Lol Sorry The last couple of weeks have been a whirlwind School ends Electrical work begins No rest for the weary But things have mellowed and I'm going to try and jump back in. Got 40 posts to read and catch up on!
So I'm back from vacation. My daughter and I went to New England for a few days to visit family and had a great time. I was able to introduce some of my family to a style of board games that they have never seen before. They have only ever done stuff like Monopoly and Scrabble. I introduced them to Flash Point: Fire Rescue and Pandemic. When they said "Lets play the fire game" over and over again, I realized I had them hooked. Hopefully I brought some new members to the hobby :) I'm going to catch up on what I missed and hope to get back in to posting.
I was busy all day yesterday and unable to get to a device to check out the goings on here. I wake up this morning and all I could do was stare at what I saw. I was quite apprehensive to join this game. I had no idea what to expect. Since I had never played the game nor a play by post (something like it but not on this level)it was all a little nerve wracking to me. But now... Holy cow am I glad I joined! You guys are truly amazing! The last 4 or 5 posts, brilliant. And this is just the prologue? Words cannot express how excited I am to see what happens to this group. Hopefully, one day, I can write something that lives up to one tenth of the brilliance that I have seen so far. Like Nosa, I have much to learn. |
