You’re right. Clearly I need to fight Josh and Alex to the death so I can be the only one.

Is "prophesiers" typo for prophecies?

Nope; prophesiers are the people who make prophecies.

I'd love to dive back in this season but wish there was a recap of some sorts of the developments since Year One Second Edition? The only thing I recall from Year One is the Mosquito Witch.

Either way, looking forward to the new season!

On the Pathfinder Society site, there's a section called "the Story so Far" which gives a brief recap of each season!

If this also means that scenarios without this tag will on average have more mature content, then I'm all here for it and will consider re-subbing

All of our scenarios will continue to follow the Pathfinder baseline, which Aaron helpfully linked above! :)

I am vaguely curious whether the new name is because "half-orc" was feared to be an infringement on WOTC or because the devs felt they just deserved their own name.

I suggested horcs and was shot down u_u

Picking a non-goofy tier 1-4 scenario is hard now. I get that they open the audience to kids and such but there are still people out there who crave the classic PFS experience.

The Island of the Vibrant Dead is levels three through six. :)

Woo.

I see we're already set with 10 metaplot scenarios, but it feels a little much to me if we're getting under 20 total scenarios for the season.

One of the strengths of orgwnized play is its episodic nature and this high % of meta plot feels like its erroding away at that a bit.

That said, I love connections and the occasional 2 parter and all meta all the time isn't a deal breaker, Im just whatever the opposite of excited is.

Voicing support for this. The episodic nature is the prime attractor as an alternative for AP play. I struggle to get new players invested when I have to explain half an AP's worth of plot to get them to play a 4 hour session.

Don't get me wrong, I appreciate and acknowledge the work that goes into this, but it's a detractor to OP.

Just a gentle reminder that we haven't announced how many scenarios there will be this year, nor have we actually released any of the Unfettered Exploration metaplot scenarios.

Y'all's apprehension and concern is noted, however I'd like to politely ask that we refrain from making assumptions about the season before the season even begins. I've done a lot of work with the other members of the Organized Play team to ensure that the Year of Unfettered Exploration will have something for everyone.

But yeah, I should start playing SFS especially after i helped changed a very stupid rule in it lol

As a gentle reply to this, when we change rules we often spend a long time handling them and figuring out how best to correct something, though we always appreciate players bringing things to our attention. However, repeatedly referring PFS standards and rules that were previously listed as "stupid" does come across as unkind and perhaps gives the impression that you're unwilling to listen to those with differing thoughts or opinions.

Representation and inclusion. Not an easy thing to do and get right.

We have Iconics that represent several different sexual orientations.

We have Iconics with physical disabilities - Alahazra who is mostly blind due to the Oracle curse, and Droven who has a prosthetic arm.

Do we have any Iconics with mental disabilities though? Any who are openly Autistic, or suffer with PTSD or Depression? ADHD? Schizophrenia? Anything?

Or is that still too much of a hot topic to try and get representation and inclusion for?

Kyyduh the evolutionist iconic in Starfinder has ADHD.

I've been pronouncing it Kye-duh, but Kee-dah or Kee-duh may also be appropriate!
