Sir Hayden Greyrun is a knight of Taldor and a sworn Paladin of Sarenrae, the goddess of healing. He grew up in Taldor, the son of a master-at-arms to Lord Reyes, a minor lord but one known for his specialized archer-knights. Hayden was knighted at 25 for his service to Lord Reyes in the Battle of the Thornbush. He served Lord Reyes for 10 years before joining Sarenrae’s service. He joined the Pathfinders after running into a group of them during a search for the Lady Anilah Salhar. They helped him find the Lady and in return he joined their ranks. With his service, the Dawnflower Goddess has granted him a portion of her power directly and charged him to spreading her grace to others.


Unlike many other Paladins, Hayden prefers the bow to heavy armor and a shield. He carries a scimitar like all faithful of Sarenrae though just in case. He’s an older man, his youth spent in Taldor. Now, having decided to serve Sarenrae directly, he tries to keep his jadedness at bay while using his experience to help others. He believes in the duty of the nobility and the obligation they have to do what others are powerless to do.
