Grand Master Guardian Aberforth maintains the tradition that as steel is tempered and beaten to grow in resilience, so must those that are tasked with the sacred calling to protect their kind. Having recently completed his primary catechism, young Emberforge looks forward to the next step of his training: the world, where he expects all manner of trials and tribulations. He relies on the holy teachings of Torag and the training received from the Master Guardians, who went on and returned many years before Emberforge’s initiation to the order. The tests that promoted him from Initiate to Apprentice required much study (in which he toiled heartily) and a grasp of blacksmithing (in which he discovered adept skill). With self-made armor and weapons, the young dwarf passed the test of combat, and proceeded on to the final and most important trial: one of the heart. To the pride of the Emberforge clan, the young Togril emerged victorious, and Grand Master Aberforth presented him and the other trainees to the High King, Archpriest, and the rest of the Elder Council for blessing.
Now, young Sir Togril Seamus Emberforge, son of Kogril Sean Emberforge and Holy Apprentice Guardian of the Forge, embarks on a journey with the expectation that Torag will guide his actions, until the Master Craftsman deems him fit to return to his people.

Imbue the weak with strength. Shield the defenseless. That which threatens to break our spirits will find our hammers ready.
