They're in "Paizo Inc.: Rulebooks"

That's a terrible description for the second edition only Roleplaying books. First edition labelled pretty badly too; "Paizo Inc.: First Edition". But every old book including the settings books are first edition. This is supposed to be the RPG category.

They need to be titled uniformly...

Paizo Inc.: Pathfinder RPG First Edition

Paizo Inc.: Pathfinder RPG Second Edition

... or something like that.

Anyone with a large digital library is going to have trouble finding it, especially when the title of the books aren't even labelled to distinguish between 1e and 2e.

I was very excited to see that the Star Trek Adventures RPG: Core Rulebook Collector's Edition from Modiphius finally shipped. I recieved it today to a little surprise. It wasn't the Collector's Edition that was shipped to me, just the standard edition.

I received in the mail today an envelope that made me smile, the Paizo holiday card. Thankyou paizo gnomes and goblins!

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you all!

Nothing, too invested now.

If they start releasing or breaking the existing game for a "new" system I'm out. Pathfinder has dwarfed my 3.5 collection and by far is my largest setting. A "new" system screws all that up.

I agree, if you guys have played D&D before you can just grab up the core book and a level 1 adventure and go. If you're all completely new, WELCOME!, and go with the beginner box.

I'm just gonna go for the gusto here...

I think it's because rpgs are usually design by men and a sexy goddess of love is more appealing.

Thanks Vic. This is great. Would love to try the game - will there be a single player / offline mode?
Nope—the main goal of Pathfinder Online is maximizing meaningful human interaction. (That doesn't rule out *other* Pathfinder electronic games that offer single-player experiences... but it's not in the plan for this one.)

I know I would enjoy a strong story driven experience. Baldur's Gate and Torment are two of my favorite games of all time.

Very much agreed and seconded. I would like to see a Varisa sourcebook. As well as some of the older 3.5 material on areas of the world updated as well.

And that there lies the biggest problem with "Pathfinder 2.0."

If a new edition of the rules came out Paizo would be in the position to either start rehashing the popular material from the old edition or continue to push on introducing new stuff.

Either solution isn't good because it means you abandon crowds edition war crowds. I for one would not adopt a new edition because I feel I'm too invested in the current edition of the inner sea and have no interest in purchasing all this material again.

I did it with Forgotten Realms and had my heart broken with 4e and the Spell Plague.

Taverns and Inns would be wonderful... heck, bring on the Brothels and Feasthalls too!

I would still like to see these books continue as a series with additional volumes.

Time travel. Have the pcs unwittingly try to stop or be the cause of one of the major events in the history of Inner Sea/Golarion.

Did you not see Pacific Rim... fortifying the town won't work. The only way to stop it is to confront it with giant mecha!

I jumped into Pathfinder right off the bat by converting my subscription of Dragon over to Pathfinder. I can tell you I don't receive any special treatment. Paizo treats all their customers the same, whether they're new or old, liked valued customers.

Received monthly sub order today and delighted to find the new catalog in it. I'll be honest, I love these little books and hope Paizo never stops making them. They're wonderful to look at.. even if I get a lot of it. :)

I really REALLY doubt everyone who bought a 3.5 version would shell out the same amount of money for a PFRPG version, since they'd be so close in content.

This right here.

Paizo might be able to convince me to buy a Pathfinder RPG conversion of D0, D1, D1.5, and D4 in a compilation book. But that's about it and since we know Paizo doesn't want to do compilation books, they'll never have a reprinted module I'd be interested in rebuying. :)

Something tells me the bonuses more have to do with marrying to wealth and "established nobility" as opposed to have your own limited "by the sword" resources.

Think along the lines of marrying a Trade Prince's daughter or a warmongering Duke's son. Gold and richs vs soldiers and arms.

Offering a collected volume of each AP would be encouraging people *not* to buy volumes as they come out. If there's one thing you should take away from everything I've said in this thread, it's that that's a *very* bad strategy for us.

I'm still holding out hope that Paizo prints an Anniversary compilation of Rise of the Runelords with perhaps updated rules. :)

Here's hoping Paizo never EVER becomes a publicly traded company. I'd hate to see what would become of it if some mega toy making conglomerate's bean counters were to suddenly have a say in it's product line design.

It's not a bad question, Paizo's given their suggestions for both Ptolus and Freeport. Hehe, I even placed them on the Golarion map when I was making my unofficial atlas.. before it got shut down.

ANYWAYS..

The unofficial-official location would be in Nex. South of Quantium on the coast, but north of the Mana Wastes. There's a little like peninsula just north of the Wastes that would suit it perfect.

(BTW Freeport was on the south west corner of the little island just west of the Eye of Abendego.)

A bard gets kicked out of a tavern for singing a song about her. The PCs witness it. If they talk to the bard, well they get the info and perhaps a free buff it's time right and her resings the song to them. ;)

So I downloaded the PDF, I really like what I've previewed so far. The maps are great looking and a lot of the history looks interesting. I can't wait to get the printed version to read it thoroughly.

Find Andoran along the Inner Sea. Follow the river running through Andoran from the sea north. You'll find Falcon's Hollow.

You need the Gazetteer map, but this will do alright for now.

http://paizo.com/image/content/PathfinderChronicles/GolarionMap.jpg

That's the blog's preview map, the Gazetteer's map was changed since that was posted. So it's in the right area but the geography around Falcon's Hollow has changed.

I don't know if this is a good or bad way to put it, but I will. It's funny how homosexuality is more taboo then orc on woman rape, someone on demon unions, and so on.

It's not really a trap, it's just playing off the whole fantasy thing. No, I don't mean traditional sword & sorcery fantasy, I mean male heterosexual fantasies.

We've already altered the world so that Falcon's Hollow is within a boat ride to Sandpoint James. ;)

As for Lvl 4, easy enough to deal with, strip the PCs of some magic loot so they have to buy mundane stuff, and add 2 or 3 goblins to each encounter.

Pathfinder Roleplaying Game Charter Superscriber; Pathfinder Starfinder Adventure Path, Starfinder Roleplaying Game, Starfinder Society Subscriber

Simple, if you have them run the entire adventure, have one of the children they save mention they saw a demon woman with red hair (Naulia) talking to the kobolds and overheard her say she had to "return to Sandpoint before the celebration begins" instead of the Campaign seeds listed on page 26. The PCs can then take a boat to Sandpoint.

Remember though pathfinder 1 is a level 1 adventure so you might want to run a little water adventure that only has a bad ending to rob them of any magic items they'd have that would make Pathfinder 1 too easy. Items get lost at sea all the time when monsters wreck ships. ;)

Sadly they haven't really said, maybe we the Pathfinder accessories come out we'll get more details.

Not that it's necessarily true, but if you look at the northern and eastern boarders of the map in the Player's Guide, it really seems like the geography of the area is setup to cut that part of the world off from the rest without using boat or taking a perilously journey through the mountains.

In any case, we could speculate that the "Hollow Mountains" on the island in the western part of the Varisian Gulf are the "Falcon's Hollow Environs" seen on the Last Hope map if you really want to make the Last Hope adventure a lead into the Pathfinder adventures. :)
