Everyone seems to be talking about running with high dex, but a basic human could start with 16 Str and Int, heavy armor proficiency and weapon focus-basic melee, And could run around with an injection glove and some grooved shuriken. Level 3 pick up versatile focus and you could do a decent amount of damage in combat.

Maybe not the most optimal build, but possible, right?

If you were willing to hold off on versitile specialization, Elbarians would get you some extra Stamina with their con boost.

Anyone have any thoughts?

I'm going to try out a STR biohacker this weekend. I'll let you know how it goes. Here is my lvl 4 build

Kasathan Biohacker 4
STR 18 (pers mod) DEX 11 CON 10 INT 8 WIS 18 CHA 10
F/R/W 4/1/5
EAC: 17 KAC: 18
Ghoulish Painclaw: +8 (d8+8)
Standard Taclash: +3 (d4) -- this is just so I threaten squares with reach
Shuriken Grooved: +8(d8+8)
Dragon Gland wyrmling: 15ft cone 3d6 cold damage DC:12

Feats:
Heavy Armor Proficiency
Coordinated Shot

Wearing Basic Formian Hide with Jump Jets and Thrower Arms

Field of Study: Toxicology to sicken enemies or give myself a +2 bonus against melee attacks
Theorem: Painful Injections (how I'm getting the +8 to damage. I'm assuming I never full attack. Can't with the painclaw anyways)
And I'm going to get Toxic Skin because it sounds hilarious. I really hope it magically comes into play

In general, I think studious is better than instinctive, but I also think you really need a race based dump stat to make this class any good. Or maybe that's just my internal min-maxer rearing its ugly head again. Either way, I don't think this is going to be the best character you can make, but it will be fun.
