This bed should definitely be strong enough for all three of us!

The brief exchange between Lureene and the fancy little man got Sasha's attention and she tucked her legs up under her as if to plunge into a pool bottom-first. Amazingly enough, the bed didn't break and she soon came to a rest, looking up at her friend, legs crossed.

Smiling expectantly, she asked, "Can we tell him we'll take it yet?"

Lureene wrote:
"I need to talk to Grak for a few minutes. Can you keep an eye on me? I will be completely...helpless."

"Oh!" Sasha blinked in surprise as Lureene clambered up onto the tall bed, the taller woman instinctively lending her hand as she did so.

"Talk to Grak? Completely helpless?"

Wow, this place must really have her turned on!

Sasha nodded and gave Lureene an exaggerated wink, rubbing her hands together in anticipation as she reached for her friend's slender waist. "Don't you worry, your Ladyship, I'll keep you close and safe!"

Lureene wrote:
"Don't try anything funny here...this is a serious matter!"

Yet when Lureene pushed her away and shook her head, the huntress merely raised an eyebrow in confusion. "Wait, you're serious?" she asked incredulously.

Yet it soon became clear, as Lureene's body went limp, that intimate roleplay was clearly not on the enchantress' mind. With a sigh of disappointment, she scooted up against the headboard, substituting her lap in place of a pillow for her lover's head. Fingers idly playing with blonde curls, she murmured, "Don't worry, I've got you, Ellie..."

"Oh wow, there a harp inside this big black table too!"

I better test how fluffy the chairs are...

Humming softly to herself, Sasha skipped over to one of the overstuff chairs by the windows, kneeling on for a moment as she looked out the window at Victor's. "But didn't some half-blacks blow up a bunch of stuff around here? Princess Lissi was just talking about it with a bunch of old rich guys."

After plopping down in the chair, she bounced a few times to satisfy herself that it was sufficiently well-cushioned before her eyes met with an ornate harp not far away.

With a mild smile, the superintendent opened the gate onto the porch for the ladies before approaching the ornate double doors, each one bearing a lion's head knocker carved from bronze. With a flourish, he spun about a mithril key on a purple cord before thrusting it into the lock and giving it a smart turn all in one fluid motion. As the heavy doors swung inward with no noise or effort, dulcet chimes announced the new arrivals.

Inside, the group found themselves standing upon a thick round rug of ornate design within a two-story foyer of pristine marble. Ahead, twin stairways curved gracefully to an upper story, drawing one's eyes to the crystal chandeliers and recessed lights that bathing the interior in a diffuse white glow.

"Say," Sasha commented to Lureene, "this looks pretty good for a place that got all messed up, huh?"

Sasha perked up at the superintendent's means of communicating with his secretary.

Well that's handy!

The redhead nodded slightly to Lureene, as if agreeing with a question. "That's what we need!"

Tossing back the rest of her drink, she set the empty vessel back on the serving tray and hopped back to her feet, hand extended to Lureene. "Let's go see Ari's new place!"

Sasha quirked an eyebrow as she took a sip of her drink, glancing from it to Lureene, and then back at Mister Lori's coat.

This guy sure likes yellow stuff...

"Sooo, did that guy with the hat just open a new place next door or something?"

Uncharacteristically silent as she chewed on the corner of her mouth, Sasha gazed ruefully at the tokens in her hand. The letters V.I.P. had been embossed in the center, flanked by cutouts of dancing girls in profile.

"Well, maybe just one," she replied, before slipping the tokens into her belt pouch.

As Lureene engaged Mister Lori, Sasha sat quietly by her side, legs crossed and foot wagging with nervous energy as she signed and kept shifting her gaze every which way but at Victor.

You've a good thing going, Sasha, don't blow it!

Without really thinking about it, her hand sought out her friend's and she gripped it tightly. "Gee, it sure is getting late," she murmured.

Lureene OR Sense Motive DC 22:
Although Lureene could tell that Sasha dearly wished to get out here, the reason for it as yet evaded her.

Amhranai, Giles, and the Royal Guards might very well have gone unnoticed in the wake of Lureene and Angrem. All the while, Sasha hummed away, eager green eyes taking in the structure's architecture and the interesting shops that came into view as they followed.

Good old Ellie, she always gets noticed!

"This place seems really nice," she mused to no one in particular, "reminds me of the places we used to visit in the big city..."

Indeed, as they walked thru the refined structure, its walls curving to follow the plaza that turned Worship Avenue into Long Street, it became clear that the Builders had clearly surpassed their forebearers. The central plaza was wide enough for carriages to pass in each direction, a broad, landscaped median separating the sides. Outside these lanes, deep sidewalks provided ample space for foot traffic while cafés and storefronts had room enough to set out tables for their patrons beneath the overhanging balconies above.

It was to that second story that the master wainwright led everyone, up stairs of white and grey marble with intricately wrought iron railings, to an airy landing overlooking the interior. From here, large archways opened onto the exterior admitting fresh air and affording views of the Coliseum behind them. Before them, buttressed bridges, decorated in the same fashion as the stairs, crossed over the noise and bustle of the plaza to similar arches on the far side, these affording vistas of old growth trees and Bonny Swale's rice fields.

As Angrem started across the span, his arm at the service of Lady Ourson, the coolness of mist, borne on the wind from fountains below, offered refreshment from the midday heat, the droplets sparkling in shafts of sunlight from the skylights of the uppermost floor above. "Bet you can get a really good view from the roof, huh?"

Sasha hummed happily as she got dressed, her long red hair now pulled back in a tidy braid. It was a pretty good life she was enjoying, good food, excitement, comfy surroundings, and now not one but two lovers — and the new one was even good at rhymes! Yep, life was good.

"Hey, maybe you should go along as Ellie!" Sasha suggested, in response to Lureene's mention of disguises. It was only after further reflection that she added, "Oh, um... well, like the way you looked when we first met I mean. OOOH! Do you think Lissi could make you into an elf? I bet you'd like that, huh Ari?"

Indeed it wasn't long at all before the carriage conveying Lureene and her companions had returned to the Palace, Giles delivering them to the north entrance via the parade grounds. As the well-appointed vehicle was reined to a stop, Sasha hopped out and offered a hand to help her friend down. "Say, do you think Ari's gone and picked out his new place yet? If Lissi's footing the bill, it's got to be fancy, don't you think?"

I wonder if he'll have any maids or a chef or anything...

Green eyes bright, the food-splattered ranger chirped, "C'mon, let's get cleaned up so we can go visit!"

As the carriage rumbled off, Sasha lifted up Lureene's chin, face sympathetic and said encouragingly, "Well, maybe Lissi has some nice safe bad guys for us to kill. We're a lot better at that!"

Biting her lip for a moment, she chuckled and added, "That was pretty funny though. You have to admit, Grak sure knows how to make an entrance!"

Smiling, she put her arm around Lureene's shoulders and hummed contentedly, dripping fine wine the rest of the way back, giggling every now and then as she looked at the serpent laying his head on her lap.

Man, blondes really do have all the fun!

Wide-eyed, the ranger looked up from wiping caviar and pesto off her leathers. Meeting the incensed glares of a room full of guards, she exclaimed, "Wait, what?! Grak's the one who scared him, not me!"

Rolling her eyes as the dazed Baron groaned and leaned on her, Sasha shook her head and whispered to Lureene, "I tried to help, but this one's on you..."

Sasha cocked her head at Lureene, mouth agape and at a complete loss for words.

What the fvck?!

Yet even as she shook her head in frustration, trying to shoulder the groaning nobleman's bulk, the sound of guards running became apparent. "Great..."

The crack of lightning as Grak appeared caused quite the commotion. With a shout of surprise, Lord Gallo reeled back, losing his balance. In the blink of an eye, the was a loud crash, food and wine flying as he fell into the serving table behind him, thoroughly demolishing it.

So much for Plan SwapInTheServingGirl...

Gritting her teeth like she was just caught stealing, Sasha released her hold on a frightened girl and smiled innocently. "Uh... sorryaboutthearmlockthere," she whispered quickly, "I just got excited. Friends?"

As the bewildered Zuck woman hustled to get away from the two demonic beauties and the frightening serpent, Sasha jerked a thumb to the side, mouthing the words, "Beat it!" before crouching by the floudering nobleman's side. "INVIDIA FORFEND! Are you alright Lord Gallo? Wow, you've got some gooood reactions for a big guy! That lightning bolt almost hit you! Damn, wish I had some luck like that..."

Looking back at Lureene, she thrust her head, lips pressed tight, as if asking for some backup.

Man, Ellie's really getting a kick out of playing with Gallo! I bet he'd roll over and bark like a dog is she told him too.

The redhead bit her lip and snickered at something only she was privy to, before leaning forward to pick up a banana.

Heh, that would be funny, but he's aaall over her though... Freakin' gross! Alright, fun's fun but I wanna get out of here...

"Well, it's like this Lucy," Sasha said, as she began undressing the oblong fruit, "just because you don't have a big pile of crap sitting in front of your own house doesn't mean you can't smell the mess out by the curb next door. Sooo... just have your guys pick up everybody's sh1t. I'm sure Ellie and Princess Lissi will be reeaal happy, you know?"

With that, she began sucking on the banana, lost in thought before a sudden idea came to mind and she bit off the whole end. "Shay, aww dere any shops awound here where it doesn't shmell like a swum?"

Realizing she was speaking with her mouthful again, Sasha swallowed and added, "We wanted to see the sites!"

"Yeah, it's kinda stinky out there," Sasha admitted, pausing before stuffing some grapes in her mouth, "weww I'm shum pawsh ameweh..."

Man, these are a lot better than the ones I has earlier...

Lureene Ourson wrote:
"Don't worry, I will make sure Lord Gallo treats us to the finest repast he has to offer!"

"Well I hope it's better than the fruit that was in that little basket in our foyer," Sasha had said, nose wrinkled in disgust, "I ate some of the grapes but they tasted like wax!"

Lureene Ourson wrote:
"How do I look?"

Sasha stopped swishing about in her new cape and vaulted over a wingchair to land with a pleasant bounce next to her bosom buddy. "Well that's a silly question, you always look like a peach!"

Suddenly, the ranger furrowed her brow and bit her lower lip. "Crap, just realized I'm hungry. You really need to get ready faster, even Lissi doesn't take this long to get ready..."

Lureene Ourson wrote:
"Sorry, Sash, I think I will need you to dress up in your armor for this as I may need to fight Gallo off with my bare hands!"

"Uh..." There was some apprehension in the glance the redhead gave Giles, "walking around a villa in all that crap is one thing, but if we're going out on the town I'm wearing Sin's stuff — we'd both be screwed if somebody picked a fight of us and I was gimped like that."

Alright, this sounds exciting!

Sasha took a deep breath, trying her best to look serious and nodded twice vigorously. "You've got it Liii–ssar–ee..."

Dammit Sash, get it together!

"You've got it, Princess! I won't let anybody make... off with my Lady!"

Biting her lip, eyebrows raised in apology, she gazed at Lureene and asked hopefully, "Can we go now, my Lady ship?"

Alis took a measured breath and was just about to speak when the laughter of men and women approached from the hallway and the door opened again and Sasha happily proclaimed, "Hey, look who we found just walking this way on their own!"

"Oh!" Sasha's surprise at the unexpected mission, minor as it was, was evident on her features. Trying to look as serious as she could, the ranger stood up straight and saluted, "You can count on me, Princess," before hustling for the door, favoring her right foot only slightly.

And with a slam of the door and excited chatter from outside in the hall she was off.

Completely oblivious to Hior's true meaning, Sasha merely smiled her encouragement at Lureene.

"If anybody can come out on top, it's you, El– uh... My Lady!"

Sasha nodded in support, "It's true, I saw lots of carts moving stuff stuff around when I was out walking."

Forehead wrinkled at the sudden stop, the tip of her braid in her mouth as she fished for a ribbon in her pocket, Sasha nodded to the massive bronze doors and said, "Umm, I fink ish a push, Wissi..."

Apologize for what?

"Oh so you had a dream about those three fighting too?" Sasha asked absentmindedly, braiding her long, red hair as they walked, her tummy protesting its own indignity at the surprise meeting. "Well that's pretty neat, I dreamed that Lissi was a unicorn girl and we were hanging out with the pretty fairy lady... Anyway, who does all this business stuff on the weekend? Kinda rude if you ask me..."

Sasha practically winced as Lureene extricated the faerie goblet from her voluminous hair, but talk of soap and suds never failed to garner her attention. "Yeah, a bath does sound good!"

At mention of a vision, Sasha paused. "Oh did you have some really real dreams too? In mine it was you and Lissi and me and that pretty faerie lady and we'd all been taking a nap in this big white gazebo by the sea. Your wings were super pretty... like a magic flower and I think Lissi was a purple unicorn. Oh and the faerie lady had big butterfly wings like on that statue of Lyria where we fought your Mom. Only your Mom was there too, just... far away... and she was fighting with the leader of the Wasps and Lyria too and there was a tower built from the sea..."

Taking a breath, the excitable redhead looked around and asked, "Say, where's Ari? I want to tell him too! So what was yours all about Ellie? Who all was there anyway?"

Time: 4:30db (morning, 10:30am)

It was getting late in the morning, but the new bed was so comfy, and the company so very inviting... The leggy huntress stretched, a blissful sigh escaping her as she rolled over atop the perpetually warm angel beside her. With light spilling in from around the thick, velvet curtains, she caressed the soft, smooth skin of Lureene's cheek before allowing her hand to roam down her neck and beneath the satin sheets.

I know how to wake a sleeping beauty...

Fully intent upon teasing her lover's earlobe with her lips, Sasha brought her face closer only to knock her forehead against something hard and wooden. "OW! What the hell Ellie?"

It was then not with a sultry surprise but rather the sensation of Sasha pulling something free of her hair that Lureene was wrenched from a very good night's rest. Squinting in the dark, Sasha griped, "What did you get caught in your hair, a cup?"

Indeed, with her superior night vision, that was exactly what the buxom blonde found her friend holding — a sculpted wooden goblet festooned with tiny flowers and sticky with the residue of a fragrant wine. "Auugh, what is this, honey? It's all caked in your hair now..."

"What about Ellie's and mine?" Sasha asked, still entranced.

"Does that mean this is real or not?" Sasha asked breathlessly. Her face was a picture of sheer awe at the contest of spiritual wills.

"Whoa!" Sasha's eyes were luminous as living gems, her hair like liquid fire trailing off into a ribbon that seemed to vanish into the ether. "Lissi, you're a unicorn!"

Indeed as Lureene and her lover looked at the Princess whose eyes shone like amethyst, there seemed to spring from the center of her forehead a spiraling horn of similar hue that itself streamed off as if into another world. Likewise, even as the two looked at one another, it seemed to them that Lureene's wings were made less of muscle and membrane, but of radiant light.

Sasha perked up and chimed, "Heeey, that's Ellie and m–" before a hiccup interrupted her.

I didn't know Ari had an office.

"I wonder if he's got a cute secretary," she murmured to herself.

"Awwww," Sasha mewed, stumbling slightly as she turned to look back at Arion, "don't send Ari away, I like him!"

"Oh okay, nitey nite Mealy, it was nice meeting you! Maybe we can go play with Pope's kitty girl together sometime. Bye!"

Sasha wobbled slightly as she held the wine bottle up to the moon and squinted, finding it still nearly half full. "Yeeaah, that sounds like a good idea, okay!"

With that, the ranger was off, speaking of scabbards and spells long before the older woman had managed to entice the bottle from her hand.

Sasha looked over to where Sindariel was speaking with Amelia, Tiniel standing quietly by, and she hummed a bit as she softly mused, "I wonder if she'd really be interested..."

As Alis walked up, she could overhear Sasha going on excitedly, a bottle of wine in one hand, an empty glass in the other as she sat upon the wide railing, legs kicking alternately. Nearby, Lureene stood leaning her head upon Arion's chest, eyes closed as if she'd fallen asleep standing up.

"...said there's all sorts of neat shops and cafés in The Arcade, and since we've got all this money now– Oh, hey Lissi!"

With a big smile, Sasha hopped back down, the wine causing her to take a split second extra to find her balance before she sashayed over, shaking the bottle lightly in offering. Alis held held her fingers about an inch apart before extending her glass. As Sasha smiled and poured, she said, "We were just talking about going shopping tomorrow with all that reward money you gave us. Want to come with us? I told Ellie that I've got lunch!"

There were no words capable of expressing Sasha's joy. With a high-pitched noise that might have dropped bats from the air, she leapt as if to hug her lovers before remembering the precious treats in her palms. Then slowly, savoring every last delectable ounce of filling, she nibbled away at them, eyes closed in an expression of gustatory ecstasy.

Sooo gooood...

At last, with a sigh of simple pleasure, she swallowed the last bite, swinging her hips from side to side as she sucked the last few golden flecks from her fingers. Then, spotting the bottle of wine Lureene had brought along, she glanced behind her only to find that Giles had already cleared away her own glass.

Pointing a finger, with eyes hopeful, she asked, "Do you have enough to share, Ellie?"

Does this mean Lissi's supposed to get them?

Green eyes huge, like those of some hopeful puppy, Sasha gazed at Arion as if awaiting his permission.

"Uh..." Sasha looked to Lureene and shrugged. Shaking her head 'no'.

K: Nobility 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3

"Eeee!" With a squeal of delight, Sasha hopped up and gave the elderly dwarf a peck on the cheek before bounding off to claim her prize. At her leaving, Sindariel merely grinned to herself even as Tiniel furrowed her brow, looking towards Arion with lips pursed.

Yes, MINE!

Taking the halves, one in each hand, Sasha was about to gulp them both down when something drew her eyes upward... to Arion and Lureene.

Sucking on the corner of her mouth for a moment, she looked back down and then up again before, with great determination, walking over. "Heeey... diiid eitherofyouwantthelastofthedeviledeggs? Giles said I could have them..."

Sense Motive DC 27 (Arion):
Although the succubus might have seen it as a simple question, for his part Arion could tell that the redhead greatly wish to have them herself, and it was no small gesture she made in offering them to the two of you first.

"Weeellll... yeah I guess he was kinda pissed off, but I just don't think Ari likes how we do things back home, you know?"

Sasha glanced away from Sindariel and Tiniel over to where Arion and Lureene were wrapped in each other's arms. She smiled.

Aww, I knew she'd like him! They're so cute..."

The sound of plates being gathered up caught her attention and she turned to find Giles cleaning up after everyone else. Picking up her own plate, she asked hopefully, "Do you have any more of those deviled eggs, Mister Heartfire?"

When Darvesch and Amhranai had approached, they found Sasha in the middle of recounting to Alis, Sindariel, and Tiniel her struggles with Ugorji. "Yeah, exactly! That's when I was like, 'Ooh we can see where's he's standing if he's in the ri–'"

A wink from Alis to the approaching duo interrupted Sasha's train of thought. "Oh, hey guys!"

Not quite certain of anything Sindariel has said other than Alis' honorific, Sasha said, "What was with that Ookey-Jeebi guy? I felt like he had his damn sword at my eyes again there for a second until Lissi told him off!"

Yeeaah, third leg is right...

Sasha bit her lip, remembering the last time she 'helped' Darvesch with 'his armor' and the inevitible fuss she had caused. Brow furrowed for the sake of her newest lover, she told the captain, "Nnnevermind, I think Ari just found him," and closed the door.

Trying her best not to make eye-contact with either the dwarf or the succubus, the ranger shuffled over, covered his eyes with one hand, and then towed him to a safe distance with the other. Sitting him down on the edge of the footlocker, she hugged his head to the comforting softness of her chest and stroked his hair, repeating over and over, "It'll be okay Ari, somehow it'll all be okay..."

"Rice?" Sasha wrinkled her nose at the very word. "Yeeaah, good call letting us sleep in. I'll get the others up."

"Say, you haven't seen Darvie, have you? He's the short guy," she added helpfully.

Note: Everyone is awake by this point. (I'm assuming that Amhranai did not join the other four in the forecastle.)

Mmm... Oh yeeaah Lissi, just like that!

Sasha was in the middle of a very pleasant dream when a sprightly knock upon the forecastle door roused her to wakefulness. With a quiet gasp her eyes fluttered open in the darkened forecastle, straining to make out any details in the dark.

Aww damn, should've known it was just a dream.

Biting her lip a bit, wondering if the knock was perhaps in response to a loud dream, the huntress slipped out of her hammock and cautiously tip-toed over to the door, cracking it slightly. In a hushed voice, she whispered, "Hey, everybody's sleeping, is dinner ready or something?"

Sasha blushed and clutched her hands over her tummy as her lover settled into his meditative trance. Looking to Lureene, she asked quietly, "Wow, is my tummy that loud?"

Maybe Ari's got the right idea here...

With a sigh, the redhead finished stripping out of her armor and tights, until she wore only her long, green tunic. Then, reclining in her hammock, she loosened the laces at her neck, pulling at the collar with both hands so that she might enjoy the sensation of the cooler night air upon her skin.

"I'm just gonna sack-out for a bit Ellie," she whispered, "wake me if there's food or a fight."
