The intention of using the dagger as a compass is interesting, while hexploration itself feels unnecessarily complicated and silly to me. Combats are challenging and can be deadly for some groups. And, there should be an illustration for Star the automaton, thought it was a stuck clockwork turtle or something.
This scene is so excellent. It took me almost twice as long as other PFS scenarios to prepare the five linnorms and over 5 hours to run it with my players. It was all worth it. The reason for not rating a 5-star is that event 3 is unnecessarily long and the battles are jokes.
The Grim Rictus robbers perform a morality test that I find interesting. Otherwise, the scenario is a bit mediocre, with too many combat encounters and too few challenges. The final scene was heroic, but the battle itself quickly bored my players.
There are too many boxed texts as introductions to future scenarios, which are too long and don't make sense to current players. Searching the library is a boring skill check hell. One of the few pros is that the NPCs are funny.
