I hope your aim was to make Asgar an intelligent opponent who learned how to counter us. Kind of amazing he learned the Deflect Arrows feat just in time to shut down the archers :)

As this character relies on steal, illusions and invisibility it sucked to watch him see through everything in 2 rounds. By then the crowd surrounded and smited me. I will say the crowd of people who could smite was a cool idea.

Those Will Saves were pretty potent, but that's the usual problem with a single big bad: either they die quickly or they kill you fast.

"Mary, I pressume? Thank you. We were in pretty bad shape. We should make our way to Harum as soon as possible. How much do we owe you?"

She looks at Carlaya. "I was worried about you. Good to see you after... she promised?" She holds her head steady, like a violent headache as she tries to recall details she was not meant to know. "Let's go. In a few days we can try to get Rags back."

The Maiden almost groans when she sees the evil thing on the pedestal. "We should destroy that thing."

She keeps her wand at the ready and sees if she can heal Renee and Ed. She frowns as she applies the wand to Renee. "He has... returned to Desna. Abaddar was ready to judge me, but you brought me back. Thank you, Carlaya."

"We will get them out of here, to a proper temple. I hope Tae and Zira are resting easy... wherever they are." She falls silent as she gives a silent prayer.

"Also, I have no idea how we're going to leave here. Too many teleporters for my taste."

Charis casts Invisibility on herself and on Renee. She then casts Major Image and lets the illusion fill the southern wall.
I can cover 11 10x10 foot cubes. It will start about 10 feet above the ground. Will Save 16 to disbelieve, once they interact with it.

From the wall bursts forth a hideous creature, full of tentacles and teeth. Its screams are inhumane. Its muscles match the veiny musculature found throughout the cavern.

It should be perfect.

And with that, the Maiden creeps forward, hoping to buy the party some time.

Invisible stealth, let's go. The Maiden can Fast Stealth at speed 30. She'll continue to spend her standard action to concentrate on the illusion.

I have Fast Stealth, so I can move at 30 ft while sneaking around without penalty. However, I must spend a standard action to maintain my Major Image illusion.

I wonder how they got those evil points... I did like how the larvae started up by bluffing their intelligence.

Reanimating bodies always yucks me out. Cool idea to have them hang from the ceiling.
