Now I Understand Why Telepathy Would Suck.

1/5

Argh. This is the second book like this that he's done. Constantly shifting between first person perspective ends up making the book disjointed, clunky, and often confusing. Since ALL the main characters are always referring to themselves, it became easy to confuse whose thoughts went with whom. Likewise, the shifting of perspectives made it nearly impossible to ever form any attachments to any of the characters, since you never stayed in any of their heads long enough to really feel anything for them. Overall, this book felt amateurish. So much so that I felt like I was paying full price for a somebody's badly written fan-fic. I'm starting to regret having a subscription.
