Zavra grits her teeth, snarling at the man that is cutting down her friends. She throws a bomb hard at the ground between the standing man and his two downed allies, precisely keeping the splash from effecting Okzat.

Bomb at ground (AC5): 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (16) + 6 = 22
Splash (DC18): 1 + 8 + 1 = 10

Surprised, confused and in pain, Zavra rolls to her feet. She takes a brief moment to take stock of the battle as a wand springs into her hand.

CLW: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (8) + 1 = 9

Seeing the opportunity, as all the enemies line up nicely, Zavra chucks a bomb at Orange.

Bomb: 1d20 + 5 + 1 ⇒ (14) + 5 + 1 = 20
Damage: 1d6 + 6 + 2 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 6 + 2 + 1 = 10
Splash (DC 18): 1 + 6 + 2 + 1 = 10

Hoping they have yet to see her, and happy for the opportunity to prepare just a bit more, Zavra slugs back an extract of reduce person. She remains in place, dropping her backpack to the ground and keeping close to the pile of crates, maintaining some cover from the front door.

Those that may have been watching are confused a bit when Zavra drinks the bottle they thought was a bomb...

As the Cognatogen takes effect, her skin seems to harden and the weight of her backpack sinks her shoulders a bit more. She drops the bag to the ground.

Sorry I have been checked out on this. The delay with Skal Con and craziness at work has ruined my routine in checking this over. I also have no access to move tokens and can only see half of the map, so I don't really have any effective way to assist in the strategy of this encounter.

I can't see anything on the screen above door C, But I am good with Lya's plan. I have 50' of rope (knotted and tied to a grappling hook). With this makeshift pulley system, Zavra can continue to help move whichever boxes we determine make sense.

Also not strong enough to move the large crates, Zavra starts working on the lift. She also tucks the Spider vial into her belt, knowing that she can disperse the swarm if it gets out of control.

Eager to accept the invitation, Zavra starts opening boxes to see what equipment may be of use.

About to start leaping over boxes, Zavra remembers hearing that Ancel could help them squeeze through. She tries it out.

Escape Artist: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (14) + 2 = 16

Zavra looks around, obviously confused as to why everyone is running.

SM: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (18) + 1 = 19

Zavra smiles at the guards, her charm exceeding even that of a dodo bird.

Diplomacy: 1d20 - 2 ⇒ (7) - 2 = 5

Zavra rapid flips through her blue book for some form of information about the black market for pearls around town.

Know Local: 1d20 + 14 + 2 ⇒ (13) + 14 + 2 = 29

She consults her notes and sketches regarding the layout of the bar, movements of the bartender, and interesting places that he looks that don't seem focused on his actual activities, hoping to get some clue where he may be stashing any illicit goods.

Perception: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (18) + 6 = 24

Assuming she has a clue of where to look, she watches for an opportunity for a distraction to slide out of sight and attempt to help Kiv break into any locked conveyance that may hold the false goods.

Disable Device, assist: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (2) + 6 = 8

Zavra quietly takes a seat at a corner table, with a good view of the entire main room of the bar. She pulls out a notebook and quill and starts scrawling notes, paying careful attention to the room, it's occupants and the conversation.

Zavra keeps her eyes open, trailing a couple steps behind the leaders and tucking a few of her vials aside out of notice.

"This kind of seems like Lya and Ancel's thing. I'll keep quiet and take notes, just in case anything interesting comes up." she pulls out her notebook, reviewing the information they got from their contact, while making sure nothing distinguishes the group as Pathfinders.

One more poke CLW: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 1 = 6

Zavra flips through the alchemists notes, but can not decipher his scrawling.

"Anyone speak whatever language this is?", she asks as she sets it aside for more interesting items.

She refills the spaces on her belt with two acid flasks, tucks the formulae book into her backpack and packs up anything missing back into the portable lab. Before she is done, she has returned to normal size. The extra height and mass seems to do little to help the petite Orc in trying to haul her backpack and newly acquired chemistry set through the sewers.

Bring it up IC. Zavra gets a little out of control in fights. In Kaer Maga when you get into a fight, only one person survives.

20 Int at Level 1, +4 on my Cognatogen for 20 min. That is now used for the day, but it sounded like we have some diplomacy plans following, so this was a good time to use it.

+9 from Lya. Ancel should be at 8/9.

Zavra taps herself with her wand.

CLW: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4

With no other immediate requests, and Lya rushing around to patch everyone up, the half Orc is quickly distracted by the wealth of supplies and unlabeled vials.

"Well done Bert!", she reaches deep into a secure pouch to toss him a pickle as she picks up the vial he uncovered. She heads over to the work table, lining up the other unmarked vials and a few useful tools to help in identifying the contents.

Identify Bert's bottle: 1d20 + 13 + 2 ⇒ (19) + 13 + 2 = 34
Identify 2 unmarked bottles: 1d20 + 13 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 13 + 2 = 19

Zavra will quickly run around to tend to her allies, realizing that several of the burn wounds were from her bombs or something very similar. She stays quite quiet during this time.

Everyone that wants it, roll a CLW wand charge from my stick.

Zavra grits her teeth in pain from the fire as it burns into the cracks in her armor. The grimace quickly turns into a snarl of rage. She pulls another acid flask, attempting to finish the job.

Targetting the corner to splash Laszo again

Acid Flask (touch DC5): 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (7) + 6 = 13
Splash Dmg: 1 + 8 = 9

She follows with a step toward the alchemist, winding up a spiked fist in challenge.

Recognizing the desperate situation her allies are in, Zavra charges forward to distract her adversary.

Moving forward 3 spaces, intending to draw fire from her allies, without the opportunity for the other alchemist to hit multiple targets with splash. She throws an acid flask at the feet of Laszo, splashing him and ensuring he shields Kiv with his body.
Acid (touch DC5): 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (10) + 6 = 16
Splash: 1 + 8 = 9

Seeing the opening, Zavra dodges past the rattled addict, charging further into the hallway toward Lazso. 5 spaces forward if possible

She hurls a bomb directly at the deranged alchemist, "Let's see how you like a bit of your own medicine!", she screams.

Bomb (touch): 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (8) + 6 = 14
Dmg (fire): 1d6 + 9 ⇒ (4) + 9 = 13

What about the splash to teal? "Precise bombs: Whenever the alchemist throws a bomb, he can select a number of squares equal to his Intelligence modifier that are not affected by the splash damage from his bombs. If the bomb misses, this discovery has no effect."

Zavra looks a bit confused by Lya's comment.

"I did the calculations, it couldn't kill him... of course, I also thought he would have dodged that," she begins to move forward to aid the monk, but is halted as more beetles join the fray. Wide eyed, she throws another bomb.

Targetting the intersection behind red and yellow for splash.

Up is good for me.

Seeing the swarm of beetles charging and flashing their distracting lights, Zavra risks the groping hands of the junkies.

Not accepting raging song. Moving 2 steps forward in front of Kiv.

She pulls a thick vial from her belt, glaring at the junkies as she preps the bomb.

"You want some of this? Go get it!"

She hurls the bomb at the center bug, hoping to splash the rest of the beetles and not overly concerned with the monk's ability to avoid the attack.

How should we be notating where we are moving? I have mentioned it in three separate posts, but am not getting any closer. I get the impression that these figures are supposed to be mobile, but I have no ability to move them myself.

Ok, then assume my throw is a long shot at the closest bug. Step in front of Ancel and chuck it. Miss at that range. Splash damage is one less, not in point blank.

Do we need to adjust all of our stats whenever we are buffed? Reduce person would effect my Initiative, AC, attack, saves, etc. I can do that, just need to know. My Int based skills are effected dramatically by Cognatogen.

Zavra, who is currently across the sewage just south of Ancel sees the commotion begin and the gnomes magical spray of light illuminate their prey. She steps around the corner, in front of the skald. Her eyes narrow in contempt at the approaching filth and lobs a bomb at the nearby wretches.

"Flee for your lives!", she screams at the addicts.

Looking around at the approaching addicts, Zavra glances over at Prizm and Lya. Confident that they will be able to avoid a confrontation, she carefully traverses the gap, taking a brief run and jumping across next to Ancel.

Acrobatics: 1d20 + 4 - 2 ⇒ (14) + 4 - 2 = 16

She lands relatively gracefully, then stays quietly out of sight.

Stealth: 1d20 + 3 + 4 ⇒ (9) + 3 + 4 = 16

Position is good. When they move to enter the sewers, Zavra downs an Ant Halu extract, prepping for a potential fight or at least investigation with an Int Cognatogen and Reduce Person extract.

Zavra seems to see comfortably in the dark, shrinking away from the lights and using the darkness to her advantage. When they draw close to the expected target and see evidence of the lab, she quietly slips out a few prepped vials and drinks their contents.

She carefully scans the room for movement or traps.

Perception: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (16) + 6 = 22

Zavra returns, out of breath, about an hour later. She holds up a Wayfinder, victoriously. "They told me I could get one of these anytime after my confirmation, but I haven't been on a mission yet that we needed a compass. I'll need to wait until we get back to have my initials carved into in. Oh, and I grabbed some other supplies!" she rummages through her bag and pulls out a jar of fat pickles, opens it and tosses one to Bert.

Zavra beams, "Well then, I absolutely need one! No one has ever put it like that before.". Without another word, she downs an extract (ant haul), easily lifts her bag onto her back, and trots off toward the grand lodge.

"Be right back!" she hollers as she turns briefly to salute at the end of the gangplank.

Zavra adjusts the bag she was carrying. "I'm ready! Unless you are saying I need to bring a wayfinder, if so I can run back to the lodge and pick one up. I haven't really called in any favors other than this wand.", she pats carved aspen stick readily at her hip.

"Anyone have maps of Diobel? I could grab a blue book while I am there."

What knowledges are appropriate at this time? Anything for information on Whip?

Zavra's eyes go wide as she reads over the last piece of the letter, "a hidden alchemist lab under the city? I think that should be the first stop!", she considers for a moment that maybe she seems a bit too eager. "If we can shut down the manufacturer, we could set them months, or even years behind in their production and research, even if we were unsuccessful at the other tasks."

"If we hit the lab early in the morning, we would still have time for the other two tasks on Oathday. Plus, assuming Laszo is either an Alchemist or Wizard, he may not have had a chance to prepare his extracts or spells for the day yet."

After a bit of awkward silence following the comment on her legs, Zavra is happy for the distraction. She approaches Ancel, knees locked so as not to draw further attention.

"It's a pleasure to meet you Mr. Cerfbeer... Le Cerfbeer, sir. I am Zavra.", she reaches out a hand to shake his, dropping the book tucked under her arm. Quickly picking it up, a fur hat and undergarments fall out of her backpack. She allows her knees to bend as she quickly scrambles to gather her things, ending with a hasty half curtesy while her hands are full.

"Hello Prizm! Hello Bert! Hello Lya!", she looks around to see if she is missing anyone, "Hello quiet Oread guy!", she directs to Okzat, whom she is pretty certain has never spoken while she is around. "I sometimes forget who I have actually met in the society, and who I think I met, but really didn't because someone lost the paperwork."

A nearby flower vendor shouts out as a young woman bumps into his cart, nearly toppling several pots. "Oh my! So sorry! I didn't see you there." Zavra exclaims. Her hands are full, one with a map of the city, the other clutching a note, while she holds a book under her arm and carries a backpack that seems to heavy for her. The half Orc wears ill fitting leather lamellar covered with numerous belts and bandoliers holding various potions, pouches and other containers.

"Do you know where I can find... Oh! There they are!", she leaves the flustered merchant and waves at the other Pathfinders, tripping over a loose stone and losing her book. It takes her a few moments of readjusting her armor, bag and papers and gathering her belongings before she can finally approach. "Hey everyone! I'm here. Am I late?

Satisfied that the threat against Augusta has passed, Zavra turns her attention to Fhlangorn and his adversary. Not finding a clear line of attack, she pulls a wand to heal the dwarf instead.

Cure Light Wounds: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 1 = 7

Seeing that Augusta is in trouble, Zavra tries to eliminate the weasels.

Moving back down the hallway, behind Fhlangorn. Triggering an AOO if the Badger has Combat Reflexes. Tossing an alchemist fire 25 ft to splash the weasels from the back. Just noticed, only bombs provide the reflex save for half dmg. I will assume the last one was a bomb, this one will not provide a save.

Suddenly shorter and more nimble, Zavra breezes past her allies, ready to act. As she gets to Fhlangorn she stops, seeing Augusta already backing away.

Are the objects to the south impeding movement? If not, I will step into the room in the SE corner. If so, I will stop, briefly squeezing with the dwarf. Regardless...

She sees the source of the taunting and quickly muffles her monologue with a vial of alchemists fire at her feet, hoping to drive the woman back from the entrance.
