I did tie one PCs bootlaces together. He was a friend and could not find five minutes to make a post. I would also give him absence seizures with a drool. Nothing I did to him would shake him. LOL. Guess what happened when he hid behind a pony.

All true, Farod. And why a disguise? I think he is just reinforcing his lack of sanity.

1 person marked this as a favorite.

Ardran, you have now twice indicated a misunderstanding of perception and aid another. I am not here to learn the game for you but I did find the time on this one. tl;dr yes you can LOL

You can help someone achieve success on a skill check by making the same kind of skill check in a cooperative effort. If you roll a 10 or higher on your check, the character you’re helping gets a +2 bonus on his or her check. (You can’t take 10 on a skill check to aid another.) In many cases, a character’s help won’t be beneficial, or only a limited number of characters can help at once.In cases where the skill restricts who can achieve certain results, such as trying to open a lock using Disable Device, you can’t aid another to grant a bonus to a task that your character couldn’t achieve alone. The GM might impose further restrictions to aiding another on a case-by-case basis as well.

Thanks, Farod. I will be glad to do that standing order. No problem checking every door or anything obvious for traps. If it is neither, I will need player input.

I keep a text file for each game as GM and as a player. I put the link to the map there with all the other stuff I have going on.

Awesome, Mister Henry. Farod is fine unless he is chosen for the first table. That would become unfun imo. Same build rules. Anything Paizo and no third party. That is exactly how I have chosen players in the past.

I am leaning toward doing this, but it is a commitment that cannot be undone. You may have your answer in a day or two.

I am giving it due consideration. It is a commitment that will always be there once I pull the trigger. The background work and graphics are done. Give me a few days to mull it over. Thanks for the encouragement.

The white haired wizard holds out his hand with a piece of bone in it. He smiles ear to ear and his face and blue eyes are lit up to an almost comical expression though that is obviously not his intent. Have you ever seen the pensive wizard show any expression at all or even a smile for that matter? "Andrathi by our side when we fight Javuhl." He maintains his excited expression and nods at the bone indicating you may resurrect it now.
"Go on now."

Heshan, that will make your fireballs stick much better. A timing thing but wanted you to be aware of that one-two possibility.

Ohrmizd, I have deadly juggernaut for you. No help with one enemy.

Omari, I am all ears if you have any ideas for you and Khedron. I spent a little time on it and all I came up with is cat's grace to boost Khedron's AC if his armor allows it (I have not checked that). Shield was my wish but the target is "you". Magic weapon on your bow... I'll look into buffs/debuffs again when time allows.

Most believe the Nightstalls are only for malicious items but that is not true. In fact, if you were to mention you were after a particular item it would appear there long before you could have found it yourself. Is there something in particular you desire to purchase at this time?" Could I interest you in a flying carpet?

I will enjoy creating this forgery with exploding runes. "You know best, Ohrmizd." Samuel equips his spring loaded wrist sheaths with a wand of shocking grasp (reach) and touch of gracelessness (reach). He taps himself with a wand of mage armor and will do so again in seven hours. He motions for Red to take to the sky and the dragon enthusiastically obeys. Samuel will move about the group always staying behind and within 40 feet of Radi to detect scrying and not be observed should such occur. He places a blank parchment in a handy pocket inside his cloak.

The heat from the morning sun creates loft for the red dragon and flight becomes near effortless. Red suddenly breaks his circular pattern. He pulls his wings in tight and dive bombs toward something to the northwest. When his altitude is low enough you can no longer see him. The dragon reappears flapping its wings with something in its claws. It drops its cargo from an altitude of 500 feet not far from you. A fawn is laid out in the sand. Red lands and begins his breakfast. "Samuel, would you like some?" He looks at Radi's head poking out of the sand. "Are you sharing that one?" The dragon rips pieces off of the fawn's carcass and swallows them.

Samuel notes the scroll looks particularly old. "What did your detect magic reveal?" He carefully unfurls the parchment. "Ah, I have seen poor imitations that looked very similar to this."

Samuel takes four small weights and places them on the four corners to keep it open on the table that he made sure is free of ale. He then produces a magnifying glass and inspects the scroll in detail. He looks at Ohrmizd with a serious expression. "The craftsmanship of this parchment is unlike any other I have seen. This was not produced anywhere near here. Where did you find it?"

Is there damage to the scroll? Do I notice anything unusual about it?

No. We are looking for you.

Current party makeup is Paladin, Shaman, and investigator.

The first post in this thread discusses the AP and character creation. We are rolling for HPs after level one.

Your wealth is that of a level one character. The party began in the boneyard and is still there. They have accumulated some items that may help you out.

Glad to have you!
