Hi guys! Posting it on all my pbps.

Our offshore team at work is very affected by the pandemic at the moment and with the fiscal year approaching to an end, our reduced capacity is terribly affecting my time. For the next several weeks it will likely impact me in such way that I simply won't be able to keep up with the forums, things normalizing only as we start approaching mid June.

For the games where I play, GMs please feel free to bot the characters. If you don't desire to bot me for so long, I completely understand, apologize for the late notice and wish you all the best of fun. If you hold me around, though, I should be back after this storm.

For the games where I host, my sincerest apologies to the players - I won't let you hanging so if you stick around until my return we will give it continuation as normal. Otherwise, please message me and once I'm back I'll recruit replacements.

To everybody, I'm sorry for the late notice and I hope we will continue playing together once I'm back!

I'm not that good! - he whispers, nodding towards Kyrie - Besides, a stealthy group is just as good as its weaker link!

With that said, he moves with the other two, as quick as he can, bow in hands. He would check for traps before entering the building, but the screams inside force their hand to be hastier.

Shogunto nods in agreement with Merixia as she says she's ready, then immediately moves back into scouting the area as the group advances. The ranger tries to use his trained eyes for lookup, while at the same time carefully tries to keep the team safe from any traps on the way.

A little more satisfied - though still uncomfortable with the suffering of all those people - Shogunto agrees with the others, and promptly shares a couple days of his rations as well. ... had more time, we could maybe try to hunt or forage something together., he spoke towards the survivors.

Well, I understand your point on the defense of Kenabres. Focusing on saving the world... These things. - he starts - ... but, at the same time... And despite how you might interpret our employment, I particularly joined the crusades for the little people. The neglected ones. I am not inclined to go venture the city in the hopes of finding more people in need until we can't actually give these townsfolk here a little bit of safety - even if it means traveling with them some days to find a place to settle and rest. A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush - if we turn our back to these commonfolks now, they might be attacked again without protection and at the same time we might end up in Kenabres and not find anyone else to save.

The half-orc didn't want to disagree with the others, but they were all evenly ranked - so he had to put up his viewpoint. At the same time, however, he didn't much care for the prisoners at this point - bigger fishes to fry - so he just let Kyrie deal with them as it would please him.

Shogunto breathes deeply. He's immeasurably sad, feeling pain about each of his lost colleagues, the death of a honorable silver dragon, but especially all the innocent lives. It's somewhat his fault that they weren't here; and while this likely saved their lives, this also meant other lives they could have saved were lost.

We have a duty towards these people to take them to some sort of safety. - the half-orc finally spoke to his fellow crusaders - Yet, as soon as they're delivered somewhere they can rebuild, we should come back and fight. I... I will come back and fight, no matter how desperate the fight or how lost the cause.

The ranger was genuinely troubled - his heroic words of sacrifice were sincere, and there was even hope in his tone that people could still be saved in Kenabres, and that the demons could still be pushed back.

Shogunto breaks the concerned face with a smile and gently pats Kyrie back. In truth, the half-orc was relieved that his failure hadn't cost the group their lives, besides losing the Armasse. He knew he'd listen about it for the years to come, but at least they all still had their limbs in place.

The trapper stays back and look with curiosity as the townsfolk group approaches. Old Deadeye bless!, he thinks, a little ashamed that for an instant he tapped his bow in a paranoid reflex, and then silently waits as the others check on them.

That works too. I always like starting from a low position and growing from there, but I like Kyrie's angle too. Honestly, bands of crusaders are probably larger than 4 people, though. Unless we were sent in a message far from Kenabres and went on a small group to travel faster.

As for horses, I didn't buy any. I can certainly afford one (and should review my purchases too before the game starts). I'll just wait on the direction we decide to go and finish with these details on the sheet.

My idea: I think some months together would be good! Maybe three or four. Our crusading unit was probably much larger, but the four of us are the last survivors from it. No prisoners - we lost the battle and fled! Without our horses or any good way to get back in time, we had to be moving slowly and hiding from the pursuers, and arrived to Kenabres only on the 17th after finally losing them.

Archlich here! Changing my submission to another one. This is a character I create a long time ago for a different Wrath of the Righteous. I adapted him for the rules here as I think he might fit well, especially with the whole "probably not as mythic" thing :) He works as a guide and trapper/trapfinder, contributing in combat with ranged damage and other toys from the ranger kit. Unfortunately, though, no spells for him, but I believe he can be useful anyway!

Uninterested in working as a leader, Shogunto follow with the others with Lay Z. When the short man finally asks about weapons, the Human replies slowly.

As my colleague mentioned... I could use a suit of armor. Something light, probably, would be better. As for weapons, anything simple. Even just a spear would fit me fine.

Although his voice is humble, it's fairly clear he doesn't tremble. His behavior has something more controlled, calculated; his hands don't shake, but his fingers seem to snap in every gesture he makes. He looks deeply in the officer's eyes, and something about the frail young man seems to spell danger. It's not comfortable to be on his presence.

Shogunto was a frail young man, shy and covered by rugged clothes. His expectations for life were never great, yet it all became worse when he first had the episodes involving the mysterious outsider that takes over his body and fuses with him. As time passed he learned to control it and understand better the arcane powers which came with the "curse".

Their friendship was all that sustained the teenager from being bullied into death, and that's where he took his strength from; yet, he knew somehow a day like that would come. With his humble origins, it was actually kind of a blessing in disguise to see that his life was sold to help feed his impoverished family.

Seeing the people around him taking positions and stances, the human just tried to fade more in his corner. He moved his hands with delicacy, remembering the arcane words, but didn't cast any spells or even tried to fuse with his eidolon - instead preferring to simply pray for the best to happen to his now far away family.

I got the Mindsword archetype, but just to be able to throw my weapon (and have some utility while ranged too) - I don't care about any of the psychic babble and don't plan on using any of it (so, GM, please feel free to cut it out the archetype). I gave him "Profession Driver" imagining we might need a "pilot" of sorts for our piracy (instead of Profession Sailor, I guessed - let me know if I did wrong).

Shogunto is a Ranger/Druid. The "Hunter" thing is just because of the feat "Shapeshifting Hunter" that confuses me, so I dumbtyped it wrong. Shogunto will keep evolving in both - I think two more levels of Ranger and everything else druid, something on these lines. :)


I submit Shogunto here for appreciation. I'm still working on his backstory, but wanted at least to dot here and show what's in place already. Shogunto is a Hunter/Druid: he packs trapfinding and survival skills, and fights in melee with natural attacks. Thanks for the opportunity :)

Shogunto merges back with his familiar. Tired, the half-Orc sits on the floor to meditate, and murmurs a prayer to Pharasma. The Lady is happy today. He remains then silent, closed eyes, waiting for the others. It looks as if he's "digesting" some unwanted food, very uncomfortable with it. The air around him is again heavy, dense as death itself.
