I should be good to finish out this level, but I'm trimming my games down a lot, so I'll be withdrawing once we're done.

Shabah stirs in the swirls of their blood and lashes out in wounded fury!

If the door opens that'll change Shabah's turn. If it's open and seems like a better place for airbreathers, then they'll push Yanda on through and try to catch and redirect anyone else coming down the corridor.

Shabah continues to jet ahead of their companions, trying to spot where the current was sweeping them towards!

Shabah moves along with the flow, swimming further ahead to make certain that no one gets swept into anything nasty.

Ah, I just got turned around and thought that the door the west was a, uh, 'water closet.' In that case Shabah will have headed over to see where everyone's being swept too.

Shabah isn't too troubled by the sudden rush of water, their mighty limbs and careful shapeshifting giving them plenty of power where they lack expertise.

Shabah is happy to take the lead in exploration once Alahazra is fully prepared. Potion of Mage Armor and a casting of Bless on the party

Shabah resurfaces from their underwater inspections. "I expect that this floor is sometimes drained, or was in the past. Else it's hard to guess what the grates in the floor might be for..."

Good to continue on to the unopened door back in the mud-room!

Shabah's fangs contort into a small, pleased grin. "A pleasure to see your ordinance in action, Ms. Yanda."

They swim through the assorted debris, keeping a wary eye on the portal.

"Unfortunately such portals are far from my areas of expertise, but I will see what can be determined."

Shabah takes the lead, armor freshly anointed 3 uses down so far as they splash their way into the room, tentacles spread out in a pale imitation of a true Cecaelia's sensory net.

Shabah nods wearily, and propels themself towards the western door with contractions of their many tentacles. "I can continue, for a time. There is no need to withdraw on my account."

Shabah can't respond through the mouthful of mud, but their straining back muscles certainly look confident?

It's definitely fuzzy, but here's James Jacobs talking about aquatic natural attacks not being affected.
The relevant rules text to hang that ruling on is that the penalties are described as applying to "The rules presented in the Pathfinder RPG Core Rulebook for underwater combat apply to creatures not native to this dangerous environment [i.e. underwater]" and "Land-based creatures can have considerable difficulty when fighting in water."

Shabah's altered eyes widen in surprise and distaste at the surprising creature.

Shabah fishes out their wand and offers it to whoever is willing to use it.

Hey - before the swarm of diminutive, non-splash-damageable crabs things were going great :-p

Shabah emerges, dripping and displeased, their mass of tentacles not quite as fast on land as they were while swimming.

Shabah, looking far more like the form they had met their companions in than when they had been a cyclopean monster, is somewhat nonplussed by Yanda's question.

But also, their mouth is still too covered by crabs to reply...

Vile!

The crabs crawling all over Shabah discomfited them far too much to bear, so they withdrew, hoping to draw the crustaceans to dry land where Yanda might make short work of them.

Brow creasing in concern over the fragmented nature of their expedition, Shabah sets themself to tearing apart the offending elemental.

Shabah concentrates and their body shifts once more. Their eye splits back into two, their wings fold back up into shoulder muscles, and their legs divide into countless wriggling tentacles. Their tusks were longer, and claws still sprouted from their hands, but all in all they looked much more like the form they had first greeted their new colleagues in - except the tentacles...

"It seems my preferred battle form may not be of as much use in this flood."

Shifting to a Cecaelia for the swim speed; I'll be real sad if I need to go back to flying later today :-/
