Before getting in a vehicle Wyrd inquires if he can inspect the goods...you know just to rule out that like in one of those old heist vids the goods have already been stolen

This might sound like I'm being greedy..but what's stopping us from using the bikes that are offered us and still taking our own cruiser?

Or realistically one bike with a driver and a gunner and the rest in the cruiser.

Going by what I know from how (starship) combat normally goes the mechanically best option will most likely be to stick everyone in the same vehicle with the best driver, the most armor/cover (I agree with Vedrir; guys on moterbikes don't last long ;) )and shoot as many guns as we can at the same time at the enemy....but in my mind having 2 different vehicles to flank something and shoot at it from 2 sides and switch positions during a high speed chase just sounds...I don't know, cooler?

In my mind a motor bike would be faster and more maneuverable and might be handy if we need to chase after someone as opposed to just shooting them down...but a cruiser is actually faster then a bike, a bike provides no cover and doesn't have an auto pilot

...you know, I think I talked myself out of wanting to be on a motor bike while writing this.

I can't remember..did we take a vehicle during one of our expeditions and kept it? I think remember it came up, but I can't remember if we actually did it

It's got to be a nightmare to monitor 4 other people to see if they are thinking messages towards you while also relaying those messages to the rest of the party since this isn't a groupsapp but 4 separate chat messages which only work 1 at a time

I was wondering if there would be a point in Wyrd continuing his new performance career...is there a backstage area we could have access to that normal guest can't get into where we can find a nice observation spot to look out for the person we are searching for?

Assuming Wyd makes it through the audition and onto the stage

Using his new vantage point Wyrd keeps an eye our for our "mark" while giving an outstanding performance. Outstanding in the sense that it stands out, not necessarily for being good but it's something most patrons will remember for some time to come.

Wyrd cough and then let's out an unnatural sound from his vocal cords

To add to the haunting sound that escape his mouth Wyrd adds some mystical touches to his performance by having a a glowing moth appear from some deeper shadows and random stage items fly and circle around him and the glowing moth hile twirling around on stage and altering his appearance which each twist.

Not sure how this would game wise, but using psychokentic hand to move objects around, solarion crystal to get a glowing crystal (possibly shooting colds orbs into nothing in the air allthough I don't think that's technically not allowed) and using racial darkness ability for added theatrical impact[and I have reconfigurable clothingso I can change my clothes as a move action into 5 different versions

If multiple checks will be needed for longer performance..can I take 10? That would be a consistent 24 without any bonuses

Since I don't think there's a perform skill anymore...how do you (pretend to) be a band in Starfinder? Other then actually having a profession that let's you do that...bluff? or diplomacy? pure charisma check?

If so, Charming Veneer's all around and we'll try to do something for 10 minutes without making too big of a fool of our selves? ;)

I do recommend 1 or 2 of us not being on stage btw..just in case we spot our "mark" and need to follow without leaping from the stage and drawing more attention to ourselves.

Considering the options to find someone Wyrd decides that everyone - not sure what a rest room for androids and other mechanical creations would entail - at some point should use the the restroom don't they, so he decides to check it out and see if there's any way to start a stake out without appearing super creepy.

Wyrd is slightly disappointed to not spot the person he's checking for but is impressed by the options provided for various species within

Hearing the price a seed would fetch Wyrd starts to think of what he could do with that type of money before thinking back to what Vedrir mentioned about getting a base and growing our own defenses.

I'm with Vedrir on this one...it doesn't make sense that as far I understand that a rival would allow some random people they've never met (us) to borrow there most valuable tool.

I have the sneaking suspicion that this is the ship we rescued and investigated in the first book and we can claim some sort of salvage dips on it..but otherwise I can't see why anyone would loan us their ship just cause we ask nicely

I've been a bit lax in posting this past week. Work got a bit nuts and I was able to keep up with reading but I was unable to sit down behind a keyboard and write a meaning full post till now.

I'd still like to continue with the next book. Looking forward to finding out how the story continues.

About the story so far..I'll admit I was hoping for a bit more about the ship we found that came out of the sun/portal. To me it feels a bit like 2 separate stories as opposed to one longer one. Maybe I'm just missing the overall connection and it will become more clear in the next book(s). But I realy enjoy our group and how we handle (or try to handle at least) the encounters we have.

Unsure on what to do to detect the now dissapeared foe Wyrd pulls out his own healing serum and moves next to the Puzzle

Moving along the green line in case I bump into someone I can't see..also I think you can draw something while moving and use it at the end of movement so if I can I'l inject Puzzle with the serum

I think this is for the current combat and is the damage from the cold grenade. Wyrd also has resist 5 cold thanks to him being a Tiefling.

I still have 8 damage from a previous fight, but so far Wyrd hasn't taken any damage during this fight.
