The Silver Leaf, the tavern closest to the gates of the city was buzzing with activity, more then it has ever been. Those who may have called the city home would take notice that the tavern was more lively than ever and it was all due to the gossip that filled the town. The Hands of Fate were coming to the city, on their way to a deep expedition to Bal Darul, the home of the dwarves in the Free Lands.

You heard of their exploits, their heroism. Saving the town of Elexsa from Stibewall's armies, Aviatra from the blight that threatened the entire society, and assisting the Fremen Guard with destroying a bandit's hideout. Rumors were abundant that they were seeking fresh recruits, that they just purchased a large plot of land that they aim to settle. There was general excitement for the possibilities of joining such a distinguished small elite force that is already creating a name for themselves. There is even a rumor that the general of the Fremen Guard is with them, Vuld Whitepeak!

Aviatra Edge a usually calm city was absolutely buzzing with excitement and activity as strangers, friends, and allies were gathering for the arrival of the party. Minstrals were singing, instruments filling the air with upbeat music and plenty of ale and food were being distributed. The Silver Leaf had to open up their front courtyard and balconies to patrons as they were simply overflowing.

The world of Kodaimo grows dangerous every day. Kingdoms are clashing over ancient territory disputes that date back to the founding days. Tension is growing and skirmishes are exploding across all the borders of the Noxia Dynasty. Rumors mention similar situations exploding across the other territories that claim the lands beyond. Tales of the roads becoming incredibly dangerous, the wilderness becoming overrun with beasts and monsters and small outlying villages being sacked, burn, or pillaged are abound. Some say it the wilderness monsters becoming more active due to the inability of the military and guard to react, but others say something more sinister is at work, though many say those are tall tales and are those of the doomsayers and not to be heeded.

Among your travels, you’ve seen and heard many rumors and tales to the point that you couldn’t even tell what was true or not. Too many tales to keep track of, too many rumors to try and figure out.

You find yourself in the walled town of Elexsa, finding yourself finding at least a safe haven in your travels. Where ever you were going you ended up finding the ‘Sleepy Giant Inn’ a place to rest your weary head. It is only dawn as you drag yourself out of your bed and stumble down the stairs of the large inn, being beckoned by the smell of eggs and bacon. Plopping yourself down at the table you order up a simple breakfast with the sweet smell of the Beruvian Roasted Beans.

The food seems to be the only comfort you can take in while the town remains under siege. You're not sure how you can help so you keep yourself to your food for the moment and the others within the tavern.

With that out of the way, I want to invite everyone to join me in a campaign that will see us all the way to the 20th level! It's almost a back to basics campaign! If you've seen Critical Role, the game will play similar to theirs as there will be a focus on Roleplay more then encounters.

The game will be based in Discord (text based, no voice), utilizing Roll20 for tactical maps. I've been finding this combination works incredibly well for me to GM and has seen massive success in the other campaigns I'm running in this combination. The game will always be running, much like the forums play by post, and operates on the same idea, but there will be scheduled sessions where we all will sit and enjoy the game together!

You were blindfolded, recent inductee to the Covenant. The black signal reached out to you. The only words you received were acknowledgement of your nefarious deeds, and notes of your skills. You boarded the unmarked shuttle. You’ve been given promises. Promises of power, money, immortality; along with many others that would tantalize even the most noble.

It felt like days before the blindfold was removed, waking you from a drug induced slumber. You stand in an atrium of black metal. Red and gold banners hung from the ceilings in a ceremonious fashion. The floor was made of white marble. Looking beside you, you stand amongst others who were lured in by the same promises. A few feet before you stands a two tiered podium. On the first tier stoof four figures, all dressed in black robes with pointed expressions upon their faces. Clearly they have been here longer than most.

From left to right, you first see a female human with her hood up, though her face held a scowl. Her arms were crossed and her posture was strong. The second stood, much shorter than his compatriots, his robes a deep burgundy with the hood pulled to cover his feature, only his startling blue eyes would be visible. The third was a Kasatha, with one set of arms crossed before her and the other crossed behind her back. She lacked the customary cloth that hid her lips as she held her chin up with cold hard eyes upon the assembled recruits. The fourth stood completely hidden in their ceremonial robes.

One last robed figure stood upon the final tier, behind a podium. He his hood was down, but he wore a mask of solid black metal, a single red line split the visor from the bottom of the featureless mask to the very top. The mask wrapped around his face more like a helmet then anything. When he spoke, his voice echoed upon the halls. His tone was modified by the mask, causing the voice to send remarkable chills down your spine.

”Welcome my brothers and sisters to the Covenant.” He’d spread his arms, ”Welcome, to the life the awaits you, for those who are worthy of my choice.” He’d pause, for just a moment letting silence fill the air before he spoke once more.

”I am Lord Verran, your new God.”

We are a group of players, most from Paizo forums, who are seeking two more players for our evil starfinder campaign! This will be entirely discord based, and will run continuously over the week much like the forums, though we will have bi-weekly sessions! This game will be roleplay heavy.

So far, you can guess the other players in the entry post. The classes are as follows, Vanguard (Modified Legacy Magus), Archon (Legacy Wizard), Soldier, and one still deciding, possibly an envoy.

Character Creation Rules

Attributes: Roll 3d6, re-roll any 1’s. Drop the lowest result and add 6. This will keep all lowest possible scores at 10. Ex. 3d6 -> 2, 1, 6. Reroll 1: 1d6 -> 6. Final result. 6, 6, 6 = 18.
Level: 1
Races: Starfinder Core highly recommended. Pathfinder Legacy (in core book) allowed.
Classes: Starfinder Core. Pathfinder Legacy per basis review. I’d have to do the conversion so acceptance will be based off your entire application.
Starting Wealth: 1,000 credits
Alignments: NE or LE only. CE's wouldn't be able to join the organization.
Background: I want to see your motivations for doing what you do and what promises would lure you to work for a secretive cult. You may use the 10 minute background, but I encourage applicants to write who their character is.

IMPORTANT: When you post your application, please update this application sheet with your information! Shadow Ascension Applications

Deadline is by next friday from this posting date!

Docking, strapping everything down and settling in for a ride was the easiest part of the whole trip so far. The Expedition was well oiled and had everything under tight control. It almost felt militaristic if it wasn’t for the fact that the ship Exodus was geared for long term exploration. Upon docking to the main ship, the ship was clamped down by gravi fields and armatures to fix the ship in place. The hangar bay doors shut and the protective shield went up between the ships and the doors. Everyone remained to their designated ships and stations as the Exodus prepared for its launch.

So far everything was quiet during the travel, which had already spent most of the day in drift, traveling deeper and farther than most ships dared too. Mainly for the reason of encountering the other planes of existence along the way, but so far it seemed that either the Exodus was ignoring any suddenly plane tears or nothing of that sort has happened quite yet. Until a notification came alive across your terminals.

The Exodus has left Drift space. You could hear some chatter begin to spike amongst the common channel shared by all the ships of the fleet before a display began flashing red with a annoying beep. The chatter died down and a loud voice boomed over the comms.

”Attention! The Exodus has left the Drift and were in unknown territory! The first step of this long journey is a success! Unfortunately we had the unfortunate time to land in a sector that has apparently been visited to before. And those visitors are in need. We received a distress beacon among the unknown moon around a large gas giant in the system. Our preliminary scanners read that it is avoid of any atmosphere but has low-g gravity. Suit up. Since it will take roughly 4 hours for our Drift engines to spin up again, we will be sending out three ships for search and rescue. Do not engage anything if you can, we want to save them if they're still alive and continue on our mission. The ships who are designated for this mission have been chosen by lottery. Your displays should alert you if you had been chosen. Everyone else, sit tight and prepare for any immediate action. More information will display upon the rescue ships. Commander Thesari out.”

The comms died and the general chatter picked up again. The ship's native AI dialed down the back noise and brought up the distress beacon details.

Hostiles encountered. Wounded. Need immediate assistance, please help, anyone! Were just a science team!

Below the tag line was nav points and locations of three separate ships. You were giving the destination near the dark side of the moon that was nestled at the bottom of a crater. The distress beacon was already about 6 hours old. The docking clamps released and you were giving the green light to leave the hangar as the hangar bay slowly opened with a dull rumble that you could feel even in your own ship.

Congrats to those accepted players!

There will be several things we must do before starting the campaign officially!

1) Build a Starship!
2) Determine Starship Roles!
3) Determine if anyone in the party knows each other in any capacity. At most, all of you would've been introduced a day or so prior to the launch of the Exodus.

3 people marked this as a favorite.

A distress signal brings the ships console lights to life, waking the sleeping crew from their slumber. Investigating the distress signal only brought everyone to a frantic scramble.

--CODE RED ALERT--
--HELP REQUESTED--
--STRANDED--
--UNKNOWN HOSTILES--
--NAV POINT ATTACHED--

The ship begins changing its direction to the point of origin, a large moon orbiting a gas giant. A quick radar check shows your ship is the only one within range. The distress had been logged and you are now headed towards a rescue mission with hell knows what kind of dangers ahead.

I just picked up the Starfinder rule book and I have gotten quick read of it and I have to say... EXCITED! So eager to run a game, I'm deciding why not DM one for all you lovely folks?!

Simple rules to begin:

Races: Starfinder Core heavily recommended, Pathfinder Legacy Core allowed.
Starting level: 1
Ability Scores: 10 point buy
Optional Rules: Character Flaw - One of your ability scores will need be an 8 or lower. You do not get to reassign this point deficit.
Posting Speed: 1/day
Posting Style: RP Heavy
Background: 10 minute background is bare minimum. The lore is new and rich with Starfinder so I do expect some good ideas behind your character!
Setting: Will be using established settings of the Pact worlds. What ever is in the core rule book is game and will exist in my campaign.

I will be using google drives for online battle maps. If you have a recommendation (that's free) feel free to pitch it! I will also create a private discord channel for the campaign as well.

This is a new system to me, and I'm pretty sure everyone in the party, so it'll be a great learning experience and hopefully, very fun!

Oh yes, the ship will be created by the players who are accepted in as joint team building activity! Backstory of that ships existence, and the crew, will come then as well.

I am open to allowing Pathfinder Legacy Core Races.

This thread is happening in concurrency of the Gameplay thread. It is one massive camp. Those who are applying for the campaign are able to react to any events that happen in the gameplay thread. Use this to your advantage.

Throngs of species gathered around several camp fires, having just been pitched. There were no tents, no shanties. There was never time for that, just enough to set up a fire and sit with dread. Though not all the refugees were tattered and possession-less. There were many dwarves who were rugged, and well armed, several kobolds and other species who seemed like they have been through several hard fights. Most of their eyes were tired, yet hard and determined. They kept watch over everyone, scouts constantly coming and going, relaying orders to a few select persons of authority.

The fear of freezing was not amongst the worries as the summer season had arrived. It was starvation and the constant fear that the Mad King's armies would soon be upon them. There was a quietness about the throngs of dislocated families and species. There was no cheer, no merriment. Food was being rationed now, the supplies were running low and many of the former slaves and refugees who had taken up arms were out, trying their best to harvest what they can.

The entire gathering sat upon a bluff that had a small path leading down several hundred feet to a desert below where the sun was coming close to the dunes into the far distance. The only known path for salvation on the western edges of the plans. Behind were rolling hills, covered in thick forests while to the north and south were climbing mountains.

The Mad King's war rages on. The country has devolved into chaos. The rate of purges of non-humans climb and mass graves begin to litter the middle continents. Many towns and cities are claimed by the Mad King, flying the banner of the new order. Armies march to the thunderous beats of war while many flee.

Freeport, where the armies are locked into a siege for Moon Sea. Murthinguard has become a bastion, holding the only easy passage into the elven east and dwarven north. The south of Luthias Sea and the complete Thurgan Plains are under the Mad King's Rule. The Green Peaks are contested and the king's armies march towards the Korthargu Ridge.

A exodus of refugees from the middle continent, wives, children, farmhands, ex-militia, nobles who have fallen from grace. Any non-human from all walks of life flee for their life, all fleeing to the desert for one single reason… salvation. Word escaped that the king's armies haven’t crossed the sands and there’s rumors abound, speaking of a hidden city, one that even the Mad King can’t attack and has become the only hope that many seek.

The Brisal Desert, a land of untamed monstrous atrocities, beasts and a golden city rumored to exist drive you and everyone else to save haven.

This campaign is an extension of an existing one that has ran for 37 pages and almost 2k posts! Many died to get us to this point, many have suffered, and quite a few companions sacrificed themselves. It had been put to the side while life took a turn and limited my time to DMing, but now I’m working to revive it and bring it to a new stage of the story. It is my first ever campaign I ran and I believe my personal best. Now I’m reviving it and few of the original players are coming back!

The story is crafted and reactionary to how you the players interact with the world. I have a slight guiding hand, but it is primarily a sandbox world where what you do with it, affects it, permanently. With this in mind, your character has a history in the world and has a stake in it. With your race you choose, your story you craft for your character, will be molded into the world of Kalinthros. Take advantage of this and create something unique! Is one of the towns on the map far to the east a town filled with your unique species? Is there roaming band of nomads? Was there something specific you want to call home?

This is your chance to take part in a campaign that reacts to your choices, and have more rippling changes from your actions. Be it well intentioned or not, the world will react to you!

This campaign IS mythic!

I’m ideally looking for at-least 5-6 applicants to join our cast of 4 existing players from the previous campaign.

Our existing characters are:
Ishak: Kobold - Striker - Sorcerer/Archmage
Octavian: Illidari (Custom Race) - Buffer/Crafter - Wizard/Archmage
Breewyn: Gnome - Healer - Oracle/Heirophant
-FOURTH PLAYER HERE- Yeah, got to rebuild it!

------------------

Campaign Rules:

Posting: I expect a certain level of skill with the english language from my players. One sentence responses will usually not be sufficient. Repeated 1 sentence responses will result in the player being removed from my game. There is a built in spell check on the site but I would suggest writing your lengthy responses in a writing program. Blatant poor grammar (with the exception of idiotic character speech) will not be accepted and repeated grammatically incorrect posts can lead to removal. All this means is read over what you write BEFORE posting and spell check. It only takes a minute or two and saves everyone a headache.

At the beginning I will not be militant about grammar or post length as all of the players (myself included) will be getting used to the other players' writing styles. As time progresses however posts should become more fluid and well written as we get more experience as a group. If a character is saying something posting the speech in only bold font is unacceptable. Write your posts as if you are taking part in writing a book.

Posting Rate: Since this is a big campaign all players need to be able to post at least once every day, if an outside circumstance comes up, please contact the players via the Discussion tab for DMCP and let them know so things can be worked around the absences without too much of a disruption.

Healing Magic: All heal spells are modified by the casters total heal skill (min. of 0). Example: Joe Bob has a heal skill of 10. He casts cure light wounds for 1d8+3. Say that gives him an 8. Add his heal skill to that and poof, 18! This represents the casters knowledge of the healing and how to properly channel the healing energy to maximum effect.

Nat 20's and 1's: In my games there is a chance for even a 1st level character to impale a dragon through the heart against impossible odds as well as a 20th level rogue tripping and landing flat on his face. Roll a nat 20 and the accomplishment will go above and beyond whatever you are trying to attempt. Roll a nat 1 and it's an automatic failure, regardless of your base attack or skill ranks. Even gods can screw up.

Feat Tax: I will be using the system suggested here.

Spells: Spells do not require a spell-book to replenish your daily use. Spell-books are only required to change your allotment or learn new spells.

Skill Checks: Even if your skill check is high enough to pass the DC of the required check without a roll, you must roll regardless. Even with your high skill in that check, you still have a chance of critically failing, but also having a critical success which will grant additional boons.

Traits: Traits are earn via playing the campaign. These are rewards or affects your characters will gain depending on their actions in the campaign.

PC vs PC Diplomacy Checks: This will not be allowed to force players to think or behave a specific way. You must convince them with traditional means of roleplay.

Feats: Feats are gained as normal, but additional feats may be awarded by group/character play.

Crafting: A whole new system will be replacing Pathfinders crafting rule set to accommodate the campaign.

Combat: Players will be giving one day to post their turn in combat. By the end of day if a player has not taken their turn, they will be put on delay and combat will proceed normally. GM will roll all initiative rolls to keep from breaking the flow of the PbP.

Player Death: In the event of a players death, that is the end of their journey (If there is no chance to get a revival/reincarnation). This also means your participation into he campaign is done. No re-rolling of characters will be permitted. This is to allow other outside players a chance to participate in the campaign.

Party Wipe: In the event of the death of the entire party, a new recruitment will be held. You will be allowed to submit a new character then, but only then.

------------------

Character Creation:

Character Creation:

Level: 5

Mythic: 1, HOW you became mythic will be determined between the both of us after you make it past the selection and into the campaign.

HP: Maximum HP on Hit Die for your class.

Abilities: 20 point buy system. All stats start at 10, single point to raise stat by one. You can subtract up to -2 points for additional points. No ability scores can be below 8, or above 18, before racial modifiers.

Classes: All Official Paizo classes are available except for any classes based around guns or blackpowder weaponry, the world has not even invented smaller handheld blackpowder weapons. No occult. No 3PP. Unchained classes are allowed.

Races: No humans, only under special considerations. All Official Paizo races are available except for any "Advanced" or "Sci-Fi" races. I will allow building of races per my inspection. If you want to build a race, let me know and PM me the details of such. Nothing above a 12 RP limit. All Core, Featured, and Uncommon are up for grabs. You may modify existing races.

Traits: All traits are assigned by play. I will assign a customized trait to you based on your crunch, character bio, and sample RP in the discussion thread.

Background Trait/Skill: You are allowed to choose 1 background trait that adequately represents what your character is or was.

Feats: Refer to the Feat Tax ruling in the Campaign House Rules section. Combat Stamina is not freely given, if you desire to have it you must spend the feat to acquire it.

Alignment: Any alignment is allowed. It's fun seeing a mix of alignments trying to work together.

Starting Gear & Wealth: This is a special case, you will have the clothes and gear on you back, the 10 gp starting gear but in a tattered state. You are a refugee that have barely escaped being slaughtered because you were not a human.

Additionally roll a 1d100. This will be used to determine what gear you additionally have when you get accepted into the campaign!

------------------

Application Requirements:

Application Requirement:

In order to be considered for this campaign, I’m looking for several things….

Completed Crunch with the following shorthand in your class/levels descriptor:
(Gender) (Name) (Class) ((Mythic Path)) (Level(Mythic Level)) HP: --/-- | AC:-- T: -- FF: -- | Fort: -- | Ref: -- | Will: -- | Perception: --/Passive Initiative: --, (Special Vision)
Visual Description of your character
Background / History / Personality of your character. This can be one whole thing or separated out, your choice.
Your proposal of what idea you have to tie your character into the world.
Willingness to participate in a recruitment roleplay. This is to assess your writing capabilities and to get a feel of your commitment and what I can expect from your posts on a daily basis.

To complete the 5th step, you will participate in the Discussion roleplay, where you will be one of the refugees out of hundreds heading to sanctuary. I will post an entry setting in the discussion for the prompt and to get things going. This is also to give you a chance to try out your character and get a feel what you will be writing for heavily. You don’t like what you have, this is the perfect opportunity to change your application if it isn’t not jiving for you.

Please read everything carefully! If there are any questions feel free to ask.

It was said that the world was filled with magic once, that there were flying beasts of great knowledge, that there was more than just Orcs and Humans who walked the surface and had great societies. There was even talk about how many beings have an innate ability to summon fire at their fingertips and create wondrous spells…

They all are just regarded as stories, myths and legends from old feeble minded souls who could not stand the brutality of reality. There was no magic, the lands were starving and there was always war. That is how it always was. Human and Orcs who served the Eternal Queen. Those who did not suffered.

The world was now in a constant state of bickering border squabbles. Feeble humans trying to grab land and power, as it always was. Eventually the orcs would be called in to quiet the storm by letting a blood river flow. It was what they were trained to do… bred to do. There purpose was to be the sword of the Queen, and never to question where or when she decided to use that weapon. In some form they had a similar freedom to what humans may have. They may die in battle the next day but it was better than dying to starvation or the whip of man. At least they had some autonomy under the Eternal Queen.

That’s what it has always been. Never mind the lunatics who speak of gods, or a single moon… much less other species!

--------------------

The sun was late in the sky, falling slowly into the eastern hills. The new moons were slowly crescendoing. The black stone keep was busy with activities of all your fellow orcs and regiments. It was just another day, a slow one at that. The week was rather quiet and there was no major conflicts that the regiments were sent for. It was these weeks that everyone got restless, and many regiments were doing volunteer patrols just in hopes they would find something to do. There was a minor bandit issue, but a regiment was already sent to deal with the nuisance just two days prior. They should be returning any day now and they would end up like everyone else, bored, but not just as bored as the rest.

The Black Swords regiment was stationed at the southern part of the keep, in a barracks building laying claim to the top most floor. The regiment had earn their right to that room to call home. The floor was sectioned into several areas, a den where many would lounge, the sleeping quarters, and then the armory. Many of the regiments past victories laid tacked to the wall and mounted, from stuffed beasts to skulls of notable enemies. The fire was alive in the fireplace, the logs crackling and spitting, breathing a nice heat into the room. Near the fireplace stood a cauldron, a soup or broth like liquid cooking from the heat.

The nights got rather cold, even during the depths of summer, as soon as the sun’s strength waned, fires would be lit around the keep. Tonights rotation didn’t include the regiment for watch, so it was another dull night, sometimes having renown could be boring...

Until there was a hard knock at the barracks door, a deep voice rumbling out, “Sir, your regiment has been called for duty, report to the front gates.”

Alrighty accepted orcs and halfie! Go ahead and get your character posted here.

We have a few things to do before the campaign officially starts,

1) Get your back stories in line and figured out within the theme. this will be everyone working with me in this thread to get things ironed out. We will also establish how your regiment has known each other and this will be done by everyones input on some scenarios I post.

2) Get your positive and negative traits assigned! This is determined by the above interactions with me!

3) Make any last adjustments needed for your characters.

All the while if you have any questions, please shoot them my way.

I will post the general background of the world here as well. That also means if you have any questions of the world, setting, characters etc feel free to ask me them. I will now divulge extra information to the group!

The skies billowed and rolled, as if they were boiling in the evening sky. A sun slowly descend, casting a golden hue across the city. The city was burning. You feel sweaty, recovering your breath, you look at your hands which gripped the viscous looking sword and a battered shield. They were soaked in blood, down at your feet lay the fallen humans, tyrants and menaces. The ones who enslaved your kind. You look up, a tower looms in the distance, gnarled and black, striking against the sky as if it was taunting you.

You now are marching, leading the way down a path, thousands strong march behind you. The drums of war beat with each step. Your vengeance thundering and shaking the ground, no, the world.

You are close now, you taste the looming battle. Your muscles ache and strain. A odd star shaped object hovers before the gates. Your close to your freedom, but something nags at you. Your not there yet. Close, yet so close...

I've always been inspired by the book series Orcs to create a campaign centralized around the idea that the entire player cast are orcs! Most races have disappeared except the humans, which now plague the world. The orcs have found themselves enslaved, and used as pawns to fight wars for the humans and for all sorts of manual labor. This has been going on for generations, by now, it is the way things are as an orc.

This is going to be a bit unorthodox of how I normally do recruitment. I'm looking for 6-8 players, willing to roleplay their character as first person, so at least 3-4 sentences minimum. Each player is part of a regiment that calls them the Black Swords. You are part of an already elite group of fighters that have seen a large amount of battles already. Your regiment has positions that everyone will play the role of: Regiment Leader, Lieutenant, Scout, 3-5 Soldiers.

If you are accepted to the campaign, then we will discuss the backgrounds of your characters specifically to fit into the theme of the world and the setting. So no need to write a backstory of your character for application purposes.

So here are the rules below:
1. Only allowed racial type is Orc from the featured races in pathfinder, remove light sensitivity from their racial traits but also darkvision. http://www.d20pfsrd.com/races/other-races/featured-races/arg-orc/

2. All players will start out at level 4. This is to show your time fighting and surviving longer then most orcs.

3. Allowed Classes are: Barbarian, Ranger, Fighter, Rogue, Cavalier, and Slayers. This is a special no magic game for the players.

4. Roll 4d6, toss lowest for ability scores. You may re-roll your entire set if you don't like the results. Please don't spam a 100 of them though!

5. For starting gear, roll your starting class gold four times, and add the results. No magical equipment allowed.

6. Roll 1d20 for Positive Trait and Negative Trait. These will be given when you begin play. It is to help build a background of your character.

To apply level your character up to level 4, post your stat block (no alias needed) in spoilers. Then state the position in the regiment your applying for, and finally a paragraph or so of your character responding to the role specific situation below:

Regiment Leader: You are overlooking a valley from a bluff, with your regiment behind you. Down in the valley, three armies are amazing. A border conflict between several kingdoms is unfolding. Your primary mission was to scout and report back the results of the battle. You prepare to leave as your scout yells a warning. A calvary flank is already happening and unfortunately you are in their path and they already spotted you. Human knights have already leveled their lances and are charging. There is an outcropping of rocks to the left of you, a small grove of trees to the right, and then a path along the bluff hill that leads to a cliff face.

Lieutenant: You leader just gave an order that you yourself have conflicts with. Its a dangerous move and you think it may be reckless, they are being unreceptive to any inquiries to their command. You fear that one of the regiment may lose their life today.

Scout: You were on an advanced scouting mission for your regiment, about two to three miles ahead of the troop. You climbed up a tree to try and get a better view. You see a large swath of humans are moving towards your regiment. Both parties oblivious to each other. You try and climb down the tree but the humans had their own advance scouts and they are passing underneath you right now making it impossible to climb down undetected.

Soldier: As your regiment attempted to pass through a field, you were spotted by an advance cavalry regiment. You get chased down and are locked in a bloody struggle. Your fellow soldier is winning a fight to your left, but you see a human coming up quickly behind to dispatch your friend on horseback. You yourself are stuck in a fight with a knight before you.

I just recently moved from Portland, OR to Kirkland WA. I'm finally settled in and all but I lost all my parties!

I'm crafting a new homebrew campaign and I'm looking to fill it with 3-4 more players. Me and my Fiance(soon to be wife!) both play, and I'm going to be DMing.

For a little more detail, I do custom rules for battles to make it quicker and more interesting and much less tabletop wargaming (From the numerous campaigns I've run, I tend to have players who prefer fast pace, quick thinking combat scenarios). I have a few systems in place that I created to help create a more immersive crafting system as well. I'm also a bit lax on the rules as I am more concerned about delivering an engaging and fun story to the players. Roleplaying the characters is welcomed, first or third person is fine!

The closest common ground is Mox Boarding house in Bellevue, but I live in a fairly nice community and have a nice big sectional couch for everyone to relax on, most importantly I do have AC, if you don't mind two kitties that is!

I also have a Legend of Korra/Star Wars/Mass Effect mash-up homebrew that is also looking for players. So I have essentially two campaigns you guys can pick from!

Please email me at cr.frey@outlook.com if your interested! If you got questions pertaining to the settings offered or any thing that would benefit other people, reply to this thread to keep things visible!

The location of the meeting point in time was an old road heading south into the stolen lands. The only real designation was a old weathered sign post that had seen better days as it pointed north and south, one back into Brevoy, where it was simply labeled "Brevoy" and the other was slightly different, "Oleg Trading Post". The words were carved into the signpost and lacquered to give a black lettering. The surrounding lands was open hills, sparsely wooded with trees here and there with no real forest. Farther down the road you can see it follow the hills and slowly curve eastward ever so slightly before disappearing over the horizon.

The location was still a good distance away from the trading post the charter had mentioned, speaking of it being the farthest location south. It would be a good location for the motley group of explorers to use as a base of operations while exploring the greenbelt that the charter gave the group rights to.

The sun was high, the breeze soft and warm and the clouds no where to be seen, it was sure to be nice traveling weather.

It was an early day in Restov, the morning was still young with the morning dew garnered on the ground. The city was still waking from its slumber when the small caravan arrived. Passing the northern city gates the two dwarves, Durham and Ivar found themselves parting ways with the caravan, the human who led the procession giving them a small parting gift of wrapped cheese and a merry smile.

"Thank you for accompany my little caravan, the additional security is always welcome! Though I think that just the appearance of two dwarves with me, armed to the teeth that be, ward off any would be bandits." The human paused for a moment as he split a toothy grin, "Nah, its just the stench of ya that kept them at bay!" He would let off a hearty laugh, clapping both of their shoulders in good humor. He was an odd fellow at least, before giving his final good byes and moving the caravan down the main road towards the market.

With that the two dwarves stood upon the main road, the sun slowly rising over the lands to the east. Though those would come sooner or later their aim was to go to the west, towards a small outpost that they were told to begin their task of the charter. But first, it was a stop at Restov to supply and meet the two others that supposedly had been paired with their growing band. The letter that accompanied the charters spoke of a tavern that would be the meeting place of the band, the taverns name was listed as the "Gilded Mug" an odd name, but it wasn't much more to think about then it just being an inn.

You can feel the anticipation on your tongue, the excitement of approaching the Greenbelt to the west. The Unexplored lands waiting to be explored! But first, business as usual.

Additional Information about Restov:

Restov
Restov is one of the two largest cities in the fertile region of Rostland in southern Brevoy. It is known as the Free City of Restov, but it is allied with Brevoy.

Lord Mayor Ioseph Sellemius leads the city, which is a trade and cultural center that borders the River Kingdoms, the Shrike River, and the Stolen Lands. Sellemius is not from any of the noble families, which allows the inhabitants to keep the memories of the Aldori Swordlords and times before Choral the Conqueror alive.

As the birthplace of the Aldori dueling style, the city boasts several Aldori and Taldan dueling schools, which has led to the city being a favored place for young nobles to practice dueling championships. Most prominent among them is the Aldori Academy, widely regarded as the region's finest war college. A large number of Aldori duelists came to the city from Rostland after Choral the Conqueror united Brevoy.

Inhabitants
Restov is filled with people who are often refined, including a gentry that believes they are quite sophisticated, or rough around the edges. Taldans smile at those that believe themselves cultured, as they see the natives as being quaint barbarians. As Restov is relatively wealthy, there are many lords and merchants whose sons take up dueling. Fights are common; rhetoric of rebellion against the king can be heard throughout the city.

The main church in the city is dedicated to Erastil watched over by High Priest Ezvanki Keegh.

The city is home to an Aldori swordlord called Jamandi Aldori.

Many firebrands who oppose King Noleski Surtova also hide amongst the taphouses of Restov, raising dissent.[4] More recently, the citizens of Restov have become troubled about the politics and tensions between Rostland and Issia to the north.

Government
A council of Swordlords aid the mayor in ruling Restov. Mayor Sellemius is a member of this council and acts as its representative

You find yourself wandering into a Brevoy tavern one night to see a cluster of people standing around a piece of paper nailed to the notice board. Once you are able to (elbow your way through, wait patiently, use your small size to scamper underneath the big people or use your commanding height to simply look over everyone's head) read the paper, it says thus;

All ye brave of heart and strong in desire, harken! To the south lies those lands long bereft of order and Lordship. The Swordlords call out for those of stout character to journey to the south and tame the wildlands for the glory of first themselves and then The Ruby Throne! All interested parties please see your nearest clerk's office.

There are Two Open Slots. Two players already exist.

Combat Rules:

During small(few to one monsters) combat:
Standard book combat rules apply.

During large(many monsters) combat:
Players Initiatives will be averaged, so players may take their turn at any time during the players group turn.

Enemy initiatives will be grouped together as well in the initiative order. They will be placed in respect to the averaged players initiative.

During Combat. Due to its lengthy nature, I will speed up posts to once a day. At the end of each day, the monsters will always take their turn. This is to prevent a month long combat sequence.

Ex.
Combat 1:
Players have an average initiative roll of 8. Monsters average initiative rolls is a 4. In this event, the Players take their turn first, then the monsters will after.

Crafting System:

You can craft many items in the campaign, from armor and weapons, but you must have skill points allocated to Craft: [Category] in order to do so. You must obtain raw materials and/or schematics to do. The system is explained in more detail below:

Crafting Categories:

  • Armor
  • Weapons
  • Spellcraft (This is the existing Spellcraft in skills)
  • Potions
  • Siege
  • Traps

    What you need to craft?
To craft items in the campaign you must have the raw material to do so. Most raw materials can either be found, salvaged, or bought. There will be unique materials and components you can find to add special affects or bonuses.

When you have the required materials, you can do one of two things. You can either find/purchase a schematic in order to know the quantity of resources you need. Or you can make a Craft [Category] skill check to see if your character knows how to craft that item that you want. If you fail to pass this knowledge check you have to buy a schematic or take a penalty to your Craft [Category] check to when you craft your weapon.

    How long does it take?
Crafting takes time in the game world, there will be moments when you enter towns where you will have access to what you need to craft your items. The length of time is calculated from a Craft [Category] check and the complexity/quality of the weapon. You can rush your crafts but you will take a penalty on your Craft [Category] check for quality.

    How are the stats determined?
I will determine final base stats of your item. Your will make your final Craft [Category] check to determine your characters success at making the item. This check will help determine the quality of your item, or if your character blunders and wastes the materials.

    Can I get an example?
Of course you can! (Note: All data here is an example and does not represent what the materials actually do.)

Targen the Dwarf decides he wants to make a one handed waraxe. First he makes a check to see if he is knowledgeable enough in crafting it.

He has a Craft: Weapons skill of 15. His final roll tallies results in a 25. Crafting a standard waraxe is pretty common knowledge so he doesn't need a schematic. He finds out he needs 2 ingots to craft it and it will take approximately 2 full days to make it.

Targen the Dwarf has enough Darksteel and Obsidian to craft it. He decides to use Darksteel because it gives a inherent +2 to attack rolls against Goblins. He knows this because of a finding a tattered book on Darksteel. Though a Craft Weapons check could reveal if he worked with that material before and possibly gleamed what it might do.

Targen then makes a Craft Weapons Skill check to Craft the weapon. He doesn't have enough time craft it so he wants to attempt to craft it in one day which raises the difficulty of the check. His skill check results in 20. Luckily since it is a simple weapon with no other enhancements he makes it without too much difficulty. His weapon now has the base stats of a common waraxe, but with a +2 to attack rolls against Goblins.

If he had extra time, he could lower the difficulty of the check or opted to use extra materials to try and get a boost to its effect or find a new affect by combining materials.

Just to reiterate, use this time to dot in for those who have been accepted, as well as begin discussion these topics below:

    Outfit Name?

    Classified as Mercenaries or Pirates?

Ship Selection? (Striker-Cruiser-Dropship) I believe everyones leaning towards Cruiser. Subsequentially what does the group wish to outfit their ship with?

Group Background - What brought everyone in this crew together?

Crew Outfittings? Does anyone want to put their savings up to help afford extra equipment for the ship? Any modifications or enhancements?

I will participate in all the discussions and provide answers to questions and such!

Okay so I think I'm addicted to GMing, and I have this particular sci-fi itch I want to scratch with the recent boost in sci-fi content in video games and movies.

I'm still trying to decide upon a system to use, might actually go with a modified Pathfinder rules or another ruleset entirely. I'm open to suggestions.

So here's the basic ground premise below:(Haven't went over with a fine-tooth comb yet)

    Story Background:

Wars ravage the known galaxy, ripping apart planets and solar systems. Governments and corporations alike battling eachother for the newly discovered alien artifacts of a superier race long gone. Control of the artifacts give their ownings unparralled power and technological advancements that were only dreams of.

These alien artifacts are littered throughout the galaxy and thus causing the corporations and governments to expand, to war, to conquer for these things. The destabilization of peace has wrought a new age of mercenaries and pirates. Lawless space growing between the borders of once great nations and ideas. All now torn apart for the quest for the ultimate power and technology. The new age has arrived.

This story will begin in the Centuria Sector near a planet known as LL-001. The hired guns have just confirmed the transfer of agreed upon credits. Their ship's engines flare to live as they begin their orbit run.

They were not alone, thousands of lights come to life as one after another engines started. Ships of all sizes and shapes were converging on the planet before them. It was a glorious sight... a glorious sight to the beginning of the battle for this once forgotten planet.

It was an important battle, a lot of money was being tossed around and a lot of bodies were hired for this precious little planet. It was discovered that this planet held a massive alien structure that corporation Xul tried to lay claim to. The ones that were paying you, Leinder Hulls, wanted it for themselves and are making a move.

The importance of this battle could be immediately seen from just the roster of ships present, particular one of them. The dreadnaught Liara which belonged to the Black Wolf's, the largest and disputably the most powerful mercenary outfit in the Centuria Sector.

You can expect to be apart of a team of players who share a large ship together, acting under a mercenary or pirate flag of your own choosing. You will experience espionage, space battles, large scale warfare, skirmishes and the lawlessness of space!

This campaign would be supplemented with detailed galactic maps and allow a deep and rich story experience with freedom to explore, fight and conquer. Images will be supplied to help give you visual appearances of ships, mech suits and such! (Reference material, not my own designs).

Again I am open to system suggestions, and I am able to acquire the necessary books if needed.

Races and those details can be decided once we settle upon a system to use.

Thoughts? Questions? Suggestions? Make them below!

The air was stagnant and dry. It felt harsh on the throat to breath the fetid air, though there really was no other option. Most of everyone has had their mouths and noses covered by a thick cloth to try and filter the air they were breathing. It really didn't help all that much unfortunately.

The day was high, the sun was hanging over head casting its sickly yellow gaze down upon the area. The lands were dead, grass yellow and dried, the dirt hard and cracked. Any plant life around the white citadel was either dead or dying. The poor trees were gnarled and twisted into horrors of their kind with bark as black as night. Most of them were barren and empty, though those who still clung to their sparse leaves were brown and crisp to the touch. It looked as if the world was dying, and it was heaving its last, strangled breaths.

The party was accompanied by a small curtail of guards. Though the ride had been mostly silent as the dread of going into the lands silence most of the company that escorted the few souls that were going to brave the depths. All six nations poured their resources into this effort, making sure they could equip the few heroes with what they needed before sending to them to what many though was their deaths. Their names were already recorded on a monolith that stood at the edges of the citadel lands, as if they already wrote off their chances of success.

It was a last ditch effort, and the somber silence only made it feel more so. It was almost like they were walking to their own funeral.

They arrived shortly before the open, rotted gates of Dillium Das. The walls loomed overhead, empty and barren from the ages of absence of anyone calling this place home. The road from the gate lead in, moving straight towards what appeared another gate for the inner walls of the citadel. All the buildings remained intact and erect, but just empty like the shells found on the beach.

The horses were restless, their muscles tense and their movements jittery. The guards armor clinked and clicked as they shifted in their saddles. The company that rode from them was a small detachment of every nation, acting as safeguard that they will not be harmed, also as the ones who will be setting up on the edge of the territory, awaiting the parties return.

The lead of the company turned his horse around, looking at the chosen ones with a grim gaze. "This is it... this is Dillium Das, the grave of many..." His hand waved out to motion towards the white walls of the citadel, to emphasize his words. "Is there anything you will be needing before departing our company? All of our resources are yours to take. By the gods your going to need them."

Accepted players! Please dot in here and begin your pre-dungeon diving adventure!

You may take this opportunity to get to know one another, figure out party semantics and tactics. I will consider this the 'prep' time before the group heads into the citadel.

Welcome to the The Depths of Dillium Das!

An ancient citadel sits on a plain, surrounded by never ending fields of decrepit farmlands. The once pearly white walls still stood, with only minor depredation to the structures. The gates to the citadel remained rotten and open, inviting anyone into its hold to tempt their fate. But place remains empty and abandoned as no one has ever returned from its far reaching depths...

But now you and the party gathered must try your hand into learning the secrets hidden in the citadel and uncover the source of the plague that has risen up from the lands.

Welcome to The Depths of Dillium Das! This is a special homebrew campaign I have been working on for over a year. What's so special about this campaign that it is a Mega Dungeon! A entirely different world exists below with its denizens oblivious to the world above. Or are they really that oblivious?

You will venture into the depths of the world and try and uncover the truth behind a plague that is destroying the world, bringing mighty civilizations to its knees with hunger, death and sickness. War is close to breaking out between nations and your party is the result of one last effort to find the cause of this plague and reverse it if possible. Everything hinges on the success of your group.

I'm looking for a standard group size of 5-6 players. Details are below! Please read the rules before creating a character and applying!

    Campaign Rules:

    Posting
Be able to post at least once a day. Being able to post more then once a day is more then welcome, but you should be able to post once a day.

Along with one post a day, each post but have a minimum of 5 sentences! This is to help give a more detailed impression of your characters and their actions. Dialogue does count towards your sentences. The more you write, the better this campaign will be. I like detail and with more detail everyone is able to role play more!

    Combat
Everyone will be given to the end of day to post their combat. By the end of the day all enemies will take their turns. If you have not posted your combat by the end of day, you will be essentially 'delayed' and can act normally after enemies take their turns. This does not grant you an extra turn in the next combat round.

All enemies will be lumped together in one initiative, players will act as a group initiative. Post when it is the groups turn in any order. This is to help streamline combat and make it easier in the PbP setting.

    Character Profiles
To apply, you can do either one of two things..

    1. Roll your character, make an alias for them and post their crunch in their character sheet then post as that character in this thread.

    2. Roll your character, place your crunch in spoilers and post in this thread.

Eventually you will need to make the Alias of your character if you are accepted into campaign!

    Character Creation Rules:

    Races
Core Races are accepted. You may apply with any of the Featured Races from Paizo but they will be reviewed and allowed or disallowed depending on the race you choose.

    Classes
I will allow all official Paizo published classes.

    Stat Allocation
Roll 4d6, drop the lowest one, assign them to your discretion. Roll these dice in the forum to show your rolls. Any total results from your rolls under 8 may be rerolled.

    Background
Supply a background of why your character was chosen for the party to venture into the depths of Dillium Das. Make sure you read the campaign background, choose a nation you hail from, and the significant reason why your in the party, be it fortunate luck to your characters expertise in a given field or a high ranking military officer. Have a bit of fun here :)

    Campaign Background:

The campaign takes place in the world of Caleesh, a large super-earth where you are in the northwestern hemisphere where the climate is a temperate nature. Specificly your on a large continent that is dominated by six nations. The nations are as follows:

Redale: A nation primarily dominated by humans. They are a technologically advanced with complex mechanism and cities. They are a very intellectually driven nation that have an edge in politics. They are an inclusive nation and many races live among them fairly. They dislike Guzzathan and like Lur'dalen.

Guzzathan: A dwarven nation that claim mainy of the mountain regions streatching between nations. They are a military powerhouse but also one of the wealthiest nations. They help facilitate trade amongst the nations and supply many nations its soldiers for protection. They have always maintained a steady peace with all the nations mainly due to their strategical positioning and military might. They dislike the nation of Huth'han, and like Ferralathia and Irullia.

Lur'dalen: A primarily elven and elf-kind nation. They are in the eternal pursuit of greater magics and knowledge of the other planar worlds. There cities are more reclusive and hidden away, though they boast the greatest magical talent within the known world. Like: Redale and Ferralathia, dislikes Huth'han and Irullia.

Ferralathia: A melting pot of a nation, where any races could be found. There economy facilitates the greatest trade of raw minerals. They are close kin to Guzzathan and have always traded most of their resources to them. They have many different cities with its own rulers and cultures, but one Emperer controls the entire nation. Dislikes Redale and Huth'han, likes Guzzathan.

Huth'han: A nomadic nation has claims for the vastest lands of plains in the known world. This nation is rulled by a single chief of the herds. Though this nation only has one great city where this chieftan resides, many herds roam the lands, moving to where the food travels and seasonal changes. They are expert horse riders and archers who have the finest pelts and hides in the known world. Dislikes Lur'dalen, Redale, Ferralathia. Likes Irullia.

Irullia: A nation that claims naval superiority, they control the largest amount of the sea and have claimed most of the islands that lay scattered around the continental shores. A nation filled with hardy sea-going types, they aren't the most prosperous of nations but it makes them the most resiliant to changes and upheavals. Dislikes Redale, Lur'dalen. Likes Huth'han, Ferralathia.

There is an ancient citadel located between the majority of the nations, unclaimed and unwanted in a sort of 'no-mans' land. Many expeditions have been launched towards the citadel, but all have failed by the dissappearance of the expeditions. No traces or signs of them could ever be found as the citadel remains empty. Though the land around is dead or dying from an unknown ailment. The nations stopped pursuing it in fear of causing the localized plague to spread.

Centuries have passed since the last official expeditions by this time yet the Citadel still stands. But a new issue has grown over the years. Suddenly across all the nations crops have begun to wither and die, wildlife begin to starve and die off unexpectidly. Sickness is growing and spreading and starvation of smaller settlements are causing refugees to seek the larger cities, only adding more strain to the fragile state of the nations.

The nations are beginning to grow wary of eachother, armies are mustering and cities are being fortified. Fear of global war would break out amongst the nations as food becomes scarcer and the plague worsens.

An emergancy council was called within the wastelands that border all the nations. In this council they have exhausted all other options besides one, to venture into the citadel and try to find the cause of the plague. Though no one would commit their armies to this task in fear that would open them up from an attack from their rivals. So it was decided that the best of each nation would be put forward to venture into the Citadel to find the cause and possibly reverse what ever is causing the lands to die.

Discussion for players of the Kingmaker: Ancient Honor campaign.

And it begins! Please make your introductory post and we can take things off from there!

The crack of a whip and a chorus of hoarse curses wakes you up from your uncomfortable slumber. Sleeping on rotting hay was the less than ideal bed to have, but it was better than the mud that surrounded you. The sleeping den smell was so pungent it stung your nose, it smelled like piss and vinegar which was very unpleasant. The den was more like a cage, the only protection from the outside elements were dirty cloth draped over the thick bars and barbed wire that would prevent any of the thinner kin from squeezing through.

    Fortitude Save DC 10 Failure:
You feel sick from the smell of the cesspit of bodies and bodily fluids. You are now Sickened!

With the shuffling of the other broken slaves around you rose, a murmuring of grumbles and groans, it was going to be another long hard day in the tunnels, at least you won’t be out working the quarry in the rain. There was a slight drizzle, the clouds dark, gloomy and almost oppressive. There was a thick throng of guards outside, clad in imperialistic style garb. The garb was iconic to the zealots that you’ve grown accustomed to seeing.

The guards all wore blood red cloth with dark brown leather joints, fitted with a dark steel scales. There armor was light but efficient with a little bit of the imperial styling, such as the gold emblem sewn in on the chest piece and the crimson sash that was tied around the waist.

    Perception DC 15:
You notice that there is one extra guard then usual and they seem to be shifting their weight awkwardly.

The shack began to slowly empty as everyone got in line to receive their respective chain gangs. It usually took a couple of minutes before the slave den was emptied. But at the moment it felt overly crowded as you're constantly being bumped into as everyone shuffled their way forward, slowly but surely.

This is for general discussion on the campaign for all participating players. Also to help keep Recruitment forum a little clean!

First and foremost, welcome to The Broken Age Campaign! I wanted to thank everyone for joining!

If there are any questions you have feel free to ask them here. Want to make sure everyone can hit the ground running with minimal hiccups :)

Also I had a question, would everyone prefer to have a visualized battle-map for any combat? If so I can find a light weight program to do so. Any recommendations?

    Preface:
So this is sort of a recruitment and interest check all in one. If I get replies that will be great! If not, then that is self explanatory :)

    World Intro:
The world has been ravaged by a crusade of a xenophobic king in possession of a powerful artifact known as the world gem. Humans under his rule have expanded their territories and purge the lands with zeal of anything non-human. Anything that falls out their mandate of what is worthy of the High King is put to sword or put into slavery to extract resources from the ground to fuel their war machine.

Races of all kinds have been pushed back, alliances stressed to the point of breaking, coalitions broken and the will and strength of many sapped from the constant war that has waged on and the losses suffered. Only now there is a moment of respite, the xenophobic humans crusade halting as a massive dessert, seemingly uninterested in crossing.

It's in this moment, the players find themselves enslaved, forced into manual labor in the tunnels in an outlaying outpost. This is where their story begins.

    Character Creation:

    Level: 1

HP: Maximum HP on Hit Die for your class.

Abilities: 20 point buy system. All stats start at 10, single point to raise stat by one. You can subtract up to -2 points for additional points. No ability scores can be below 8, or above 18, before racial modifiers.

Classes: All Official Paizo classes are available, anything using guns are exceedingly rare.

Races: All Official Paizo classes are available except for any "Advanced" or "Sci-Fi" races. I will allow building of races per my inspection. If you want to build a race, let me know and PM me the details of such.

EDIT: Via the Race Builder Rules, nothing above a 12 RP limit. All Core, Featured, and Uncommon are up for grabs.

Alignment: Any alignment is allowed. It's fun seeing a mix of alignments trying to work together.

Starting Gear & Wealth: None! You are slaves at the moment so any possessions you may have had were discarded. You only wear simple tunics and magic-suppressing shackles.

    Things to Know:

This campaign will rely on the players creativity, I encourage out of the box thinking to find ways around circumstances presented to you in this campaign.

I'm a relatively easy going GM, I like to make sure everyone is having fun and that its experience is rewarding. With that said, I like to house-rule a view things against the books. So if you have a cool idea that your character could statistically pull off, propose it to me. I like the creativity and often reward it.

I'd like to keep a couple posts a day if possible, I understand life gets in the way and won't hold it against you. The more posts we can get going, the more we can get through! So just keep that in mind.

I will also post up area maps and region maps as needed. I will be using Google Drive to do such and will host any other extra material needed for the campaign.

One component I love doing in all my games is allowing players to craft weapons, armors, and sometimes spells. Giving that your character has a crafting skill, you might often find unique materials or raw resources that you can use to craft unique weapons. Keep that in mind!

One last thing, you as the players have ultimate control on where the story goes, if all of you suddenly decide to go rampaging through a village, so be it! I like to make interactive campaigns that players have the freedom to help craft their characters stories and adventures. But be warn, every action has a consequence and I will keep track of that.

I do apologies for where I actually should post this. I've dug around and didn't really find any better place to put it.

I'm a veteran Pathfinder GM, usually strictly running things in person, but as life goes, things get in the way to prevent a good chance to dedicate a solid chunk of the day to get a group of people together, so I'm turning to PbP.

This will be my first time running a campaign via a PbP, I've done virtual table tops (Which are fun, but require quite a bit of map set up, which can severally eat into time). I've read around the other campaigns to get the feel for how things are run and I want to give it a shot!

I have a Home-brew campaign I want to run, it will be utilizing Pathfinders rule-set, but it will be a different "world". But into the depth of the campaign.

This will be an epic campaign from beginning to end, ranging from level 1 and beyond. Group size can be from 5-8 players. So I'm interested to see if anyone will be interested in playing this campaign. I will provide area maps and all extra material via Google Drive.
