Am I the only person excited that Christopher J. Priest (the former Jim Owsley) is writing two monthly titles now? He pretty much went into self-imposed exile after the end of "The Crew" and "Captain America and the Falcon" in the early 2000s, but recently returned to write "Deathstroke" for DC and "Inhumans" for Marvel.
Has anyone else played this 3.5 adventure? My daughter (just turned 11) has expressed interest in gaming, so my wife, son, daughter and I rolled up a Warlock (3.5 Complete Arcane), a druid (because he's in a druid mood after playing Neverwinter Nights), a 2-handed greatsword fighter (because it is fairly easy for an 11-year-old to play), and a rogue. We started this adventure yesterday, made it six or seven rooms into the laboratory without much trouble before facing an evil hobgoblin cleric and his three skeleton minions that *almost* resulted in a TPK. We're talking "pour the CLW potion down the throat at -9 HP after the battle" kind of thing. Anyway, the party holed up for the night in one of the side rooms and we'll clear out the rest of the first "dungeon" soon. My daughter had a good time, and is looking forward to playing again.
Total vanity post, but after 12 years off-and-on (mostly off) playing "Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance" for the GameCube I *finally* unlocked Drizzt Do'Urden as a playable character. Yes I'm slow, but persistence pays off!
