Ruathan looks at the goblin with a disappointed look on his face, calls Ron back to his shoulder, tucks the toad back in his pocket, and turns and walks back toward Heidmarch Manor, loading his wand back into his wrist sheath as he does.

Ruathan pulls out something squiggling from his pocket, crouches down, and holds it in the goblin's view. At that point, there is a ribbit that is clearly heard over the goblins whimpering.

Ruathan flicks his wrist, and a wand pops into his hand. He moves cautiously forward, keeping an eye on the flaming goblin, and taps the wand against the chameleon, healing him.

Wand of Cure Light Wounds: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (8) + 1 = 9

Ruathan then sends images of a weasel helping to put out the flames on the goblin to Ron, who skitters forward and attempts to assist with putting out the flames.

Ron's Reflex Save Assist: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 4 = 5

Ruathan sees that he is close to the goblin, casts Touch of Fatigue, and reaches out to touch the goblin.
Melee touch attack: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (16) + 2 = 18

Assuming a successful touch, DC 14 Fort, or becomes fatigued for 4 rounds.

Ruathan takes a deep breath, then squeezes through the hole in the wall.
Escape Artist: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (19) + 1 = 20

He looks closer at the goblin now that he can see it clearly, and tries to determine anything he can about the goblin. Knowledge(Local): 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (11) + 6 = 17

Ruathan looks intently at Ron, trying to get his feelings to relay his thought: Ron, be sneaky, and try to steal that necklace he's wearing!
Stealth: 1d20 + 16 ⇒ (4) + 16 = 20 Man, that's a crappy stealth roll.
CMB for Maneuver(Steal): 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (13) + 4 = 17 Pilferer archetype, Burglar trick, and Improved Steal feat

Ruathan grumbles about his inability to climb out of a bloody window, then turns around and runs back downstairs, out the front door, and to the wall with Liareal, Redemption, and Safark. As he arrives, he says, "Ron! Through the crack and follow the goblin! Don't let him get away!"

Climb (to assist Ron): 1d20 ⇒ 14

Escape Artist: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (12) + 6 = 18

Holy crap, I actually assisted!

I'm going to try to make both checks... and will probably fail.

Acrobatics: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (12) + 1 = 13
Climb: 1d20 ⇒ 18

And... I did. Yay.

As a free action

"Quick! A goblin just hopped out of the window, catch it! It's got blue skin!"

Round 1 Action:

Ruathan attempts to follow the goblin out the window, but doesn't quite make it.

Ruathan stops abruptly, cocks his head sideways and looks upstairs. "There's... something up there; stay alert, and ready your weapons." He then cautiously heads upstairs, being as quiet as possible.

Stealth: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (9) + 1 = 10

Initiative: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (12) + 1 = 13

Perception: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (19) + 7 = 26

Ruathan ignores the Wayang's failure to understand a formal Taldane turn of phrase, Ruathan bows to Redemption and says "Greetings, Redemption. I am pleased to make your acquaintance."

"What does one call" someone, or something, is very common in formal speech ;-P

He notices the wink, and snickers quietly at the look on Lireal's face. Turning to Ebyrlis while accepting the key and tucking it into his belt pouch, he says "Busy or not, less than two minutes to greet her new assignees is quite abrupt, and not the way I'm used to being greeted by a Venture-Captain."

Upon hearing about the incident in the greenhouse, he exclaims "My friend Omari was one of those Pathfinders! He was very upset about not being able to apprehend the person behind the attack."

Ruathan takes his leave and claims a bed, laying down to rest and meditate.

Ruathan looks around at his companions, then says, "Well... this is rather unusual. I've not had the pleasure of meeting Venture-Captain Heidmarch before; is this... normal when dealing with her?"

"I guess we should look into our quarters. Coming?" With that, he strides off toward the Bakrakhan House.

I liked my Sense Motive roll better, before I understood how the dice rolls work. I got a 19 :-(

Ruathan looks sharply at Jumana and narrows his eyes, but says nothing, then turns and bows slightly toward Safark. "Well met, Safark. How do we call your mount?"

A quiet, tanned, red-headed elf in robes enters the sitting room, with a red-furred weasel sitting on his shoulder, using a long spear made of Darkwood as a walking staff. Looking at those gathered already with his piercing emerald eyes, he says, "Hail and well met, fellow Pathfinders. I am called Ruathan; this is Ron." in a somber, sonorous baritone voice, pointing at the weasel. pronunciation is "Rue-ah-thon"

"How are you known?"

So, the plan is to start on Friday, right?

We have a sacred Huntmaster 3, a ranger 4, a witch 4, and a cavalier 5(?)

Does any one *not* have a pet?

I think Kamau may not have a pet. I'm still trying to decide if I want to have Nira at level 7 or a pseudodragon at level 5. Decisions, decisions.
