"You may have cleaned up most of the shadow creatures from the shadowplane, but last I heard the graveyards are full of plenty of bodies." He bows, "Stay safe."

Andrea notices Euphemia's look and waves to Trent. Hello there, how are you doing? She walks up and makes a little chit-chat before pulling him slightly aside.

We are trying to determine if some Hellknights who have deserted Taranik are holing up at the Gargoyle. The Commander is very concerned that they will bring more chaos to Westcrown, have you noticed anything like Hellknights using the Gargoyle like this? We are most concerened that Signifier Verennie is with them as well.

"Good to see you again!" he hugs Andrea tightly. "That Signifier is bad news, last I heard she is accepting 'protection payments'. Heard she was held up in Rego Cader. Get this lots of talk about that area being the walking dead. A new sort of fear for the city." I suppose. He sketches out a quick map of where he's heard the hellkight is holding up.

The others see a familiar emerge from the tavern. He walks over to the guards and footman speaking to Aurelio. He smiles, "Time to go." He doesn't recognize Aurelio. He begins to get in the carriage.

What is everyone doing?

He stands up when Gerard approaches. "Have a seat Gerard. Good to see you, where are your friends?" He shakes off the suggestion of an escort home. "Just a quick meal before I head back to the docks. I've a few guards outside and we are keeping the docks clear of riff-Raff." He shakes Gerard's hand as places a piece of of paper in him palm. "I need to be taking my leave actually."

"She is suppose to be there with plenty of guards, since we are a targeted family."

"Actually, the first order of business is Orsin's play."

"One thing is certain...Lord Drovenge knows his dear grandkids are after him, you can't even get near his estate."

The Cemaine family are ladder climbers with no sense of honor, it does not surprise me that they are involved"

M H, NPC Aristocrat, rogue

"My family has suffered greatly at the hands of the council, and the wannabe rulers of the council. I myself, was kidnapped by one of the rabid groups that plagued this City. For what? We learned was our legal business interest in the docks and shipping. Not all are corrupt but the Drovenge family...they are!"

Trent looks at the two women then laughs suddenly, "Oh my, you are so right and how ungentlemanly of us to suggest that you immediately go to House Grulios before a proper bath." He glances over at Areal, then states, "I will advise the families that you will appear in three hours time to discuss our current situation."

When the party moves from the gate, your group is surrounded in a protective formation, "We would have arrived sooner but the city is still in chaos with all the checkpoints." Looking at Daniel, "Your brother would like for you meet him at House Grulios."

"Thank you for your service Gerard, my sister will be..." he pauses, "...pleased."

I'll post something before we leave to get you all roleplaying a bit.

Once everyone leaves the sewer system and make there way back to gate that separates the ruined district from the main of the city, you can see that there is commotion of sorts a that the gate. When you arrive, Areal is there with a mixed contingent from the Tilernos and Miseppe house guards and they look none to happy.

"Open this damn gate or you will be dealt with harshly lieutenant"

The crooked Lieutenant sneers then nods approval to his two squads.

Trent and his father are very appreciative with the weapons that are presented. The quality of the blades and the explanation behind each weapons purpose is enlightening. Each nodding that they understand that they are not mere weapons but their was a logical reason why each was chosen. Trent receives the gifts and immediately starts to practice.

His father has already made arrangements for the weapons payment. He mentions that Gruum's shop will busy with some new equipment for his house guards.

He does inquire about his son's training.

Lucrezia you do see that Trent has some skill in wielding two weapons, his hands and feet are quick but he developed many bad habits over the years. He does take to the gentleman's rapier and soldiers short sword with their balance and weight pretty easily. He scoffs a bit about using a dagger as a primary or a secondary weapon...its just not distinguished enough in his mind.

After some explanation and demonstration he realizes he was mistaken.

One of my favorite NPCs I've used while DMing was a Fighter/Nibbleknife a kick butt dagger wielder.

Trent speaks to Lucrezia "I'm not a devastating type of fighter, I don't see me myself like John, or even Duncan, but I have some speed. At least I think I do quick multiple attacks." He nods.
