Clip for this weekend's episode.

Spoiler:
I just had a really funny thought about why Quibble was noted as hating Daring Do when he's wearing a costume based on her. He's one of those nitpicky, super critical fans. I bet he got mad because the series took a turn he didn't like... and I think I know what it was. Wouldn't it be ironic if it was the book Rainbow appeared in that soured him on Daring Do? "Why's this rainbow-maned Mary Sue assisting Daring Do?! Daring is supposed to work alone!!"

I'm so glad tomorrow is the end of the hiatus! Also looking forward to October 1st, when Legend of Everfree releases. Oh, trailer for EqG: Legend of Everfree. Man did that raise some questions and hype.

Sorry about the double post, but it's too late to edit my prior one.

New Season 6 promo! It's all new footage too.

Promo speculation:
Looks like Spike's not only important to "Dungeons and Discord," he's playing a major role in "Times They Are a Changeling." If they live up to "Gauntlet of Fire" and his part in "The Crystalling" Season 6 will have really been the season of Spike. (I'm happy to finally see him getting decent and consistent writing and not turning into an idiot when he's the focus.)

Speaking of "Times They Are a Changeling"... I wonder if Spike's kindness will lead to that Changeling defecting, and eventually laying the groundwork for others to do so. If Chrysalis is the finale villain... maybe other Changelings will have enough after she loses and start leaving en masse. I honestly don't see Chrysalis ever reforming. But individual Changelings are probably a different story.

I decided to grab the Cerulean Seas stuff. It looks like it'd be nice to read through, even if I'll probably never get to use it. (I seem to have a thing for picking up third party campaign settings to read.)

I hope I get to use some of this to revise my one kitsune character. Her color scheme is a bit different. She's based on a different fox than the red most kitsune art goes for. (Silver fox, to reflect the fact she's a ninja and red doesn't really work with stealth.)

I played a gem pony paladin devoted to her setting's goddess of magic, knowledge, and friendship. Cheerful, naive, nerdy and kind of klutzy. (I'm still sad her game died. I had such plans for her.)

Remember that younger folk don't have the boredom with classical choices. It's all new and fresh.

As you get older you want more choices and so your horizons expand. Mixing genres, grabbing content from other styles and pop culture, it's all part of the same effect.

And it's magic. It doesn't have to make sense. As long as it is enjoyable and you have fun, go with it. If that means you're playing My Little Pony and Friendship is Magic...there's a Campaign for That.

The existence of the Ponyfinder campaign setting is what drew me into Pathfinder in the first place.

Good to see this is finally done. Though there is hilarity in how some of the classes you developed parallel some ideas Paizo ended up doing as well. (The Vigilante class and its archetypes, especially the magical child.)

Elementalist class from Silver Games LLC. Says it's an Oracle/Fighter hybrid class. The art is Everglow/Ponyfinder specific, but Everglow art has always looked nice.

It was actually a third party campaign setting that drew me to Pathfinder in the first place. (Mostly the draw of it letting you play some very unusual races.)

Oooh, a book for playable unicorns? That ought to be fun. (There are some other of your "In the Company of" books I need to get around to buying.) I'm kind of a sucker for playing weird races. (I backed the "In the Company of Dragons" kickstarter and already own the orignal version of that book. Also a person who backed the Ponyfinder kickstarters.)

I know there are some other people who are fond of this setting, so I'm going to link the newest Kickstarter-Ponyfinder: Forgotten Past. It's going to touch on some of the pre-Empire history of Everglow, which I'm looking forward to.

I decided to jump in and back this... pretty much because of the henshin hero, sparkle princess and magical girl stuff. I always did get a kick out of Power Rangers and I love magical girls. I apparently really like the weird and unusual things. *backed the Ponyfinder campaign setting, after all*

While I've not read all the way through yet, I'm not seeing anything overly broken. Unless you count advice that recommends you take Spell Focus (Conjuration) and Augment Summoning if you want to summon things as overpowered min-maxing.

Well, wonder no more. We have an air date! April 4! And an additional trailer. Doesn't just preview the opener, but includes a couple of tidbits for two other episodes.

Ponies for Pathfinder is the old book. The current version is Ponyfinder. Which includes more than just races now, it's a campaign setting. Two mini-books (PDF-only), Flights of Honor(adding some additional details for Pegasi) and Forgotten Gods of Everglow (detailing two lost Everglow goddesses and hints how they may be returned), have also been released. There's also a second full book in play-testing devoted to the griffons.

(Why, yes, Ponyfinder is how I got attracted to Pathfinder in the first place. I supported the Ponyfinder kickstarter and the griffon book kickstarter.)

For me, it comes from the Khajiit in the Elder Scrolls series. And it's just fun to be something different. (It's also why I like kitsune.)

If you're interested in something really unusual check out Ponyfinder's campaign setting, Everglow. (One book so far, with a second being worked on.)
