| Sir Rhaym . |
OCC: Well thank you for that Ciri but I the player do not fully comprehend how that would change Rhaym's current position. He has been accused of being a coward by this Mother of the Masses when she should obviously know that he has not in any way been such a thing. As she should be fully aware of his actions as well as his intentions but seems not to be so.
Rhaym is filled with understanding and knowledge that he previously did not have or simply did not remember. Of that, what he could understand and interlize he did, thus making him feel even stronger in his current righteousness in the face of the wrongful condemnation by the Mother of the Masses and he stands firmly looking at her in his more complete understanding of his current position and her wrongful, for whatever reason, condemnation of his recent actions. He simply turns his head slightly in Ciri's direction and says, "Thank you princess for that gift, and I feel for your loss and thank you that you would share that with me. Perhaps I might fill the missing shoes of your brother and stand by you as needed when needed as I have already been trying to do."
OCC: As a player I appreciate what the player of Ciri is doing but I puzzle over the seemingly constant condemnation by the dm to their players, not just me but all the players. Condemning the player's characters in-game to me is a woefully wrong thing to do especially considering that nearly all role players have or had some issues with self-esteem which is what interested them (knowingly or unknowingly) in role playing games to begin with (understand the psychology of roleplayers). Further constantly degrading the characters and thus their players is not a good way to make the game enjoyable for them and will lead (or already has led) to folks deciding to depart the game rather than continue to suffer the indirect abuse being put forth by the person that should be the most interested in keeping this game alive, the one that is running it. I would remind said person that there is no game without players and that players usually out number the one running the game on at least a two to one basis making the players at least twice as important to the game as the single person running it. I seriously hope this reminder helps this game in some way.
