Not sure which of the two Irisa moved to so I'm not sure where Ronah would go on the map.

Ronah bites on her lower lip as the goblin's dogslicer slashes her skin. Yet the grimace turns into a grin as Irisa commands one of the goblins and then moves in behind another.

She decides to take advantage of the opening and takes a single step so that now they have the upper hand on one of the goblins.

5 foot step into a flank with Irisa
Full-Round Full attack on flanked goblins
Claw 1 attack: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (16) + 7 = 23 Claw 1 damage: 1d4 ⇒ 2
Claw 2 attack: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (2) + 7 = 9 Claw 2 damage: 1d4 ⇒ 3

Since I still threaten the other goblin, I'll roll my attack of opportunity already, in case it uses a second move action to stand up again.
Attack: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (13) + 5 = 18 Damage: 1d4 ⇒ 3

As printed Dreamstrike applies any riders linked to the slam attack of a phantom with the Emotional Focus that the Dreamthief (my archetype) has picked for their Dream Shard.

However the archetype was created with the standard Rogue in mind and when applied to an Unchained Rogue it leaves the Debilitating Injury class feature dangling. I asked the designer of the archetype about this, as linked on the first page of this discussion thread, and she said that if the Dream Strike would also meet the requirements normally associated with a Snack Attack it would apply Debilitating Injury. The first GM agreed with this.

Hello again all.

With all the forum downtime and a silly busy schedule on my end I had lost track of this game. When I went back I saw that our second GM couldn't run it any more and I kind of gave up on it. I'm back now though, if you'll still have me.

Irisa wrote:
It's only unchained monk that got a restriction on archtypes. The others can take them just fine.

I'll just add the caveat that they can only take archetypes that don't interfere with the change from Chained to Unchained. So the UnSummoner can't take archetypes that touch their eidolon (unless those archetypes were made for UnSummoner of course) and UnBarbarian can't take archetypes that touch Rage. As for UnRogues, anything that would mess with Trap Sense now simply does so with Danger Sense.

And yes, the archetype I took replaces Sneak Attack. I do get Dreamstrike, which would apply Debilitating Injury once I get that (as suggested by the designer of the archetype and agreed to by the first GM).

That said, I would like to make a small change to my character. I'd like to switch the Dream Shard class feature (giving me a phantom's emotional focus) from Desperation to Whimsy. I'd say the latter fits way better with the time Ronah spent stuck in the Feywild.

Faced with a goblin Ronah lashes ot with her claws once more, though it's close proximity allows her to use both. She knew she wasn't strong enough to inflict serious damage but shredding the things with both hands should do the trick.

Full round Full Attack on goblin 2
Attack Claw 1: 1d20 + 5 + 1 ⇒ (14) + 5 + 1 = 20 Damage Claw 1: 1d4 ⇒ 3
Attack Claw 2: 1d20 + 5 + 1 ⇒ (10) + 5 + 1 = 16 Damage Claw 2: 1d4 ⇒ 2

When the goblins show up Ronah she quickly turns to Koya, "Get to safety Auntie. I'll deal with this."

With that she moves forward, claws ready to strike. She does not c lose with the creatures though. She felt no need to get swarmed.

Move Move to square directly North East of Zella.
Standard Ready an attack for first goblin within reach.
Readied attack: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (18) + 5 = 23 Damage: 1d4 ⇒ 2

So yeah, until I get Dex to damage at 3 my damage will suck

Ronah is about to react slightly annoyed at the man wishing her luck while spraying crumbs when she feels the hand on her shoulder and hears a familiar voice. "Hello auntie. I hope you are right. I could use some of her luck right now." She sighs, though with a smile on her face.

I'm still here.

The main reason for not posting is there is very little to do from Ronah's point of view.

She's not one for talking to strangers without a decent reason and she's still getting used to being back on Golarion as well (she's been stuck in the Feywild for a few years).

Ronah sighed as the good father told the tail of Desna once more. For whatever reason people loved the story but to her it had always seemed cruel. Who, in her right mind, would want to be stuck for eternity as a butterfly? It probably was one of the dullest lives you could imagine.

It were stories like this that made her doubt her faith.

Still here as well. It'd be a shame if this strands here.

Ronah nods as the man decides Ameiko's meal is the best. Ameiko probably was the best cook in Sandpoint so it was no surprise.

The talk about the cathedral got her attention. It was something auntie had mentioned but Ronah never fully realised what it meant. A proper cathedral. Maybe they could offer her some help with her problem.

Being quite familiar with the Hagfish's practices Ronah heads for Ameiko's salmon. She generally preferred seafood, one of the few parts of her heritage she truly did not mind.

With a plate laden with salmon in hand she joined the other woman who was standing there, looking for a place to sit. "It's crowded isn't it? Hmm, the steak does look good. Maybe I need to make a second trip after all."

Ronah considered herself lucky for having arrived in Sandpoint several hours before the festivities had started. That had given her plenty of time to stash her heavy pack with auntie Niska catch up on what her family had been up to while she had been away.

When the festival got started she had made her way towards the new cathedral. While others were already taking part in all sorts of games she was taking in all the faces, some familiar but many not.

While scanning the crowd she made her way over to the food stalls. The trip here had been quite long and she hadn't eaten since Whistledown.

It was there she spotted the tall, Ulfen man. A new face in town. She quietly started following him around in order to find out what an Ulfen was doing in Sandpoint of all places.

I think I know where the difference comes from: You looked at all the contents of the Rogue's kit separately while I looked at them as a single thing.

If you add them all up you get to 54 lbs while the kit as a single unit somehow weighs 37 lbs. I guess that's some sort of bonus on Paizo's end as most kits have either a cost or weight discount and in some cases both.

I did mess up on the Baiju, I had those at half weight. So I get to 84 lbs total.

Actually it doesn't. My maximum is 90 lbs as the MW backpack makes it so my strength is treated as 1 higher for carrying capacity and her current load is 82 lbs.

In addition she'd want to ditch the normal backpack that's part of her kit (as well as some other things in it but I might as well use caltrops and the such).

EDIT: I actually have another question in regards to the future of my character. At 4th level the Unchained Rogue gets the Debilitating Strike ability and my archetype keeps that ability. However that ability triggers of Sneak Attack, which I traded in.

I asked the writer of the archetype about this and she basically suggested to have it trigger of dreamstrikes that meet the requirements for sneak attacks (her full answer is found here). That still is only a suggestion though so my question is, would you agree with said suggestion?

Hello all and thanks GM for picking me.
