trait bonus

Running total: 1

At level 20:

--- Boosting Wisdom ---:

Base:
..... +5 to wis (level bonuses)
Items:
..... headband of inspired wisdom: +6 enhancement wis (36k gp)
..... Tome of understanding: +5 inherent to wis (137.5k gp)

[total wis 36 => +13 bonus]

Running total: 14

--- Boosting Perception ---:

base:
..... ranks: 20
..... Class skill: +3
..... keen senses: perception +2 racial bonus
feats:
..... Alertness: +4 on perception (have at lest 10 ranks)
..... Skill focus (perception): +6 on perception (have at least 10 ranks)
..... Sharp senses: perception +4 racial bonus
..... Eagle eyes: ignore up to -5 perception penalty due to distance.
..... uncanny alertness: +1 to perception and sense motive, +2 resist charm and sleep effects
items:
..... Lenses of detection: +5 competence bonus to perception (3.5k)
Spells:
..... Acute senses: +30 enhancement to perception (1 min./lvl)
Class Features:
..... Favored Enemy: perception bonus array: +8/+2/+2/+2
..... Shifter's Blessing: +10 to perception (lvl + WIS rounds/day)

[total bonus: 43 (static) + 40 (limited rounds) + 8 (favored enemy) => 43-91]

Running total: 57-105

Level replacements from full Ranger:

Fighter (archer):
..... L2: +1 untyped
Druid (Eagle domain):
..... L1: hawk familiar +3 to perception in bright light. Hawkeye: +1 (LVL/2) to perception.

If you want to, you drop one of the above and take a dip into Wizard for the following benefits.
Wizard:
..... L1: owl/hawk +3 to perception in dim/bright light
..... L3: can cast second level spells (see invisibility fits into this build)

Running total: 59-110

Final: 1d20 + 59-110

Resources Used:
Traits used: 1/2
Feats used: 5/10
WBL used: 177k/880k gp (20%)
Magic item slots used: 2/11 (22%)

Best conditions: bright light (or dim for wizard with an owl companion), Acute Senses cast, shifted (Form of the eagle), searching for favored enemy.

You might also be able to slip in an extra +4 from aid another depending on the situation and if both your animal companion and familiar roll well.

-------------------
I'm not sure on the favored enemy if the first favored enemy chosen automatically gives a +4 bonus. The wording says "at every interval" so I'm assuming here that it's only a +2. Let me know if this is wrong.
