Bloodline Arcana: Vermin are susceptible to your mind-affecting spells. They are treated as animals for the purposes of determining which mind-affecting spells affect them.

Plague’s Caress (Sp): At 1st level, you can make a melee touch attack as a standard action that causes a living creature’s flesh to break out into rancid-smelling pustules and sores for a number of rounds equal to 1/2 your sorcerer level (minimum 1 round). These sores cause the victim to become sickened for the duration of the effect; this is a disease effect. You can use this ability a number of times per day equal to 3 + your Charisma modifier.

Backstory:

There is a sickness in Korvosa. Something that rots the mind and skitters between the bricks. It is a fever afflicting both spirit and flesh.

Some small part of this sickness lodge itself within young Seamus a year ago. Before he fell ill he had been one of Lamm's Lambs -- a beggar and a lookout. He had been an excellent beggar -- handsome, but underfed -- likable and pitiable all at the same time. The fever burned his body and his mind. Left him a little touched. It marked him.

Over his heart and up his shoulder a strange discoloration spread. His veins turned black there and strange whirls and sigils appeared -- in bruise-colored blues and hateful reds. Even worse his touch could bring back flashes of the fever that had struck him. When it first happened Seamus could not control it. The other Lambs feared him. They feared he would make them sick too. Where before he had been an excellent beggar, the people of Korvosa now seem loath to grant him any succor.

Lamm was not pleased. Lamm was not amused.

Lamm had the boy beaten to an inch of his life and thrown into the refuse. Any child who was not profitable was fit only to be garbage.

But the twisted and evil magic incubating within Seamus would not let him die. Over the last year, he has slowly crawled his way out of the garbage and into a sordid and impoverished life. The slightly simply boy's will to survive have been fed by one thought: This is all Lamm's fault.

Appearance and Personality:

Hair: Deep Auburn (almost brown)
Eyes: Blue
Skin: Tan
Weight: 150
Height: 5'11"

Seamus is a friendly kid in a bad situation. Charismatic, healthy, handsome -- with a good scrub it might seem like Seamus has a lot going on for him. But his fever's left him slower than he used to be, though he has developed some understanding of magic. Moreover, Seamus feels the sorcerous pestilence burn within him. He hates and fears it as much as he has come to hate and fear himself. He doesn't like to be touched or restrained. And he feels the magic slowly quickening inside of him. He doesn't want to be bad, but he thinks the power within him is evil. It's the only thing that has kept him alive so far. Is it worth using something bad if it keeps you safe?

For its part, the sorcerous pestilence has but two goals -- protect the host and grow.
